Tingle is hilarious, and am actually sad this is the only representation he gets in Breath Of The Wild. He should get a floating platform that you can shoot down, then when he lands, he does a dance for you. Or maybe you find Tingle in locations like Koroks, and you hear Tingle say "YA-HA-HA!"
Not having Tingle in the game is a missed opportunity for silliness.
I love Nintendo's LAN push. I've already been taking advantage of it at home for Mario Kart. 4 TV's, 4 systems, 8 players. Is it necessary? Not really. Is it cool? Absolutely!
This game is really good. I'm more a fan of Shodai Nekketsu Kouha, but this is a really good one. It feels more like a later Double Dragon game, but with Kunio and Riki. The story gets really intense, and the fight system is spot on.
If you like beat-em-up games and you haven't played this, go do it now.
I recommend playing Shodai Nekketsu Kouha also. That game is open world, SNES style. The "barriers" are super high level enemies. You can defeat them, but you better get your weaving game down, or you're gonna get knocked out.
I perordered the special edition a month and some change ago. It's my first Disgaea game, with the last strategy game of this style I played being Tactics Ogre on GBA. I'm having a LOT of fun with Disgaea! The art is great, I don't mind the voices (mostly), you CAN play in Japanese if you want, and the battle system is really fun.
The one thing this game really does is show the power of the Switch. Not in sheer, raw power, but in the ability to take the game wherever you want. This is gonna be a long game, so to be able to take it with you, then get home and play, the Switch is perfect for this type of game.
...let's be real though. The Switch is perfect for every time of game.
@Amsterdamsters Not just your Switch, but ANY Switch! If a friend comes by with their Switch and they want to show you their progress in a game, they simply dock their Switch and they're set to go. Easiest setup change of any system.
I'm gonna buy another dock just to take the internals out and put them into a more portable fixture. I'm not a fan of the pricing, but I definitely understand why they do it.
@UK-Nintendo There's a lot of braking, but if you use small characters, it's very manageable. I play 150cc with either Tanooki Mario or Pink Gold Peach, but 200cc, I drop down to Lakitu and change my kart config completely. It's definitely worth playing, but holding the accelerator and brake at the same time during a drift will save you a LOT.
Day 1 for sure. My wife leaves the country for a good month, leaving me to play this game religiously. New LAN modes means I'm hosting some mean LAN parties for this. I already played this game for the past 3 plus years, and am ready to play until the next Mario Kart.
I just ordered my Switch Pouch from Waterfield. Definitely looking forward to it. I can just throw it into an existing bag. Then when I bust out the case to play some games, it'll look hella stylish. I'm all about this.
@ventilator That's awesome!
I've now got The Last Ninja stuck in my head. Such a good song.
Do they have any other C64 composers there? DRAX, Fanta, or Jeroen Tel?
For everyone hating on Phil Collins, we're talking about his later works, right? Because his early works with Genesis are godlike. Listen to Selling England By The Pound and just TRY and tell me that sucks. Of course, we're all entitled to our opinions.
I love David Wise's compositions. So good, I played his Donkey Kong Country songs to my wife, a non-gamer, and she loved those jams and requests to hear them in the car all the time.
Where can I kickstart FFXV on Switch? Because if I could, I would. I really would like to play this, and even if I had a PS4, I'd rather play it on Switch due to portability.
This isn't DF hating on the 3DS graphics and pointing out flaws. I think it's interesting to see how different systems handle games, and that's the way they treat it too. No fanboyism. Just no comparisons. The 3DS is a champ.
I'm actually saddened by this because I have HUGE interest in a racing simulator coming out to Switch. Being able to race at home, then take the race on the go while tuning vehicles, trying out your new configurations anywhere, and challenging people out in meatspace.
I hope Switch gets something like Project Cars or Assetto Corsa down the line. As a big race fan, I'm saddened. Here's hoping Codemasters steps up to the plate with a Grid game.
I know a lot of people who love the idea of having the Switch go anywhere with them, so being able to play their big console games on the go makes the Switch look really good in their eyes. So much that if there were games brought out for all three big systems, they'd choose the Switch due to the portable aspect. Working a lot, plus families makes a portable system a great way to get that game time in. It's important to still be able to indulge in your hobbies even if that whole life thing is taking up the majority of your time. Seeing the reactions a bunch of sports fans I know had to the Switch commercial was great.

This is one of my favorite games on the Super Famicom. It's a challenge, and the story is a lot of fun, with actual branching paths!
