Im fine with the key card thing, mainly because im lucky enough to have a stupidly fast internet connection. But it does suck for most players absolutely.

The good thing is that these games can be sold on. I usually buy single player games (Like Resi Evil) for XB or PS on disc so once i've happily finished it I'll chuck it on eBay so I can make a good enough amount to buy the next game. The same goes for Switch games.

If they come onto the store later in a massive sale I might double dip, something to go back to.

It will go gangbusters in Europe & Japan if it's also released on PS4 & Switch 2. Sure Ray-Tracing is fancy but if it's a slightly stripped down modern RE Engine Requiem will still run and look lovely up against their 4K counterparts. This is a great sign that the S2 will get PS4 port's of the previous remakes.

Im up for whatever Microsoft can bring to Switch 2 (especially Rare Replay). Also it would be cool if they could get into talks about bring Xbox Cloud Gaming to it. Every device i've tried, played (mostly single player) games brilliantly. Put in over 5 hours of Indy on just the cloud with minimal glitching.

Hopefully we can forget about the old cloud based games from before.

Also on my 6th year of doing rain dances in hope MS will grow some grapefruits and get Rare Replay (or some type of Rare legacy) game on to Switch.

Hopefully Nintendo will see sense and re-release it in some form. Like hell am I paying at least £58 for a second hand eBay one (or £68 for a grubby CEX cart).

@Heavyarms55 Totally agree. Mario Party is a great game. But after nearly 2 years is a bit stale. Still good as a pick up and play for a hour with the kids but that’s about it. I will gladly pay for a new DLC set of boards and mini games. Same goes with Mario Kart, new tracks would be fab.

Give it a week, someone will get DOOM running on it

@Beermonkey I’ve given up hope for PES coming to the Switch. Ever since EA started reskinning the annual FIFA for top price Konami have been sat in the corner and not capitalising from this. Be nice to get some news this year but I’m not banking on it

For me a beef up in performance, not much 4K but flat out 1080p 60fps much like the base PS4. If it runs titles like Resi 2/3 in its full console glory then I'd be happy.

Another better option for me personally would be the under the TV console, not the handheld. Then they could likely hit PS4 Pro & XBX 4K speeds. If Nintendo can get out the expanded cartridges out cheaper then 3rd party support will get better.

And the irony is that it's partially down to Capcom that the Switch got the extra RAM on board so they can get the RE Engine running on it. All the while they have failed to bring 7 & REMake 2 to the Switch and got demos of a half-assed 7 year old PS3 port. Shame.

So what happened with them Frostbite programming jobs earlier in the year then? Just wish EA would come out and say whether or not the engine is going to happen, at least then there will be less surprise when the next legacy FIFA is announced.

I'm shocked that Konami has not took advantage of this either in the last 2 years and brought PES to the Switch. For the Frostbite & Fox Engine get a separate team to handle the Switch ports, If Witcher can be achieved on it then surely these can.

@Kalmaro Same with me. I'm willing to play Sunshine again. Bought it at launch originally but never fell in love with it. Maybe because I wanted a proper 3D Mushroom Kingdom Mario 64 sequel and never got it. Only the masterpiece that is Odyssey came nearest.

Now I appreciate Sunshines look and mechanics more than before. My money is ready!

Totally opposite with me and the wife haha. She rarely swears but during a Mario Kart & Party session she opens up the F & C Bombs good and proper haha. Even a bit of physical violence.

Suppose "pwning" her is worth a dead leg or 2 lol.

As mentioned many times before one of my biggest hopes is for Rare Replay in some form. Microsoft and Nintendo are best mates so making a few quid between them is not a bad thing.

Shame about the Resident Evil 7 outlook. Seeing as the Memory upgrade request was apparently due to Capcom getting the RE Engine up and running...

The EA Frostbite news for FIFA was good overall and what's needed now is Capcom coming out and saying Resi 2 & 7 are on their way and my PS4 Pro will be gathering dust until TLOU2 haha.

They forgot about it because they are cracking on and getting the Frostbite engine up and running ready for FIFA 20.

All the while there's not even a sniff of Resident Evil 7 or 2 coming to the Switch.

Hopefully this could be an incentive for Nintendo to release new DLC for Mario Kart. Id be happy to fork out for a few new & remade tracks.

Yeah got mine preordered with Shopto, well before the game launched, £15/£20 saving overall is well worth it. Perfect stocking filler for the kids
