All the warnings in Japan have been lifted and are now just advisories. Plus the Direct is pre-recorded so I don't think the tsunami would affect it. I could be wrong though

Not saying it can't be delayed because of it but apparently the damage has been minimal and no deaths have been reported from it last I checked. In 2018 Nintendo delayed the September Direct out of respect for the victims of the earthquake.

We'll know soon if it's delayed a week

OK, so I did look up the Skill Up video on the game and did see the game running lower than 60 in the Jungle area. I still think people are overblowing this and not considering the entire game is about destroying ***** with voxels

I've watched the preview videos - the worse drop was for a second during a destruction challenge and the player spamming Pauline's voice. Afterwards it's fine

DK Bananza has fully destructible environments and targets 60 FPS while Knack doesn't and struggles to maintain to maintain 60 FPS even on PS4 Pro, even though from what I've seen of it it's a standard platform. And it's a launch game as well.

Did you watch any of the previews? It looks like it plays pretty smoothly - I only saw one moment in a preview where the frame rate dropped it was a split second. It's not an Echoes of Wisdom situation

As opposed to Microsoft, which is laying of thousands of employees for AI gaebage or Sony that shut down Japan Studios, makes boring open world games and refuses to develop or promote anything that isn't a AAA title, even their own franchises like Patapon or Everyone's Golf? Nintendo's not perfect but I prefer them to Sony/Microsoft

DK Bananza runs at 60 FPS and outside of a few minor issues mentioned in previews looks like it runs pretty smoothly, outside of when there's a ton of stuff going on with the destructible environment.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is another voxel game and it can struggle on consoles and the Steam Deck with very complex user created towns from what I've read. And like others said Knack struggled to run on PS4 too.

You're dooming about a game that literally isn't out yet because a developer said that there may be a framw drop or two during certain intensive moments of the game. And from looking at your comment history you seem to be almost entirely negative

The Switch 2 launch hasn't been perfect but it feels like ever since the price of it and MKW was revealed people have been looking for every possible opportunity to find the smallest issue to blow up into a big issue like the people in the comments who think the game is going to be unplayable.

Ever since the Switch 2 Direct happened it's been absolutely nothing but rage bait coming from the gaming community and news outlet about every single thing Nintendo does. People are acting like it's ***** armageddon for Mario Kart World when the reality is most of the player base isn't going to give two *****, just like how people ended up buying Mario Kart World anyways despite bitching about it being $80. I'm just ***** tired of the non-stop anger all the time in this community

Yes third parties are gonna abandon the Switch 2, the fastest selling Nintendo console of all tome, because ports of old five year old games people already bought didn't sell well.

Mat Piscatella say the third party unit share of physical software is 40% while during the Switch 1 launch it was nust 20%. Also is this counting digital sales or only physical?

Mattick's Xbox One literally required you to be connected at all times to be able to play games. You can play your Switch 2 offline after the update.

They've already announced the ACA Neo Geo games are being patched to run on Switch 2 so I think the rest of the
Arcade Archive games with issues will be patched as well - Hamster is pretty good about that stuff

The people complaining about the price seem to forget that Hamster isn't a big company and that they do these releases on a weekly basis. The price increase could be because Nebulas Ray is a 32-bit game and require more work to port. Honestly I'd give them my money over a lot of other companies

Why would a developer take a hit with performance without Game Chat on just to make sure their game isn't laggy with game chat? You could have better performance with it orf or take a hit to use game chat

And you have no proof that the 3GB of RAM that's for System Reservation doesn't include Game Chat. The DF video didn't really even cover this topic much at all and didn't say of it was/wasn't part of the System RAM

You can still redownload 3DS and Wii Ugame bought off their eShop, you just can't buy anything on there now.

Also, like it or not physical media doesn't last forever either. Eventually the game cards will fail and you will have loss your game. The only way to promote preserving games is through piracy and emulation

Playstation has been using the same naming scheme for the past 30 years and it's never failed them. Also I'm not sure if non-gamers even really care about the game key cards - just seems to be something I see talked about online and nowhere else

The Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077 is only $10 more than tbe PS5 and Xbox Series X versions, same with Rune Factory. It's literally the exact same strategy PS5 and Xbox does with last generation games. So yeah I do think the big third party publishers are being cheap

The problem with that argument is that Marvelous and CD Projeckt Red are releasing their games on standard cartridges - they're not small studios but they aren't as big as Capcom or Sega who could afford those cartridgrs

It's not Nintendo's fault that other publishers are cheap as ***** - Marvelous and CD Projekt are putting their games out on a cartridge, and those games are probably bigger than stuff like Puyo Tetris 2 and Bravely Default.

Also not every game is $70
