We can only hope there's a direct or more info to share soon because as it stands it just looks okay. Impressions from the Switch 2 events weren't glowing so I have some concerns but I hope to be proven wrong.
@SplatRay001 I lost most hope awhile ago but the 10th anniversary w/ nothing was the nail in the coffin for me. So hyped they finally did it with Switch 2 updates!
@Jack_Goetz This happened to me a couple times last Thursday or Friday. I noticed the Switch screen itself thought the Switch was handheld and not docked. After undocking and docking I have had 0 issues since, but still a little worrisome considering this never happened with my Switch 1 on same setup.
I know why Nintendo is continuing to go down this hybrid path and it makes 100% sense from a business viewpoint. But as a 95% docked player I can't help but wish there was a non-handheld version.
@tweaknmod Definitely quieter and overall the controller just has a more "premium" feel. The sticks in general though are probably the most noticeable improvement!
Has anyone else been having issues with the dock/connection? A few times today it would switch to handheld mode randomly which was especially frustrating considering I was playing online. The Switch 2 feels way less sturdy in the dock compared to Switch 1. Is this just the unit I got or are other people also having this issue or noticing the instability?
Side note - that is also when I noticed just how hot the unit can get. I was shocked when I picked it up to fix!
@raymond23 While I don't fully agree with you, I am also disappointed that most of your time playing in Grand Prix is just driving from one course to the next. I like the idea, but I feel like only 1 of the 3 laps should be driving to the course instead of 2/3. I don't understand why they thought players should be spending 67% of their time just driving between courses.

Re: Mario Kart World: How To Unlock Mirror Mode
I definitely did not place 4th or higher in every knockout and yet I still got it. (I played them all, but a couple I only got 6-7th)

Re: Random: Splatoon 3 Squid Roll Bug Reportedly Surfaces On Switch 2
Apparently this only works in the testing room and private battles so it shouldn't affect normal online play at all.
