We've just received word that Namco-Bandai's new Wii title The Munchables has just shipped to North American retailers. That means the game should be on store shelves by tomorrow morning.
The game looks to continue to wacky tradition of the Katamari Damacy series with it's over-the-top visual flare and zany musical score. Of course the 'eating everything in sight' style of game play goes hand-in-hand with the Katamari series as well.
Below is a copy of the official press release from Namco-Bandai that gives a bit more information into the game and we've also put up a brand new batch of amazing screenshots of the game in action on the game page for you to check out.

Definite buy for me. Pac-Man + Katamari Damacy = win.
I'll be reviewing this bad boy and while it looks a bit strange, I'm oddly excited about giving it a go.
I had NO idea this was coming out so soon...But I bought Klonoa the other day, so NamcoBandai already got my money, and I'd rather have my $30 go to a possible Klonoa 3 =P
$30 is not a bad price, but with Punch Out, Wii Music and Majora's Mask all competing for my attention right now...I may have to hold off. I hope it does well, though, and if it gets good reviews maybe I'll pick it up with Ghostbusters...
Is this gonna be worth it? Definitely looks interesting. I am a huge katamari damacy fan. I just bought punch out on Sunday though.
Where did this come from?! I'll be passing on new retail games for a while since I am back to loving my PS2 with MG3, GoW2, and RLH.
I'm very interested in it, but I admit that not only am I putting this off for a long time because I'm so swamped already, but even if I weren't swamped I would probably put it off. Just seems like a $15 sort of game.
Hmm, I don't know what to make of this game yet but it certainly looks interesting. My curiousity is definitely peaked but I think I'll just wait for the review for now.
I remember reading about this game a good while back and then I sort of lost track of it. Too many games, too little time. I'd better get to it quickly before the review copy of Legendary Starfy comes in early next week.
We have to wait for the end of June in Europe, according to Amazon, but I'm definitely interested to see that review!
The pictures alone caught my attention and I don't even know what the game is about yet. I'll check it out if it comes to Europe.
This is one of those games I'd have to see a review for first.
this is a surprise. I really enjoyed The Maw, looks similar.
I need a revw, I can't get a feeling of how good or bad this game will be at all.
BTW, isn't Damacy on DSiware in Japan?
