Quite awesome its gonna be ported - dark souls is definitely a great game that will enhance the switch library. Personally I am not into those dark and gritty games (doom, skyrim etc.) so I will give it a pass

My bet is on Fire Emblem Switch with a not too far release date hopefully (day one for me).
And we get news about paid online, welp. Something that I hate to think about - not that I couldnt afford it but because I rarely go online these days - got splatoon since september and havent tried it out yet.

Any addiction is potentially harmful. So what?! Its sad if people have nowhere to turn to but gaming but at least they got something.

I dont think they would copy the elder scrolls, rather create something unique and fresh. I would apreciate a more rpg-like zelda to be honest

never played zero dawn.
I do understand the idea behind the exploration of hyrule in botw and it has worked well for what it is. IMO both scripted events and exploration as in botw can work well together.

Tough call imo - the game is great, the freedom is awesome. One of my favorite games. However, there was something missing imo - story! They should create a mix of botw standards and elder scrolls story telling.

Wise decision imo - they better put all effort into the next zelda - botw is a great game - it doesnt need more of the same.

Even though I like botw very much I would appreciate if the next zelda would be more focused on story with towns full of people etc and less ruins.

I think mario rabbids is a great exclusive and we need more of it - not necessarily nintendo franchises but something that is catered to the nintendo audience.

Its the disappointment of not getting what you expected. Totally my mistake as nintendo barely explained what its gonna be - so I mistakenly expected something bigger - actually like a whole new story that takes place in botw's hyrule - some new original story content, guess we could argue about semantics here.
In the end its a lesson for me never to fall for these kind of dlc baits. Mario rabbids does the same - they ask you for 20 bucks, deliver some minor content first with a promise of bigger content with more story lateron. And it makes sense you think, they just released the game so it will take some time for them to create something bigger. Or xenoblade with 30 bucks asking price. So I will rather wait and see from now on.

Not really complaining about those 20 bucks - but I believe if I had known what the whole package would be I would have bought it much later - maybe even waited for a discount as I do not consider killer must-have content. And thats my minor gripe with it. Its certainly not the dlc-of-the-year.

Guess they wanted to cash in before christmas and patch it afterwards. Not my game anyway. Ordered Etrian 5 yesterday

Havent played it yet, but bought it during summer. Feel a little bit disappointed and ripped off by nintendo when reading the comments. The DLC was advertised as a different story in Hyrule. Last DLC I bought on trust.

Dammit - I preordered the game on a gut feeling but after the demo - seems pretty meh... will cancel my preorder.

I am getting more and more tired of new console releases - hope the switch will be replaced by a backwards compatible successor.

The Situation is way better than on the wii u back in the day. Cant say if it has too many great games. I am mostly interested in first party games and appreciate the flow in which they have been coming out.

Will pass on this one - even though it looks great. I still havent played my DS copy and dont mind the older graphics

Truth be told, Nintendo Switch is a different console and nintendo fans are different gamers. I only buy nintendo consoles and mostly first party games. If I ever wanted to play fifa I would have bought a sony or ms console. Totally not interested in the game. In order to make an impact on the switch companies need to focus on exclusives. Kingdom Battle was a nice surprise for me. First Ubi Soft game in my collection in over 10 years

I was on the fence with MH Stories but finally got myself to order it. Will get it at the end of October together with Samus Returns Superstar Saga and Mario Odyssey. Like to buy games in 'bulk' to cut down on shipping costs.

Nice game overall. Was a little bit worried at first but after I saw reviews I bought it right away. No regrets. Gonna buy the dlc, too.

How old is this game? I remember playing it like what? 5 years ago? You could buy xbox 360 version for like 15 EUR sealed.

Getting it when Odyssey comes out together with splatoon and metroid and superstar saga. Always buy a couple of games in one package every couple of months

Not sure I would call it the golden era but it definitely has its pros but also its cons. I dont necessarily like the commercial aspect of gaming and how it has shaped games of today. Be that as it may, each generation brings something new and intetesting but I am getting older and spend less and less time with gaming although I buy much more games than when I was young and spent more time with it, hmmm I should think about that.
Sometimes I am under the impression that there is simply too much of everything and choice and priority have become difficult to decide. Maybe thats why I simply go with nintendo.

I dont really know what to think about nintendo discounts or special offers. I mean its cool that they believe their aged products are premium and deserve premium treatment - thats part of what makes em special (other games that old can be bought for dirt cheap in a package with othet games).
But personally I think they dont have a real sense of honor. Prime trilogy released with a 50% discount. Along the way it was offered as a bargain with 50% off. Thats when I bought it, even though I own the disc version. But giving a discount of 30% in exchange for gold points? I think thats a little bit insolent. I mean u dont have to take em up on their offer, its up to you but imo its the wrong signal if u do.

Fully justified lawsuit imo. No one would buy a ticket in order to participate in a disaster. You buy a ticket if you are led to believe something amazing is about to happen. Wonder how this will end.

Never got into the amiibo craze. Own just one amiibo that came with the super mario maker wii u console. Still in its box.

thats the idea. nintendo games usually dont fall in price unless they are pretty mediocre. So buying it day one would be stupid

I cancelled my preorder today. I dont want to invest in a mediocre game even though I like pikmin, that might send the wrong signal to nintendo. In fact I cancelled my whole order which comprised of splatoon 2 and ever oasis. I think I need to start prioritize game purchases and wait for price drops of certain games. Next purchase will comprise of splatoon 2, metroid 2, superstar saga, kingdom battle (if its any good) and mario odyssey

Games like nintendogs or tomodachi life never really appealed to me and this would be one of them. Of course I understand that not everyone can have pets and a nintendogs game might be a viable alternative to real pet. To each their own.

I never ever rage quitted a game. But.very often lost points in mk8 or splatter because of connection errors. Wonder if those connection errors will get me blocked

Never really gotten into kingdom Hearts. Would be nice though

Hmm... So far I have owned the 2ds and as of last year the n3ds. I must admit it had given some serious hands cramps. I bought a n3ds grip and gaming has become awesome. Will probably buy an xl version down the road probably n3ds. Got the appropriate grip ready.

Hmm... Now I am on the fence to cancel my pre-order. Sounds like a bargain bin title for me. Finally tried the demo and wasn't too impressed

Im from Poland. You can get a switch here - probably because nintendo isnt really popular here. People buy PS4 or xbox in Poland.
