I'm torn. As much as I would love an Adventure remake, I think that some aspects of it need to be improved upon or changed entirely (such as Amy and Big's stories) simply to make it a better game. However, I would not be surprised if the second Sega shows off new features, gameplay, or really changes of any kind, the Sonic Adventure purists will have a heart attack and claim that Sega is ruining their childhood. I want to have faith that won't happen, but knowing the Sonic fanbase, you can never be too sure.
Astral Chain deserves all of its praise and success. I originally just bought it on a whim, because it kinda looked cool, and it ended up becoming one of my favorite games of the year, and possibly one of my favorite games of all time. It was my first experience with Platinum Games, and it definitely won’t be my last
Sonic X was just put on Netflix, maybe it’s a sign?
In all seriousness though, a new Sonic TV series, wherever it airs or whatever it’s inspired by is great by me, because I just really want more animated Sonic goodness (as long as it’s not inspired by Sonic Underground, that show can commit not exist)
@kenyowa I don’t think I would say it has the best soundtrack, while it certainly is excellent. If there was a category for best opening theme, it would definitely win (with regards to Astral Chain, of course)
Ideally, it would be an action-comedy with the artstyle of the recent shorts and the writers of Sonic Boom.
Although, the Sonic movie is made by Paramount, which is owned by Viacom, which also owns Nickelodeon. Just saying I wouldn’t be surprised if an animated series based on the movie was announced. I would honestly be okay with that, as long as it didn’t look low budget.
@nessisonett Nice to know I'm not the only one who never really clicked with SMB3. I really enjoyed what I played of it, but it never made me want to consistently return to it day after day until I've beaten it like World did.
I think my main problem with it is that it's levels are way too short. They all feature interesting ideas, but just aren't long enough to fully explore those ideas like World was able to.
The only Nintendo mobile game I've consistently come back to is Fire Emblem Heroes. All of the other ones I've played for an hour and never touched again. That includes Mario Kart Tour, and I doubt that's changing any time soon
Haven't yet have the chance to try it (and won't for a few hours), although if I had to guess, It'll probably say something about Super Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon Sword
Crafted World was probably the most forgettable game I played this year. That doesn't mean it's bad, it just didn't stick with me like pretty much every other game I played
There are so many games with amazing art and music on Switch that it really is sad that we still can't use them as themes. Seriously, all you need is a .png of the icon/box art and a .mp4 of a song from that particular game, and sell it for 3 bucks on the eShop. Easy money
Such a great decade, it's hard to choose. My top 5 (Nintendo only) consists of BotW, Smash Ultimate, Sonic Mania, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Super Mario Maker 2
@ALazyUsername128 not wrong, I've made it though most of the Battle Tower (doubles) just using a Dynamaxed Sir'fetched and whatever other Pokemon I feel like using, mostly a Swords Dance-using Dubwool or a Whimsicott
@Chunkboi79 Sadly, my Wii U disk drive no longer works, and the battery in my gamepad is basically nonexistent thanks to a stupid decision on my part (never order a 3rd party charger off of Amazon)
I would rather wait for a port than pay for repairs just to play one game
@personauser93 I can understand not wanting to associate with a particular fandom (get less weird looks from people that way) but a bad fandom or something getting to popular is no reason to stop enjoying something
Probably the only announcement that interested me during TGA. Truth be told, I when I saw the Switch logo and then the Square Enix one, I immediately thought it was Kingdom Hearts 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8 coming to Switch
With how hard it seems Stadia flopped and how little it delivered on what it promised (4K 60fps) on most games, it looks to me that the entire gaming landscape being cloud-focused is something we won’t see for many years to come

Re: Nintendo Forced To Offer eShop Game Refund After Russian Court Filing
@Koragi385 how does the digital Double Pack work, exactly? Does it give you both games under one icon or both games with each having their own icon?

Re: Pokémon Fans Remind Us That There Is Some Good Left In The World After All
I've already completed the Pokedex, so I suppose it wouldn't hurt to send out some of my rarer Pokemon.
As for the shinies though...
Even with the shiny charm, one still eludes me, so when I find one, it's gonna be all mine
I'm generous, but not that generous

Re: Deals: Official Nintendo UK Store - Last Chance For Next-Day Delivery For Christmas 2019
Am I the only one slightly bothered that they used Ash's Kalos design on that sweater?
I prefer that design over Sun and Moon's, but it just throws me off a bit seeing it in 2019

@MS7000 Exactly

Re: Nintendo Asks Fans To Share Their Favourite Switch Online Memories Of 2019
@MS7000 Splatfests were magical experiences, and managed to give an entirely unique feel to an already incredibly unique game
I'll miss them, even if I only won like, 4 of them

Re: One Of Pokémon's Largest Fan Communities Bans Dynamaxing In Competitive Matches
Competitive Pokemon is an insane mind game, and to me, Dynamax just increases the complexity of the game (in a good way)

Wonderful 101 was one of the only major Wii U games I didn't play, I hope we get it or a sequel on Switch eventually
Re: Random: Star Wars Director Appears To Use Pokémon GO To Comment On Angry Fans
I don't really wanna get into all of this, all I'll say is Sequel trilogy bad (minus TFA), Original trilogy and Prequel trilogy good
Re: Race To The Finish Line With This Stunning First 4 Figures Sonic The Hedgehog Statue
@RareFan personally, I'd take a mania-like take on Sonic Adventure over a Mania 2 at this point, kinda sick of Classic Sonic
