Nintendo's Official UK Store Opens Up Star Fox Zero Pre-Orders

Already pre-ordered. I really love the look of the t-shirt. And only £49.99 for 2 games, a steelbook and a t-shirt seems like a steal to me

I wish we would get the steelbook here in NA.

That shirt is ugly, they should have reissued the Star Fox dog tags that were preorder bonus on Star Fox 64 3D (I have them).

First time I have ordered anything off the Nintendo site.

I'd love the design of that hat on a t-shirt. I don't think I've ever seen a nice piece of clothing on that store. It would be nice if they did some more subtle stuff, without logos emblazoned all over everything.

I would have preferred a more simple t-shirt with the Starfox logo on it; but hey. I'll take it. £49.99 is a pretty good deal, IMO

When I got an email earlier saying that pre-orders were open, I immediately clicked on the link. The bundle with the Amiibo and cap said it was sold out, so I went and pre-ordered the first print edition with the T-Shirt but was only available in a small size. I checked back on the website and now it's available and T-Shirt in all sizes?! Odd.

Nintendo NA needs to step it up

I received the email message from Nintendo UK Official Store saying that it was available at 6.03pm.
I had pre-ordered the item and received a pre-order confirmation email at 6.05pm...

Pre ordered but may get digitally once I have a better understanding of how My Nintendo works! Used to buy everything digitally back in the Premium promotion days, then that ended, and amiibo bundles became a thing....

That shirt is funny bad.

For someone who doesn't really wear the tshirts but likes them for around the house and to sleep in, I think it is awesome. So 90s. Id never wear it out but love that they went there....really...went...there

It looks like I'm in the minority here, but I really like that t-shirt design. I much prefer having a large image that takes up the entire t-shirt than for it to be a Star Fox logo.

I've preordered the standard game and t-shirt bundle. Project Guard doesn't look like I'll find it to be that fun, and I'm not bothered about the steelbook. Plus, when I preordered, they only had the t-shirt in my size available with the basic bundle.

Not keen on the shirt, but that leaves more for everyone else. Bought and paid for Starfox Zero before Christmas anyway, so it would be a bit pointless to order again. Project Guard might be a purchase, but I need more info. Plus, if it's a code for a digital purchase I want to know that I'd get the My Nintendo points, otherwise couldn't I just get it from the eshop?

That t-shirt is about the fugliest thing I've ever seen. The hat is pretty cool though.

I honestly like the t-shirt. It's garish and ridiculous and unique - rather that than a simple boring logo! Now I just need to get down the gym to fit into the Small size...

A plain t with a barrel role would have been nicer

First Print Edition has now sold out!

@Sakura The first print edition comes with a physical copy of Guard (as in actual disc) whereas all other methods of getting the game are digital.

It's a shame all the first print sold out already only other place I have seen it is coolshop and they have upped their price to £65 now 😢

I've gotta be on the side of those that love the Tshirt. That's legitimately brilliant. First time I've ever ordered something from Nintendo's store.

can somebody please explain what is supposed to be bad about the shirt? it's just the box art. is that bad now?

@Legromancer people really think that strangers will judge them for wearing a t-shirt or they just don't like how it looks though its probably the former.

Was out when i got the email about the pre-order. Ended up pre-ordering the £80 bundle in a toilet cubicle ahaha

IMO the T-shirt is god awful but each to their own! Have pre-ordered anyway.

Well that's frustrating. I'd like to get both games but I'm not paying more money for less stuff just because I didn't manage to order in the first 3 hours.

The T-Shirt looks good if you consider it as a pijama from the 80's.
The Star Fox Guard disc box contains a download voucher. Let's plant plastic all over the world!

Was worried when it said "More Info" instead of "Add to Basket" for the 1st Print edition, yet it allowed me to place my preorder.

Maybe it was like Project Zero where they staggered stock availability so scalpels don't horde the whole stock within the first 30 minutes.

I dig the t-shirt, but I usually prefer t-shirts that don't have the print all the way around it. I am more of a subtle type of person. Like it really matters though. I don't even like in the UK!

@Grumblevolcano Thanks. I thought about it, but as the other copy of Zero has been paid for already, I decided against it. I'll get it digital at some point if it looks any good. I was actually thinking that the whole purchase might be a mistake, given the delays, until the recent publicity made it look much better than feared. Feeling quite positive now.

Eh, the t-shirt is a little too "loud" for me. I like that hat, though.

FIrst Print editions all out of stock....typical Nintendo - the WiiU has bombed but they still can't print enough copies of the game!

Damn it, been checking this on amazon & game for the last 2 weeks trying to preorder it, now I've just seen its on the nintendo store and the damn thing is sold out!

Really hope nintendo get some more stock and re-open the pre-orders!

@JAG2045 I had exactly the same experience - except it was in stock when I checked but only with a small (S) t-shirt; I'd only just received the email from Nintendo so assumed it was a system error. Very disappointed to check again and see that it was sold out. Their loss to be fair, I'll wait for reviews now and possibly give it a miss altogether, or at least till it's cheaper. Shame though - and I liked that t-shirt too!

@Squashy no problem glad to have helped, I have only ordered something from them maybe once before but if I remember rightly it goes through the hut group and whenever I have ordered from Nintendo it has also gone through the hut so I assume it's all handled the same. Such a shame the nintendo site sold out so quick I was hoping to shave a tenner off (got the coolshop pre order for £59.99) cannot wait for this release now 😊

@ReigningSemtex Interesting, they have Sin And Punishment 2 for something like only £12.75 so I bought that at the same time as pre-ordering Star Fox and it arrived today! There's no mention of The Hut Group on the jiffy bag but there is what I think is Danish writing on it so perhaps Coolshop are a Danish company. I wondered for a moment if it had come from Denmark but it's the UK Version of the game happily and I doubt it would have come this quickly if it wasn't already in England.

The other downside in addition to the higher price of not getting Star Fox from Nintendo is we miss out on that brilliant t-shirt! I'm hoping they'll sell it seperately when the game comes out.
