@theadrock13 Although you're absolutely right that having a brand new Zelda this Christmas would be great for the Wii U, 2 years simply isn't long enough to create a game as huge as Zelda but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

As others have said, it's disgusting that Microsoft have said it's up to Nintendo to report these fake games. The Windows Store belongs to and is run by Microsoft, therefore it is their responsibility to manage what they are offering on their shop. The bare faced cheek they have is outrageous and it's just another example of what complete gits Microsoft are.

@Retro_on_theGo I understand what you mean but I would still consider A Link Between Worlds an original game even though it's a direct sequel to ALTTP, just like Majora's Mask is an original game even though it's the sequel to Ocarina Of Time.

This is very exciting, I feel more sure than ever that Majora's Mask 3D is coming!

This is great news, perhaps the advertising has been helping too, I've seen the TV advert for Wind Waker HD and the Wii U bundle more times than any other Wii U advert combined I reckon. It's a great advert too, I rush into the lounge everytime I hear it come on! (Although I do that whenever a Nintendo advert comes on because I'm an anorak!)

To everybody who's saying that a 685% is probably still a small number, that may be the case but whether the sales numbers are big or small a 685% increase is just as meaningful in terms of improvement either way.

@theadrock13 What's wrong with Nintendo taking more than 2 years to make the new Zelda? To make a game as huge as Zelda takes a long time!

It’s great to see more bundles getting made for the Wii U, and I’m really happy to see that they’re actually including the proper disc version in them instead of a download code or preinstalling it. I particularly love the Mario and Luigi pack, with both games being on the disc, you have yourself there a game that you can only get with the bundle which makes it feel all the more special!

Oh noes! Don't take it away Nintendo, how is Yoshi going to be fed now? Not to mention Mario looks great dressed as a chef. If that's not a good reason to fight for it to stay, I don't know what is!

I remember hearing about this game when it came out on Mega Drive, I think it's gigantically cool that they made a brand new Mega Drive game! I'll have to get this when I eventually get a MD but this new version looks great too, the mix of HD backgrounds and 16 bit sprites looks really nice.

@unrandomsam I've always felt that the Circle Pad feels really good quality. No offence intended but you must have been really rough with yours for it to wear out in 3 months!

Yeah I had assumed it would have the same battery as the normal 3DS, I'm not sure why people are moaning about it though because the whole point of the 2DS is to be as affordable as possible. As for the mystery of the battery life, I have cracked the case! I would love to say I'm some kind of Sherlock Holmes style genius but the truth is simply that Nintendo have put everything we want to know on their UK website (and all the others probably). This is what it says for battery life:

Nintendo 3DS games: 3.5h - 5.5h (3DS: 3h - 5h / 3DS XL: 3.5h - 6.5h)
Nintendo DS games: 5h - 9h (3DS: 5h - 8h / 3DS XL: 6h - 10h)

Something I can't work out: Seeing as the 2DS doesn't do 3D, why is its PEGI rating 7? Is Face Raiders too violent for a 3 rating lololol

As for the 2DS itself I can't help but like it, especially the lovely white and red one athough I'd miss the 3D, I think it's ultra cool and some kind of witchcraft!

@TheRealThanos Yeah I did think about the other version too, I guess another possible situation I didn't cover is that they might stop making the original Wii and horizontal sitting Wii, and just make the Wii Mini.

Going back to your run through of the different Wiis for a second, I don't think there's such a thing as a standing up design Wii that doesn't have Gamecube sockets is there?

Something I'm wondering though, do they mean they are discontinuing all Wiis, or just the original Wii with Gamecube sockets? As Samurai_Goroh pointed out, a Wii Mini Mario Kart bundle has just been announced for Europe so that doesn't imply it's being discontinued.

Something I've been thinking for a while now is that when the Mario Kart team finishes Mario Kart 8, it will be the perfect oppurtunity to make a new F-Zero! It just feels right, perhaps they could even use the Mario Kart 8 engine.

As for Wave Race, I believe Wave Race Blue Storm for the Gamecube was made by Nintendo's development team in America (called Nintendo Software Technology or NST for short), and they've not long finished the latest Mario VS Donkey Kong game so maybe they're freed up now to make another Wave Race which would be great.

@Bulby Yeah I admit three would probably seem excessive. If Majora's Mask 3D does get made though, and I still believe it will, then that Link will be back in the spotlight so it would be a real shame to not have him. Like you said before, a Fierce Deity Link Final Smash would be brilliant.

@Bulby In my opinion as long as they were all sufficiently different, I think it would be fine to have Young Link as well as the other two because if their moves were all different then they wouldn't be clones. Now that I think about it, it would be brilliant to have Paper Mario!
