Re: "Ninja Gum Action" Title Ninjala Sure Does Remind Us Of Splatoon

@RPGamer @Kalmaro If done right, microtransactions will only be purely cosmetic, thus not giving you any ingame advantage. This works well for games like Fortnite, Smite, Paladins, etc.. Don't really see a problem with it nor a reason why people should lose interest once they've heard free to play mentioned

@Zeldafan79 Yes, I didnt like what Rian did with Luke, but that wasn't really why I disliked the movie. TLJ was a horrible movie in temrs of plot. Nothing really happend in the whole movie. It was bassicly two hours of people stucked on a ship, while Finn was running around with his new sidekick in a sidestory that was quite pointless, and then those on the ship just yeeted through another one that was standing infront of them the whole movie, thats literaly it. The whole movie was bassicly a 30min plot stretched into two hours. I heard someone say that TLJ could have been an ending scene of the force awakens and I think it is fitting. JJ Abrams had a difficult job doing The Force Awaknes but i was satisfied with it at the end. I thought he built a soild foundation for a new trilogy to be build upon. Then Rian Jhonson came, gave us a movie that could have been a 30 min episode in Rebels or some other show and now JJ Abrams has to end a trilogy that did not even had a proper second movie. He has to wrap things up after a movie and a half. And I am being generous with the "half".

@tameshiyaku I disagree mate. I love the witcher books, its a good old fantasy, just pure fun. I expect the same from the show that is based on those books tho some changes are to be expected of course. I don't want to have current issues shoved down my throat when I just want to relax watching something after a long day of work I do have a different sources for these things as do many others, noone really educates themselves on current issues via entertainment. If there is a great show about these things, not a single problem with that (the only thing I can think of of the top of my head is Black mirror that is toying with the idea of how destructive modern technology could eventually be to us) but I do go into those shows expecting that. If I go into a show like the witcher, I just don't want it to be too "woke" to make it feel artifical just for the sake of having it there, even tho it doesn't really make much sense from the plot point of view.

@Juma009 thats what happend to watchmen. It still is somehow a good show but seeing a „modern" problems put in it every now and then kinda feels forced and breaks the immersion for me for some reason. I just wanna watch a good show, if I'll have a mood for political stuff, I'll turn on the news.

@MrSoczek Well, strategy does help a ton but keep in mind its bassicly just a D&D game. So it really depends on dice rolls. Before every attack, your character rolls a dice and the attack efectivness is based on that roll. I'd say viable strategy is as important as a bit of grind to level your characters before challenging a tough oponent.

Re: Review: Boreal Blade - Challenging Freeform Swordplay Undercut By Technical Problems

Shocked that it got 6/10 when bigger craps got higher scores. This game is a brilliant competetive online game on the switch that fills the gap of no mount and blade. You can really see which game they were inspired by when playing and it just turned out great. Sure there is a long way to go still, but for what it is, its a lot of fun with a really friendly community.

People really need to give this a go. Get through your BR hate and just try this gem hidden in the Fortnite/Apex behemoths shadow.

@Itzdmo 1) Nobody cares about Switch players anymore.
2) HiRez is going to implement (if they did not so already in Paladins) voicechat into their games. You'll just need headphones with microphone that work with switch (you can find lists online)

Edit:
3) being on the Realm Royale Discord server and reddit, people there are actually quite thankful for new switch players. They are happy the playerbase will grow with yet another platform and crossplay and nobody really minds people playing on switch.

Re: For The King

@Ludovsky Well, it is difficult. Once your party wipes, you have to start over. Of one of your party members dies, you can ressurect him tho, you need to have atleast one hero alive not to lose. The difficulity isn't really unfair, to me it really captures the feeling of an adventure where you really have to think about your next step.

If you are worried about it being too difficult or punishing, don't be. You just can't rush things, that is about it, just take your time, level up your heroes, do not take high risks.

Re: For The King

@Ludovsky In short: Dungeons and Dragons made enjoyable on console/PC.

In this game, you create a party of three members. (You either play solo, controlling all 3 of them, or you can play both online and local coop with up to three people where everyone controlls their character). You begin with 4 classes and you can unlock additional 7 (you do that by playing the game, no microtransactions). At its core it is, as I mentioned, like D&D so it is rng based.

This release is the complete addition with two expansions that both offer a new map, class and its unique mechanics. In the Frost Adventure, you have to be careful as the low temperatures will damage your heroes at every end of their turn (unless they are placed in a city or a camp). The Into the Deep adventure is focused on a map with islands where you sail the seas and have to watch out for the Kraken that can surprise you and kill you or just destroy your boat which will get you randomly shipwrecked on land.

There is a lot I could talk about so I think it'd be better if you'd just ask for things you are interested in and I'll do my best to answer you.
