@Savage_Joe Good call, so take no action because you can't influence everything equally at once without some troll on the net thinking you're a hypocrite, got it.
Nobody considers their sphere of influence, anymore. So should I not give money to a homeless guy, because I can't solve world hunger with just that action? According to your logic, it's the same as wanting to boycott one country vs another.
Seriously dude, your hopeless mindset doesn't need to be thrust upon others.
@Bobb Exactly, the color scheme is just way off. I found it was hard to focus on Samus in the darker environments. They forgot that the orange makes her pop for readability.
The Dread and Fusion ones reek of some desperate attempt at making Samus appear to be more anime. By far her worst looking suit to date. Metroid 2, Super Metroid and MP nailed her look. This list is bass ackwards
Fusion suit is just some formless, generic blob. Dread suit makes her look like a combat medic rather than her usual bounty-hunter self.
@Vexx234 Everyone's gonna jump down your throat about it because they're fanboys, but there's no denying that MP's greatest weakness is it's excessive backtracking. People forget what a first playthrough is like in this thing. It's a densely packed game, coming from a time before fast travel conveniences. Having the ability to quick save would essentially solve that aspect, and they should have considered adding a fast travel mechanic, as well.
Anything that fits in one's pocket like the GBA SP is the best. Switch is far too delicate for ease of transport. Probably good for a train/plane trip with a good case and backpack, but the SP is superior, in that regard.
Eh, I’ll stick to the greats: Castlevania and Metroid. I tried HK but it wasn’t for me. When you’ve been playing this genre for 30+ years, games like this just feel like retreading the same ground. Must be grand for people new to the genre though!
@k8sMum Off topic or not is up to the site, and they set it up pretty easily by writing articles that are easy enough to follow to be able to stay on topic. Go argue with someone else, please, I'm enjoying my Sunday
@k8sMum It's not my opinion that the post is off topic, as is yours.
Back on topic: Again, I'm very interested in hearing more to this story, since it will shine light on WHY the threat was made, which is an immensely important detail.
@Vexx234 If you cut off the comments, the only things left would be the articles, so it makes one wonder why you visit a site that you believe has boring writing.
@quinnyboy58 It's a comments section. Your free speech is safe regardless of if it exists or not. In fact, the comments section does less for your free speech, because this is a place that your speech can be moderated in a way that goes above the law of whatever land you live in. If you want free speech, don't look to places that moderate what you say.
@Vexx234 There are plenty of other avenues with which to share ones opinions, many of which are more actionable and useful than this one. This site's comments section isn't serving a purpose other than to generate extra clicks per article from repeat visits. Shutting it down would be great for everyone's headspace, so that we can just focus on the articles without needing to read the vitriol that people cook up, here.
@AngelSlayer I'm not looking for justification. I'm seeking better understanding. There's always at least two sides to every story. Put away your pitchfork. Anger is a cry for help.
I wonder if she worked for Nintendo, and had bad relations with this exec. The above poster is asking the same thing that I have on my mind, so I echo those sentiments. Japan still treats women like second-class citizens in some aspects of their culture, so I would be interested to hear the other side of the story.
@B3RTAY At this point, you're just trying to say anything that would be the direct opposite of whoever you are speaking with. People don't just get handed being in game credits. They put in work to get there.
Seriously, @ Nintendo Life, you should just shut down your comments sections on all future articles. It's just attracting pointless trolls and incessant arguing. This place used to be so cozy.
@DiggleDog Look at Gamespot’s side by side comparison, it’s a great way to see the changes. The difference between the Gamecube to the remaster are substantial!
Honestly, I'm really glad they are doing just the one release instead of the trilogy. And it looks like a PROPER remaster, so it will be worth it. The other two games were copy/pastes of the first, and the first game basically nailed it for me so there's no point in grabbing the other two.
My final two cents for today: If you truly enjoy and value the time, work, and skill that a dev team puts into their game, then you'll support them at their asking price. If you don't want to support the dev teams you love, then you won't buy at their initial asking price.
@Rykdrew I've gotten 700 hours out of Elden Ring, so far. If they had asked $70, that's still a steal for the amount they are asking. 700 hours of movies would cost exponentially more; consider that we are still enjoying a hobby that is cheaper than many others, comparatively.

Re: Saudi Arabia's PIF Is Reportedly Now Nintendo's Biggest Outside Investor
@Savage_Joe I don't think you know what people on this website actually think, and you are continually proving that fact to us.
Re: Saudi Arabia's PIF Is Reportedly Now Nintendo's Biggest Outside Investor
@Bratwurst35 I think you're taking the conversation in a different direction, so I'll leave you to your thoughts. Thanks for the reply.

Re: Saudi Arabia's PIF Is Reportedly Now Nintendo's Biggest Outside Investor
@ComfyAko Interesting. Well, I boycotted Nintendo last year, so it's a non-issue for me anyway.
Re: Saudi Arabia's PIF Raises Stake In Nintendo For The Second Time This Year
Why does it matter how much stock Saudi Arabia has in Nintendo?
Re: Talking Point: Which Nintendo Console Has The Best First-Party Games Lineup?
Nothing interesting about Switch first party titles. Nintendo's Golden Years have come and gone! SNES babyyyyy

Re: Review: Tales of Symphonia Remastered - A GameCube Classic That Shows Its Age On Switch
@OrtadragoonX Nice, I never tried that one, glad to know they fixed it at some point in the series!
Re: Review: Tales of Symphonia Remastered - A GameCube Classic That Shows Its Age On Switch
Every Tales game I have ever tried feels stiff and has awkward writing. It’s a series staple.

Re: Video: MVG Investigates Switch Online's "Impressive" Game Boy & GBA Emulation
@Pigeon Such a powerhouse, the Switch, emulating Gameboy titles. Might melt the processor down if they aren't careful!
Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Metroid Prime Remastered
@Savage_Joe Good thing it’s not up to you to decide what’s important to the dev or not 👍
Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Metroid Prime Remastered
@Savage_Joe The dev had a perfectly reasonable reaction, and it was warranted, since they were the person that put together those assets.

Honest question: What's the point of backpacking in a place if you're just going to ignore your surroundings with a Switch Lite?

How does this release handle the extras that were unlocked from the GBA link?

$70 for the same, washed out looking, remixed OW Zelda game? Interesting choice, but we all know the masses will gobble it up, regardless.

@Riverlution Dude, Primehack is so damn good.
Re: Game Boy And GBA Coming To Switch Online Today
Gargoyle's Quest made me smile, nice to see it get some more love.
Minish Cap is ok for a single playthrough, but doesn't really bring much else to the table.
Re: Metroid Prime Remastered Confirmed For Switch, Launching Digitally Today
Updated controls? Nice. But I kinda already have that and am enjoying it on KB/M.
