>People who don't give a game a chance because it's not traditional controls.
-.- Seriously, the touch controls aren't that difficult. I use to hate Skyward Swords motion controls, but after a while, I enjoy them!
So yeah, I'm most certainly giving Star Fox Zero a chance. I just hope we can continue after the events of Command sometime. Better yet, make Star Fox have branched timelines.
I never had a problem with the touch controls. As what the user said above, it's fun mastering unquie controls like this that are non-traditionalI.
I've played the game using the d-pad and buttons to control the aircraft with the use of an Action Replay code. (Though, not perfect) It doesn't make the experience much better than the touch controls imo.
I'll always have a soft spot for this game. It's the game that got me intrested in the series again. I only played the SNES one in the early 2000's, so I didn't have much of an expectation when it came to this game. Though, looking back on it now.,,I cringe at a lot of stuff in this game now.
Its mutiplayer wasn't ground breaking, but playing againsts friends at school was always fun times.
Well speaking of expensive things being sold for cheaper then there value. I bought a Gameboy Player and its startup disc for only $13. The disc alone is sold for a much greater price then that... The seller would've had to have known about the startup disc is value.
Was originally for the N64, gets moved to Gamecube, later ported to the Wii, and is now getting an HD remake for the 360/One/PS4/PS3/PC. Yet, not for the Wii U? :I
Anyway, it's always cool seeing footage of stuff like this. I myself haven't played RE.0, so this will be a good time for me to get into it I suppose.
I just knew I should've held out on Shantae....as I only got 2 hours into the game. (Reason being, I'm trying to finish up the original) 25%off was still okay, but this is a better deal....
I'm getting it from Play-Asia if you can use the thing for any region 3DS. I would upgrade to a N3DS, but there's just hardly anything that really intrest me for the N3DS besides the amiibo function. Put some VC games that only work for the N3DS (like GBA games, apparently) and more N3DS only games, then I'll have a real reason to invest in the thing.
Though, I guess having a c-stick would be nice if I played games like MH4, but I don't.
Of course, I'm still wanting an online multiplayer that is similar to Assault.
Anyway, co-op still sounds like a good idea. Though, I would like it to make sense like how you have a pilot and a copilot in said aircraft. You know, your short shot guy?
Was really holding out cuz was hoping they would possibly discount all the games, but I guess that's not the case.... Didn't have enough for Super Mario 3D Land, so decided to spend the rest of my coins on Super Mario 64 and Zoda's Revenge Startrophics 2.
Anyway, thanks for the experience CN. Glad I could express my feelings about the games I played through the use of surveys. And got some pretty good games out of it. Just wish there were more variety in physical items as I very rarely had any interest in them. TFW no FE stuff.... At least I got a cool Smash Bros soundtrack out of it.
I emulated this game on my iPad and was pretty enjoyable. Sadly can't do so anymore, so I would love it if this was put on the eShop as I'm sure it can use the Gamepad gyro. (and 3DS if possible)
Good game, but....ehhh.... not crazy about something that has already been digitally released before, much less been remade. Good for those who wanna upgrade it to using restore points and stuff, of course.
If they can't get Star Fox Snes to work out, why not port the game instead? Like what they did to Yoshi's Island for the GBA. That way, you can fix up the FPS drop sections. (which was most of the time)
Fans complaining fans complaining... Everyone complaining had their expectations way, waaaay too high!
Was it because of Sony presentation of things like The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy 7 remake? Or how Mother 1 was getting internationally released got you that illusional?
I wanted a new F-Zero and Sin & Punishment, but I hardly expected those regaurdless of the amazing reveals that were happening.
I'm oneof those people that actually enjoyed playing Assault and this was after I played things like Star Fox, and 64. Yeah, it had few on-rail missions, but to me, there were plenty of opportunities to fly around in an Arwing in the game. So yeah, something like similar to Star Fox 2, or Assault would be great!
@Tank207 I'm thinking those were just placeholders, as most squeals tend have have stuff from the previous games in early builds. I agree, though, I would be disappointed if it was a simple SF643D in HD thing.
You Metroid fans are still lucky it hasn't been a decade for you...
F-Zero still my most sought after franchise for a new game every, bleeping, year...
I was very indifferent with the whole amiibo thing as the things they did didn't interest me much and it looked sooo ridiculous to try to obtain certian amiibos.
I've now recently bought 2 amiibos (Fox and Captain Falcon) for around $20-$23 and while that is still pretty decent as both are kinda rare, I'll be holding out for Robin, Marth, Lucina and Ike as I'm not that desperate for these.
Why was the average donation a $9.20? Those people could've paid 0.80 cents more for 5 more games!!! :I
Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed in these new additions as I already own Bit Trip Runner 2 on my 360 and got Gunman Clive when it was new.
At least I can give 'em away.
Btw, it's important to note that you shoukd give one of your OliOli codes away to some one. OlliOlli has the crossbuy thing going on.
Very good to hear.
I paid $10 and don't regret it one bit, though, I'm wondering...could I add more $ to that later if I want the next batch of indie games? I would've given more if I knew about the next batch beforehand. I'm assuming you have to purchase the whole bundle, again. Dang it.
@liveswired I have component cables for my Wii and Star Fox 64 and its nice, but I'm still more for the orginal art style. S-Video definitely good too for older games. And about you statment on SF2 being 10fps...most emulators struggle with FX chip games. Try Star Fox 2 on higan. It's a lot smoother.
"The series was never intended to be limited to linear 3D scrolling stage."
I wish more people would see it this way. While not linear thanks to the branching paths, many think Star Fox should always be like Star Fox 64 which I disagree.
Anyway, this was very informative to read. Hopefully one day we will get to play Star Fox 2 legitimately and its true form.
If only they had some Fire Emblem stuff...I would be all over that, but since I'm not a big MM fan I might not wanna get the jigsaw puzzle and I can't afford the bag... What to choose what to choose...maybe I ahoukd wait and see if they mark 'em down again.

Re: Review: Star Fox Command (Wii U eShop / DS)
@Dpishere You could somewhat use standard controls with the use of an action replay.
Re: Review: Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising (Wii U eShop / GBA)
Duel Strike would be another good one to put on the eShop.

Re: Video: Capcom Shares Footage of Resident Evil 0 N64 Prototype
@Monsti Wasn't it going to be for the N64dd? Would explain why the prototype looks pretty good for an N64 game.

Lets us see how this games sells in NoE & in Japan first.
Kinda depressing if the game is really not that good...then the game will most likely not get brought here by any publisher.

Still would like F-Zero though.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo NX Won't Be As Powerful As PlayStation 4
The standard controller should be a traditional controller and have analog L & R triggers again. After all, that's what the new F-Zero probably needs.
Re: Hands On: Blast Ball Brings Crude Button Mashing and is a Poor Advert for Metroid Prime: Federation Force
Star Fox Command is like Metroid Other M. Its gameplay was good, but story wise...

Re: 30th Anniversary Super Mario Concert Comes to Japan this September
Still would be amazing if there was something special like this for F-Zero as well. It is going to be its 25th Anniversary soon....
I'm slowly accepting the fact there won't be any acknowledgment...
Re: Reminder: North American Club Nintendo Rewards Will Disappear Very Soon
@LacquerHead How? Don't you have to be friends with the person? You also don't have any post. My name AirshBornely.
