I own a 360. The initial purpose was to gain access to Rare's extended, albeit less-good, catalog of games due to the buy-out. Turns out my 360 collection is waaaaay bigger than my Wii collection. Don't get me wrong, I love Nintendo to death; I would take one Mario game in a console's life cycle over three Halo's. But it's good to branch out to at least two different systems. One system for the system exclusives, and the other for multi-platform games that don't reach one of the consoles. In my case, Rare being system exclusives for 360 sold me.

Guuhhh, gonna have to try to not download Freaky Formes. Definitely want it, but saving for Sticker Star.

Blaaaggh I'd love to import a JPN 3DS, but as most importers know, there are now issues with the battery during shipping, new laws or summat. As I'm studying Japanese, it's been increasingly easier to fumble around imports, so picking up a JPN 3DS and not having to worry about localization/long wait times (Dobutsu no Mori: Tobidase RIGHT NOW, anyone?) would be the cream of my jeans.

You guys have always seemed really fair, and I love reading your reviews.

@Burning_Spear I agree, but Nintendo is probably saving a butt-load of cash by outsourcing production. We'd all like to think the company is roses and lollipops, but they're a business- a business that's actually not doing so hot right now. :< They have to cut corners, methinks.

@SkywardLink98 Yes, but the PS3 doesn't have an innovative, never been done before controller. Imagine how much manufacturing those things must cost! Plus, I heard some weird rumor about PS3's smelling like cabbage or something.

I recently got a record player because I'm an old fart. This technology scares me when it's on my lawn.

So pumped for this, my 3DS needs some loving. But, oh my God, I want to fire whoever named the new Animal Crossing. "Jump Out/Tobidase" was so much better.

I just wanna know what the dude does for 27 days, on the street, in the cold. How does he get food? How does he charge his stuff? How does he have the money to support this endeavor?

I feel like saying more reasons to become a recluse when the headline is about streetpassing (which, y'know, requires going around people) was a bit silly.

Regardless, this game looks amazing.

See this is why I never buy any new technology; I wait until it's been out for a while and pick up a used console/game. That way it's one less person feeding the demand and ramping up production. I bought my 3DS used, works like a charm, AND that was one less console a worker had to make.

I don't know why it would be too hard to localize this; it isn't risky throwing it onto the eShop because it's a digital download. All of Nintendo's first-party eShopware has done pretty well, methinks.

Ashcraft is known as the Bashcraft when Nintendo releases anything new. I'm not going to pay attention to his opinion. He whined about the 3DS stand, but dat stuffs awesome.

@TruenoGT ...Not...true? That's why Nintendo's image is still hindered by it's "kid friendly" perception from consumers.

What has Retro made besides the Prime series and Donkey Kong Country Returns? It's silly to call one studio better than the other when one of the studios has a sprawling portfolio of gold and the other, good though it is, hasn't developed nearly as many titles.

^The built in game is Nintendoland, because who in their right mind would buy the White console?

@Happy_Mask Okay, Aquaman Battle for Atlantis is an awful, awful game. Adventured doesn't suffer from invisible walls and awful gameplay. What about the game is so terrible? You think it's awful because it's similar to Zelda? I don't feel like that's a reason, as a Zelda fan myself. Does that mean you hate Darksiders?

In all seriousness, I'm really hoping for a localization of Tomodachi Collection!! It will help soothe the pain of waiting for Animal Crossing Tobidase.

@bro2dragons I totally agree with you, however, the game getting a sequel sadly probably won't happen. Look at the EarthBound series! I mean... MOTHER 3 came out before Brawl, so there's a small chance that Japan would get a sequel... I'm keeping my hopes low.

I think it's dumb that Nintendo's all, "Y'know? Our consumers definitely don't need the weekend to play a new game. Heck, most of them have the weekends off from school and work, buuuuut... fudge it!"

@mieu-fire If you're just going to sell the prizes, that's really unfair that you entered. There are a lot of collecters, myself included, that are really hoping for this stuff to /keep!/ This is a really cool contest, and an attitude like that might sway NL/Two Tribes from doing something like this in the future.

Or have an online store to actually buy these. Like an online Nintendo World store. However, that probably makes too much sense for NOA, as they're rarely logical. "Oh, New Super Mario Bros. 2 should come out three weeks after Europe gets it." Totally.

@KaiserGX Freakyforms is my third most-played title at 70 hours. Yeah.

If you are a creative person, Freakyforms is a bottomless pit of awesome. Totally worth the monies.

I'm starting to think if SNES emulation is ever in the cards for Nintendo... I mean, the 3DS obviously has the ability. Super Mario RPG on the go? Yes, please.

This is the biggest disappointment. Who is Nintendo kidding? Every year these get worse, and that's not even an exaggeration. Yes, I know Nintendo doesn't have to give us free stuff, and I'm grateful of the concept, but after that year with the statue, everything's been poop. And it really doesn't help that Japan gets everything awesome. It's so dumb. It makes no sense. These should just be rewards you could spend coins on. I didn't spend hundreds of dollars to be able to download two decade-old games for free. Or posters. Ugh.

Well, Nintendo, if you made your consoles region-free, I would have no desire to resort to other means. Told.

Though new street passes are rare for me, I work with four people that own 3DS's, have three friends that have 3DS's, and my college has tens of people I streetpass with during the semester. I feel guilty if I don't stretch my 3DS's legs every day! In fact, I'm almost past the 1,500,000 step mark!

@LollipopChoSaw Can you stop getting so angry about a video game? If someone's calling it deep, how does this affect your day... at all?

I'm happy that the option is there for people who don't have it yet, but my launch 3DS is very portable and I love it so much! Plus, I have to save for a WiiU. Will be interesting to see how much this sells...
