@invictus4000 Yea I love my 3DS... but it's time to move on. Or at least dedicate this Direct to everything Switch related for the next year. Later they can show the 3DS stuff in their bite-size announcements that they've been doing.

Ugh thank God! Maybe I'm greedy but after all this time I was hoping for an hour not 35 minutes... but oh well. With them saying that they "failed to show the appeal of the system" I'm REALLY hoping they come out swinging with a lot of info on what we know is coming out (but don't dwell too long dangit) and a lot of surprises. Just give me a variety of stuff to look forward to and I'm good.

@Anti-Matter @SwitchForce The brand's Unikeep and its not a zipper pouch. It's a little bit bigger than a DVD case. And yep it's not going to be as compact as the Hori case when it holds 60. It's portable enough for me and it's still nice having all my games in one case instead of 2 or 3. Just wanted to put it out there cuz everybody seems to think the 24 case as being the biggest.

There's also a cool one on eBay that holds 60. That's more my jam. So yea 2 is pretty ridiculous.

I'm all for puzzle games. Believe it or not they peak my interest more than any other genre. I can see myself geeking out on this...and that's a good thing.

Yea I love Nintendo Life but they really need to be clear with these Limited Run articles. The Collector's Editions only have a certain amount of copies so them selling out crazy quick is a given. All regular editions of Switch games have open preorder periods usually for 2 weeks. So if you want the goodies...be really really quick. If not you got time to get yourself a copy. I don't care about CE's so I love it, just order when I get paid. C'mon NL, clarify your articles!

in all seriousness...FINALLY!! Been holding off on both of these due to the price on other platforms and hoping they'd eventually come over to the Switch...now they do and they're both on a PHYSICAL BUNDLE?? Oh man awesome! Heard they had some performance issues when they first released so hopefully that's taken care of by now but still, I'm sure I'll have a blast with em. Along with the kiddos of course. Two of my favorite shows too. So much more than meets the eye. Quality programming right up there with Adventure Time. Woot!

Man, I am kicking myself for missing it on limited run. That and Flinthook. Those are some extra cherry physical copies I'd like to add to my collection. Excellent games too of course.

Great games! Something tells me I will purchase these on the eshop and then they'll be released physically. That's been happening a lot lately. Wish they could be released at the same time. Either way I'll be buying. Adventure games are my jam!

I'm sure somebody already said something to the same effect on here but this just makes me think there's gonna be a lot of RCMADIAX's...and that is very very bad.

Yea looks right up my alley. Day 1 for me. More and more I find myself the most entertained and pleased with puzzle games. Being a stay-at-home father of two I can't dedicate hours upon hours to a game. These little puzzlers are perfect. And maybe I'm just a little old and boring these days too. 😊

Do we know when Limited Run is going to be doing their Switch physical games yet? Can't remember reading when that was going to happen.

Ugh I'm all good with a hefty difficulty but man there's seems to be so many games that are extremely difficult just for the sake of it. Like some macho thing, which game can be the hardest?? That's not fun to me. If I choose the "brutal" mode that's one thing..

Kirby, DK, Adventure Time, Runner3, Dark Souls, Steamworld, Flipping Death, Owlboy...looks good to me. 😁

I LOVE adventure games so bring em on. I like taking in a good quirky story and solving puzzles at my own pace. My toe of game.

Sonic Mania was so good and well-received by both fans and critics alike that I really really really really hope it has something to do with a sequel or continuation of that. I'm sure there will be other stuff announced and that's great...but there really needs to be more of that.

Looks fun. I'm down. Hopefully it's less than 10 bucks though. Hate to say it but I could see it being another expensive one.

The only thing I've ever backed was the return of MST3K and I was pleased in every sense by my experience with that. Nothing has ever caught my attention so much for me to try my luck again and there's WAY too many horror stories out there so I'm good. Feel for the backers but oh well. That'll learn em

First thing I thought was at least there's not crap like on the Wii U. That got pretty embarrassing sometimes the "games" they'd let on the eshop. So I'm okay with it I guess, there's only quality (for the most part) on the Switch. Let's keep it that way. But if it's something else with NOA then Idk. Just my first thought

Kirby soon and Tropical Freeze...BOOYAH! I don't care if it's a port is on the Switch So it'll be even better. And Mario Tennis looks pretty fun. Never played Dark Souls cuz I'm not one for crushing difficulty but maybe I'll give it a shot. Hope we don't have to wait too long for a proper Direct but I'm def pleased with this "Mini". Oh yea Fe and Celeste too. Woot!

Love it. These type of quirky games are right up my alley. Perfect addition for the Switch. Keep the weird ones coming!

Good interview. Seems like they got the whole developing and publishing thing down pretty well. Good, fun games too. I haven't been disappointed with the one's I've bought so far so that's good. Keep it up!

I'd say it's a 7. Not mindblowing but definitely a fun collectathon.

Iwata was a special dude. And that quote is legendary...wish he was around to see so many people happy with Nintendo. His journey had to end with the debacle of the Wii U at max volume. I definitely miss his presence in the world of Nintendo. It was always a joy when a new Direct came out...even if I didn't care about all the games. He had a charm to him that's for sure..

Yea this looks really great. For the most part I suppose you need to dig the electro soundtrack and whole breakdancy-ness of the whole deal to have an interest in this one. I gotta say it's right up my alley. Looks like a lot of passion went into this project. Can't wait!

Yea I thought it was cool that the Switch did so well even without a crazy discount. I hope they got an equally excellent follow up year in 2018 planned. So far they seemed to have learned from the atrocity that was the Wii U release schedule. Can't have that again.

I have a blast playing one player, of course it's a lot better with another player but still. Love this game.

I cannot wait! Man, I hope they figure out a way to import tables from the Wii U. I've spent an awful lot of money on tables that I'd love to play exclusively on the Switch.
