God some of you people are ***** ridiculous. Half of you all don't seem to remember that when the Xbox One was announced it was going to be a system you had to ALWAYS be online with, and Mattick's quote was literally spitting in the face of people claiming that practice was anti-consumerist as hell.

Bowser's statement was literally just saying that they're going to keep making and supporting the Switch for those who can't afford the Switch 2 at this time.

The fact that I even have to explain this just shows how ignorant gamers are. You can call me a Nintendo fanboy all you want but it's the truth - and Nintendo Life has been almost nothing but rage bait articles the past several days.

Mario Kart is absolutely a system seller - Mario Kart Wii is the highest selling Wii game outside of Wii Sports, and Mario Kart DS is the third best selling DS game. Also, Mario Kart World is literally being bundled with the Switch

Also I've heard that Mario Kart World is $65 in Japan so the tariffs are probably playing a part in why it's $80 in America

Why does Sony get a pass everytime they re-release a remaster of a game rhat isn't even old and sells it for $70 but if Nintendo sells that much for a new game people consider then the greediest company ever? Also, Sony anf Microsoft started the precedent of $70

I've read opinions from others with larger than average hands where they've stated it didn't feel uncomfortable to them.

The right stick position looks identical to the position on the regular Joy-Cons though, at least when I compared pics of the Nitrodeck to the analogies controller on the right Joy-Con.

They releasesd the vast majority of the Neo Geo library, and the only remaining stuff is for games they don't have the rights to such as Visco's games. Also, they've been regularly releasing Taito and Namco games if you've been keeping up with their releases, and they have a good chunk of Konami's and Sunsoft's games on the service. Capcom probably won't happen because they're releasing their old arcade games via Arcade Stadium, and Sega has M2 as their go to company for porting old games.

Also don't know why the author is saying TGM isn't confirmed for the West when most games in the ACA lineup nowadays are released globally on the same day, plus the announcement Tweet that the game was licensed to Hamster was in both Japanese and English

Remembering the time he reviewed the second Sonic movie, and claimed that most Sonic fans aren't kids and that none of the people who worked on the move knew anything about Sonic.

Also Arlo has pretty narrow tastes in games in general. I remember when they announced the Famicom Detective Club localizations, and he was really passive aggressive about it

I feel like some people in the comments are jumping the gun on that "In-Game Purchase" warning in the ESRB. For most of the Nintendo games, it usually meant DLC that comes out later, not stuff like Devil May Cry 5 with the in game items you can buy with real money. Plus I would think Kamiya would be against that idea

Just because you don't care doesn't mean no one cares. Yokai Dochuki was very popular in Japan when it was released, and is fondly remembered. I hate these takes from Western people who act as though if they've never heard of a game, the rest of the world doesn't give a *****

Like I said, outside of the big well known franchises from Nintendo and stuff like Castlevania and Mega Man, the Virtual Console sales were low for everything else, and even lower on the Wii U and 3DS, which is why they discontinued it. Not saying I agree with them doing that to be clear

I don't think a minute trailer is enough to conclude that anti-gravity sections won't be added to any of the courses. Also worth noting is that only half of the Retro Courses in the base game have the anti-gravity mechanic

The Wii U was a massive flop and the 3DS sales have been declining heavily since the Switch launched. I'm not happy about the store closing, but it makes sense from a business perspective.

I'm sick of people white knighting Sony and Microsoft when they're literally monopolizing the industry, and the former shut down their own Japanese studio while refusing to even promote independent games.

I don't get why people are surprised thay Nintendo are shutting down the Wii U and 3DS eshop, when the former was a total flop while the latter saw a deep decline in sales after the Switch launched, with this very site calling the system dead in 2019.

The Virtual Console isn't coming back. The reason why is because other than all the big name Nintendo and third party titles and the ocassional cult classic, everything else on the original Wii Virtual Console didn't sell well. Not to mention that apparently the Wii U (no surprise there) and 3DS Virtual Cosnole sales were also poor

The price should definitely be lowered to $30 or at least include GB/GBA games, but to compare Nintendo to EA/Activision, two companies known for the worst gaming businesses practices such as loot boxes and micro transactions over an overpriced optional online tier is ridiculous

That's literally how it works for games on PS+ that you can get - if you're not longer subscribed you lose access to them. I fail to see how this is any different
