Wow what a beautiful shop, I had no idea it exists! It reminds me of what Gamestation used to be like when I was little but even better, thanks very much for making this @Damo . I bet Stuart is thrilled that you did this as well seeing as Nintendo Life is so popular, I know he's got at least 1 new customer from it!
The fact that Rare used to buy their games from them is so brilliant, I hope Playtonic visit again to get their copies of Yooka-Laylee!
@Nintenow_89 Thank you! I'm surprised by that too, either it was a mistake to send all those to your Gamestop or maybe Nintendo Of America have made a lot of the special edition.
@Nintenow_89 I've phoned my local GAME and they said they only got 1 copy of the Fortissimo Edition which they've sold, but they might be getting some more on Wednesday so I shall be waiting with great hope!! Thanks again for your help
That's very interesting I love it when games have a particularly fasinating development, I admire them for not giving up on the game and for releasing something so immensely Japanesey everywhere as well!
I hope very much that it exceeds their sales expectations because Nintendo and Atlus deserve to be rewarded for being brave.
Hooray! As a big 2D Sonic fan, I have a good feeling about this game, lets cross everything and set ourselves up for a huge dissappointment I mean celebration!
@Nintenow_89 Oh thanks for that, hopefully here in England we've got the same thing going on at GAME (which is like our equivalent of Gamestop). I'll find out if my local one has it then, thanks!
I was interested in this when I first saw how stunning it looks, and now this trailer has made me want it badly! Does anybody know anywhere that still has the Fortissimo Edition? Sadly the Nintendo UK Store looks like it has sold out.
@ReigningSemtex Yeah I was on the GAME website yesterday and clocked it, I could've known a lot sooner if I'd seen your message before! Thanks for that it was nice of you to think of me, now we can have it at the proper price which is a nice result.
Those are both great stories! It's very heart warming to read that Dave's 3DS has helped him through his health problems, and Jose's struggle to get that lovely special edition Pikachu XL was definitely worth it, they're so nice!
@DiscoGentleman I can only assume his camera was hungry.
@Danrenfroe2016 Yeah haha lets all hope and pray that the real controller is nothing like this, otherwise Nintendo has got just a couple of months to design a whole new one!
To all the people who are saying it was so obvious it was fake: It's very easy to say that once you know it is!
@ReigningSemtex Interesting, they have Sin And Punishment 2 for something like only £12.75 so I bought that at the same time as pre-ordering Star Fox and it arrived today! There's no mention of The Hut Group on the jiffy bag but there is what I think is Danish writing on it so perhaps Coolshop are a Danish company. I wondered for a moment if it had come from Denmark but it's the UK Version of the game happily and I doubt it would have come this quickly if it wasn't already in England.
The other downside in addition to the higher price of not getting Star Fox from Nintendo is we miss out on that brilliant t-shirt! I'm hoping they'll sell it seperately when the game comes out.
@ReigningSemtex Thank you so much! I was gutted that I had missed out on the First Print Edition, but thanks to you mentioning that Coolshop had them (I had never heard of them) I've now secured one. Thanks!
I've never played this but I remember really liking the look of this and Kirby's Adventure Wii when they came out and I still feel the same way now. Lovely graphics too.
@liveswired I think you're jumping to some massive conclusions in your criticism of Miyamoto. The only time he has ever put a foot wrong was when he ordered for Paper Mario Sticker Star to be different to the previous games, yet somehow that one single mistake in over 30 years of games development has bizzarely earnt him a reputation with some people of being a 'meddler'. Every other contribution he has ever made to a game has made it better so I don't understand why all this negativity towards him has come about. There's also no reason to think he is losing control at Nintendo, he's Shigeru blimmin' Miyamoto for goodness sake, he will surely always have an input in what Nintendo do even when he's retired.
Also no offence, but I think it's utterly ridiculous to suggest that Nintendo don't have the technical expertise to make Minecraft.
That was a lovely speech by Reggie, he really described Iwata san perfectly. He was indeed unique. The company we Nintendo fans adore, is better off for having had the clever and ever so friendly Satoru Iwata be a part of it.
That's very sad news, I saw him on TV about 2 years ago, I can't think for the life of me what it was, maybe it was that best ever toys programme Johnathan Ross presented. At least he made it into his 90's, it's always nice to know a great person has lived a full life and he will be remembered forever. Thank you Ralph Baer!
Happy Birthday Donkey Kong Country! 20 years since the beginning of the beautiful partnership between Nintendo and Rare! What a golden era that was, I'll never stop hoping that Rare along with all the old teams come back one day.
I don't know if I'm the only one who feels like this, but I grow more and more resentful of the internet every day. If it wasn't for online multiplayer and youtube, I'd flat out hate it by now.
As a NOM and then ONM reader since 2004 (my first issue was given to me by Nintendo UK after I had written to them!) I'm absolutely gutted about this. I hope the brilliant Matthew Castle will do his best to try and get a new Nintendo magazine started!
I also can't help but point out Future's massive mistake in their official announcement, this magazine's history goes back to 1992 not 2002. Shows how much the bosses care.
Edit: Oh I just read that Matthew's gone to Official Xbox Magazine like the other ONM writers. Yuck!
I think it's wonderful that people are making brand new games for classic consoles, I love it! Good luck to these great guys I hope to buy this for my beloved Super Nintendo when it's finished!
Ooo interesting, they must have tried for a while to get them working. When both games are finished and there are no other priorities, maybe they could keep working on them to see if they can crack it!
@chacahut I'm afraid I found somebody else who needed a code before I saw your message, I'm very sorry about that. There's a thread in the forums at the top of the 3DS eShop section where you can hopefully find somebody with a spare code code though, good luck!
Wow that will be a fun feature to try out! Me and my friends probably won't ever need it but it will be impressive to see it in action.
@Bulbousaur Unarguably ha I like that, but yeah the Gamecube controller is so perfect for Smash Bros I wonder if Sakurai had involvement in its design seeing as Melee was one of the first games to be developed for the Gamecube.
@SnackBox Yeah I was surprised by the missing circle pad too! I wonder what it's like trying to control it with the top gone, not very comfortable I would imagine.

A magnificent creation! Now ask @Damo to get it organised that we get a video with it on as a free gift with the next issue of Retro Gamer!
Re: Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Switched Development Direction After Six Months
@faint Well yes quite I was just wondering who you were talking about with ''he said beyond Nintendos expectations.''

@Nintenow_89 Thank you! I'm surprised by that too, either it was a mistake to send all those to your Gamestop or maybe Nintendo Of America have made a lot of the special edition.
Re: Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Switched Development Direction After Six Months
@faint Sorry who said beyond Nintendo's expectations? I was just saying I hope the game sells more than Nintendo expect however many that may be.
Re: Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Switched Development Direction After Six Months
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Yeah it seems unlikely for a game like this to sell well but I'll keep hoping!

Re: Fooling The World With a 3D Printed NX Controller
I love watching laser cutters working, they're the bee's knees. I would have a lot of fun playing with his equipment (no rude joke intended).
Does anybody know why it sounds like he's scraping cutlery together when he adjusts his camera?
Re: Fooling The World With a 3D Printed NX Controller
@Spoony_Tech Yeah this is going to be such an exciting E3!
Re: Fooling The World With a 3D Printed NX Controller
Nicely done! It's as impressive as that Rayman Smash Bros hoax, it's all good fun! Thank goodness it's not the real controller too.

I'm pleased this isn't real

I completely agree though, there's nothing worse than having a spolier suddenly hit you in the face.
