Headup Games is a publisher that made its Nintendo debut in this Wii U generation with the rather smart Typoman. The company is a prolific publisher on various platforms, and in pleasing news one of its closest new releases will also be coming to Nintendo's system.
The work of Lukáš Navrátil, Toby: The Secret Mine is a puzzle platformer that's previously come to smart devices and PC / Linux / Mac. It's actually rather reminiscent of Typoman in style, though the gameplay approach is a little different.
It's expected to arrive in January / February; do you like the look of this one?

Watch as sudden technical difficulties arise and it ends up being released on Switch.
No thanks.
Too dark.
I'm looking for colorful games.
Not this...
@KirbyTheVampire releasing on switch only CONFIRMED
Kind of a rip off of Limbo though?
Seems like a cheap Limbo clone at first glance. And that glance is all I shall afford it, for 'tis not for me.
Toby Fox, is that you???
Cancellation on Wii U and announcement of Switch version early next year, I'm calling it.
Hey, I already called Yooka-Laylee.
Bet you big that it will take the SWITCH!
Wii U, 2017?
Yeah, right, lol.
-Technical difficulties incoming-
Ripping this dark silhouette style over and over again is so ridiculous at this point that it physically hurts me every time I see another one. If you lack your own creativity to such an embarrassing extent, I have to question your decision making skills and hence your ability to make a decent game at all.
Whoooo the Wii u still has a pulse!!!
Wasn't Limbo supposedly releasing on Wii U at some point?
I like this kind of style and although it was made more popular by Limbo, it wasn't the first game to use it just the first to use it for the whole game (maybe not the first not sure on that one.)
It's been in other kinds of art for a long time. Plus it's a hell of a lot better than bad pixel art. Not disrespecting good pixel art but the bad stuff was never good, back in the 80's and now.
Plus this looks more like Badland than Limbo and the contrast between background and foreground is much better than Limbo.
Wasn't Limbo in the process of being ported to Wii U? What ever happened to that?
Looks like a Limbo clone. Doesn't look bad though. Why is there no music on the trailer?
Looks very similar too typoman, being from the same developers that is understandable but looks fantastic tho.
Graphically that looks like a kind of rip off of Limbo, Feist and Badland.
But Typoman was really great, so lets see how this will shape up!
Limbo was rated to come to Wii U a year ago, I wonder where in the world is that game and why Double Eleven has not released it. They were reportedly the responsible entity for the console ports.
