Re: Let Camelot Know If You Want Another Golden Sun

Hey, Camelot. I have an idea. Take your Mario Tennis Open back, we can all pretend it didn't happen, and then release Mario Tennis Open DX with an actual RPG mode. Because that makes sense, releasing a console-esque MT game on a handheld.

Re: Wii U Power Lacks a 'Generational Leap'

@Corbs Couldn't agree more. I'm pretty sure anyone buying a Nintendo console is definitely in it for the exclusives. Any third party game that was multi plat I always got on my 360 anyway. I play Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games, because there's nothing like them on earth!

Re: Feature: Retro Console Launches - NES

@tvnewsguy Wow, you must have been really spoiled. If I ever asked my dad to take a Christmas gift back to the store to exchange it, he would've been crushed... let alone something as expensive as an Atari. I can't imagine how bad your dad must have felt.

Re: Feature: Kid Icarus - Nintendo's Next Big Franchise?

bahooney

Kid Icarus: Uprising deserves to be the introduction to an evergreen status. Seriously, it's one of the best games I've played, ever. It is definitely a system seller for the 3DS! Sakurai should be revered as one of the best developers of our time... right up there with Miyamoto. His games are few and far between, but they're consistently game-changers. His wealth of ideas is nigh-unmatched.

Re: Nintendo Download: 10th May 2012 (Europe)

bahooney

Guys, I can't stress the importance of downloading Monster World IV enough... do you realize that if this gets enough downloads, perhaps other companies will take notice and release translated retro titles on VC? They probably thought it would lead to lost funds... but Sega's really stepped up to the plate with this one. Please!! Download this now!

Re: Pokémon Black & White Version 2 Announced

bahooney

I don't know why everyone's complaining about not getting Grey. Essentially, this is a better outcome as it has two games to choose from and actually expands upon the story. I'm surprised people don't get upset about the third in each trilogy like yellow/crystal/etc because that's more of a rehash than this is.

Re: Talking Point: 3DS Depends on Nintendo Titles for Success

bahooney

Can't say I play a lot of third-party games; I'm not interested in RE:R, or any of the other 3rd party offerings that have been... offered. That said, being a Nintendo fanboy, but owning a 360, has proven to be an invaluable choice. Any third party games I care about I just get for the 360, and every first party IP from Nintendo I snatch up.

Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!

@antdickens: regarding what you said about people judging someone's opinion based on where they're from, leading to the removal of flags, I've actually never seen that happening and I frequent this site daily! I feel that's a little (and i Must stretch the word little, here) similar to Nintendo opting for a friend code system to avoid anything bad happening on the internet. If someone is going to judge someone based on where they're from, they'll probably just click on the user's info to find out first now. No sense in bringing the rest of us good citizens down! But oh well... what can one do. :<

Re: Welcome to the New Look Nintendo Life!

It's radical, good job guys. Everything is a lot more streamlined and slick, also loving the bigger avatars. That said, I enjoyed seeing the little country flags next to posters' names... are the coming back? Not a huge issue, but it was neat is all. :3

Re: Talking Point: The Future of Pokémon

After playing through Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones for the first time, I realized how bland and linear the Pokemon games are; they don't have to be, and I feel it would totally be an improvement to get some Grade-A writers up in that poop.

Re: Crystal Dynamics Explains Tomb Raider Wii U No-Show

bahooney

I think this is a window of things to come; developers will feel that they don't want to bring a "vanilla port" over to the Wii U because of it's special capabilities... and they probably won't be bothered to develop something else. Cue a repeat of the Wii's third-party support.
