Yay I guess?

It's a little amiibo function that doesn't take away content from the game, so it's good in my book.

@blackice85 I didn't think about it under this perspective. With technological advance nowadays, the probability that this becomes a reality just grows everyday. It's a little frightening.

But from a legal standpoint, it won't be a threat for long. The juridical system has changed throughout the years to adapt to new evidence and scientific methods. You can discern a photoshopped picture (albeit unreliably) from a genuine one with the right equipment, so I have no concern that a loophole could be found if "shopped" video evidence was to be created.

Fake leaks are going too far. We have come to the point where we can CREATE physical objects to pretend being the real deal.

Good lord, fake leaks just get more and more elaborate! That's kind of terrifying.

It's either real or an incredibly well made fake. The only thing that bother me are the camera at the bottom and the huge "CONFIDENTIAL PROPERTY" sticker. The former seems very misplaced and the latter trying to be the real deal, but I could be wrong.

In any case, only time will tell.

I can kinda understand why they would do this, but I honestly think it's a bad idea. I mean sure, they created it, but it seems to be a bit too much.

Man, I love Super Mario Maker drama. If they ever made a play about it, I'd watch it in an instant.
It's like regular drama, but the premise is so unusual and out there, it makes for a very enjoyable experience.

I honestly thought that Miitomo would flop in Japan and I'm extremely glad to be wrong. Here's to hoping it has at least a little success in the West.

I personally believe it's fake. It looks too... "perfect". As in basically an exact copy of the patent.
And I love how the "NX" will fail because of the controller. The Wii U didn't fail because of the gamepad, but because of non existent marketing, odd naming and lackluster backlog of games. Calm down.

@Shiryu Food and shelter are overrated. Japanese merchandise is where it's at.

It's a very minor detail, but I really like how the text shakes with the hand whenever it says "Shake a [object]".

@Yorumi Except you're on the Internet. It is oh so easy to pass complaints as "opinions". The game isn't out yet, all we know is that it has similar story to the 64 and that it includes motion controls. "Ruined" seems to have changed definitions, I see.

@FTPinkRabbit Not mine. A friend showed it to me. I think a Japanese fan made it, but don't quote me on that.

I didn't go in expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised. Glad we have Europeans release dates. And Shibata dancing was amazing. He actually dances pretty well.

@gcunit The Yarn Yoshi was a plush. The Arwing was probably intended to be a hard figurine, which given it's design and functions, would not be up to safety and quality standards.

"Reveals" are very few and in-between in Nintendo directs and considering the current drought, it is less than likely that we'll get an actual "reveal" of something new before E3.

And I never said that they wouldn't deliver new information. I clearly stated : "Do not expect a new game announcement or games that are not to be released in the specified timeframe."

We'll probably get info about release dates and such, but nothing more.

I'll say it right now: keep your expectations in check.

It would have had so much more of an impact if only the damn leaks didn't happen.
Other than that, I was pretty satisfied, particularly by the bank info.

I'll be honest, this excited me a little. It made me want to go dust off my old Wii copy. I really do love Twilight Princess.

I was wondering what naming convention they would use (colors, letters, minerals). Now, we have to add celestial objects to the list.

I still believe that the "NX" won't come out in 2016 and the fact that no one stills know anything about it (we don't even have a semblance of an official name) just makes me believe that all the more.

@liljmoore Don't put Europe with Japan. For one, I'm still waiting for a FE Fates release date, which everybody and their mother already have.
And remember that Nintendo is a japanese company.

In the US and Europe, Splatoon is a fad.

@AndrewJ I doubt it. One of the major features in Skyward Sword is how to use the motion controls, whether it is in fighting or in puzzle solving. You can't waggle the Wiimote during a fight for example, since the enemies will block everything.
