Re: Fooling The World With a 3D Printed NX Controller

WireWare

@blackice85 I didn't think about it under this perspective. With technological advance nowadays, the probability that this becomes a reality just grows everyday. It's a little frightening.

But from a legal standpoint, it won't be a threat for long. The juridical system has changed throughout the years to adapt to new evidence and scientific methods. You can discern a photoshopped picture (albeit unreliably) from a genuine one with the right equipment, so I have no concern that a loophole could be found if "shopped" video evidence was to be created.

Re: Video: Feast Your Eyes On Star Fox Zero's Opening Story Cinematic

@Maxz That is... surprisingly accurate. And epic. Like anime levels of epic.
(The level of epicness it represents is up to you, but think of it as pretty darn epic.)

I shall now picture knights in Shining Armour violently typing on magical keyboards to save Princess Vidja Games from the mythical Japanese dragons.
...
The worst thing about that is I kinda want to hear such a story now.

@Yorumi Except you're on the Internet. It is oh so easy to pass complaints as "opinions". The game isn't out yet, all we know is that it has similar story to the 64 and that it includes motion controls. "Ruined" seems to have changed definitions, I see.

And you honestly think that giving "opinions" on here will the changes the practices of a whole company? A japanese company? Good job.

Re: Talking Point: It's Catch-Up Time for Nintendo Direct, With North America and Europe Having Different Priorities

@Neko_Ichigofan As I said : "this ND will focus on actual releases that we are already know about."

"Reveals" are very few and in-between in Nintendo directs and considering the current drought, it is less than likely that we'll get an actual "reveal" of something new before E3.

And I never said that they wouldn't deliver new information. I clearly stated : "Do not expect a new game announcement or games that are not to be released in the specified timeframe."

We'll probably get info about release dates and such, but nothing more.

I'll say it right now: keep your expectations in check.
It is more than certain that this ND will focus on actual releases that we are already know about. Do not expect a new game announcement or games that are not to be released in the specified timeframe.
In short, don't expect Zelda U. Or whatever other rumors of games we have had the "pleasure" to hear of.

Re: Rumour Buster: Let's Clarify Some Issues With Those Recent Nintendo NX Predictions

WireWare

This is a vicious cycle. A beautiful, beautiful vicious cycle.

All these "leaks" and the speculations around them only builds fictitious expectations that I guarantee will not be met.
But do not fret! I have come from the distant future to enlighten you!

It was 2017, five years after the release of the NX. Nintendo discovered a time travelling technology that allowed them to replace the Wii U with the NX.
Turns out it wasn't a new system, but a new concept, a new way of life, indescribable to your primitive minds.

It was a revolution. Everybody was fighting over it. The war consumed Sony and Microsoft, unable to fight off such popularity. PC Gamers succumbed to it's appeal, leaving the computerized supremacy to self destruction.

It is now the year 20XX. The world is in ruins, under the harsh rule of its new commander, Kimishima. Mario games are now to be revered in all their sanctity, unless death is what you wish upon.

Playing Nintendo games is now mandatory.

When a suddenly, a young fool crawls up to the feet of our supreme leader Kimishima, and asked with a cracking voice:

"Why Lord? Why must you make us suffer this way?"

Our Lord slowly and menacingly walked up to the crying child and answered in a low voice and with a twisted smile:

"You had big expectations. You wanted greatness."

He then whispered to the child's ear:

"And we have delivered."

So here you have it! I hope that's what you wanted
