Everyone saying ''Patch this out''.. in a way already is, they are not on the latest firmware, and if they did try to update it would likely kill the system.
It might even be close to impossible to get a WiiU with a old enough firmware to even use this guys method rendering everything done so far a complete waste.

I don't think this is too much to worry about, changing a little bit of text and music is still only about 0.0001% of what would be needed to be done for full tracks etc.

These guys are just still learning and it's a exciting time for them, I just hope they stay on the path of ''no cheating'' and I hope they don't accidently open up any back doors to hackers to totally trash the online side of things.

I can't wait for 2015, soo much awesomeness heading our way, the Nintendo Digital Event has given me hope again. Thank you NINTENDO!!! <3 Xenoblade, Zelda and amiibos will take my money and I don't even mind one little bit. xD

It's wicked fun, and i've missed a lot of MK over the years but catching up with this one is great! 9/10, I just wish Wildstar didn't come out around the same time, my sleep patterns are going to be horrific for the next year or two.... ><

Really hope it has some kind of town building / progression mode like in Dynasty Warriors 8's Ambition Mode that was heaps more fun then the usual.

@sillygostly Yeah Australia's rating system for games/movies is about 20yrs behind other developed countries, it sucks i've been trying to get all the old useless farts replaced but Australia just doesn't care or is ran by to many old timers.

I was going to pass this up until a closer look, it looks like a crazy mix of a old school scrolling shooter with platforming, prety awesome combo that i'm willing to give at least one shot. xD

This would be awesome to see on my WiiU, i've always loved the DQ series.

Ah well, Street Fighter II is 5000% better then mortal kombat anyways. So he can do w/e he wants with his crap.

This is one of those you had to be there moments, you guys will mostly never ever understand why Super Mario Kart was so great to all us that loved it. When it first came out there was nothing even close to being as fun of a kart racer around, so it blew everything outa the water. And the competition scene in this game was crazy we had huge gatherings of friends all racing all day every weekend on this game lol.

And Pfft it was easy to win against Ai if you don't suck at video games.

I give this review and most of it's comments a 1/10.

I want a hand held device from them that can be plugged into a PC at any time to play the same hand held games on my PC monitor and speakers, It also needs a 2nd anologe stick and full backwards capabilities.

Some of the most fun I remember having when I was younger was playing around with Nintendo Sticker Books and getting new stickers to put in it every week, as well as playing the Nintendo which most of these stickers were from and related too. If they can get back to this kind of thing i'd understand why.

And really they need to focus on their games like every one of them is Pokemon, I swear that's the only thing they really seem to care about at the moment from a marketing and word of mouth point of view. If they do this with more of their games things will be fine very soon.

WiiU needs it but we all know that won't happen, they will most likely show more support for the 3DS yet again... >< Looks at dust on WiiU

I was looking forward to getting this ASAP, i'm so disappointed now, why the hell is nintendo not putting 100% effort behind it latest console... I understand the 3DS is where they will get more money at the moment but at this rate the WiiU will turn into a rejected console that nobody will want nor give a flying crap about.

I love nintendo but seriously i'm starting to regret buying a WiiU. I thought hell if enough of us buy it early maybe Nintendo will get off their asses and put some effort into it and it would turn out to be as great as can be, clearly I was wrong.

I don't even like soccer/football but for some insane reason I find these kind of games fun... I can't understand why but i'll buy it.. xD

Not sure why but since this update my WiiU has been freezing over 50% of the time and refusing to connect to my local area network vid streams that I used to watch flawlessly until now via a LAN website with mp4 streams.

Can't wait for this one, loved the one on N64 and this reminds me of it in ways.

Looks promising~ Will have to try it out if it makes it to EU/AU eshop

Now finally WiiU's time to shine will come in, Year of Smashbros and MK8!!!!! That is all i've been waiting for the whole time i've had this WiiU. Can't wait~ Year of Luigi to me just felt like something to try distract us while they tried to finish the REAL games that should have been ready on release of WiiU.

I tried to play when I was really young, but was so lost and confused and gave it up prety fast. Stuff like secret of evermore and secret of mana got me hooked shortly after tho. Pity this could have been a great RPG too, but I duno something about it made it almost impossible to start out as a youngen.

Lol my god I can't believe this is still going on, but I guess it's great publicity for nintendo/pokemon and twitch.. which can't be a bad thing. xD

Interesting, can't wait to see if this strategy works when MK8 sales time comes. Hopefully we'll finally get all the people that were waiting for something outstanding to hit the WiiU to finally upgrade.

They gave us nothing but delays delays delays oh and projects missing online mode and other main functions, they expect us to buy the sht after others been playing it for a few weeks to months already.... GTFO Ubi~

I live in Australia too, and we did this when younger, me and a mate built our own ones but I think ours were better tbh lol. We had ropes attached to where they use their feet to steer so we could steer with our hands at least. xD

But haha good on them, good times.

I admit it felt a bit odd at first, but after getting used to it over time it feels wayyy better now, and the offscreen gaming is wicked.

If they make another Mario Party and put it on WiiU i'll buy it 3 times! I honestly can't believe they put it on the 3ds only instead of doing a WiiU/3DS release. QQ Maybe next year.

EA games needs to stop copy pasting so much game code then changing rosters and trying to tell us they made something new... So fail. I havn't seen anything original from these guys in almost a decade.

Perma death is great, I hope more games take this kind of approach, fully randomly generated and/or perma death is always sooo fun.

I was starting to wonder if they'd given up, but i've got some hope again now. xD

Don't get me wrong tho I love nintendo, just wish my WiiU got to see the kinda play time my 3DS does.

WiiU + Decent PC = Perfection~

I personally think WiiU will do a lot better once it gets it's act together and releases some of the bigger games (Smash Bros, Mario Party, Mario Kart, New Zelda, ???Pokemon Snap???/Pokemon related game).

They really just released the console like a year to early nothing game wise was ready for it, and this is what happens when you have a awesome product that plays nothing awesome... gives it more time

That's a store that Sony has given contracts too, they have purposely asked store retailers to say there is no difference in wii and wiiu so that it has a hard time selling so they can sell their own systems soon, i've seen this exact situation already at least 50 times over the last few months, someone really needs to do something about it. Isn't there a watchdog thing that can get on that shady tactics and punish them... ? ><

Another case of small dev teams trying to get a little bit to much out of Kickstarter, it's called kickstarter not 'we will fund you for life starter'.

Like 95% of songs have dirty underlying meanings and just chicks singing about their chachas. I thought everyone already knew this, any music can be bad, but to be honest when younger you don't really pay much attention to the lyrics meanings you just go with it to the beat. lol

I got super lucky while hatching eggs, but I think pulling the 3ds apart is a bit to far lol. I'll stick to normal play. xP

I must say I bought windwaker and I love the graphic style they went with.

Not to say all experimenting will work, but windwaker definatly worked.

Honestly ever since hearing about playstations backstabing ways paying retailers to avoid selling WiiUs in place of their products. I don't trust anything that pits Nintendo against anything anymore, Nintendo's to upfront and nice to do the same scumy tactics and ends up looking bad.

But we all know Nintendo is the winner~

The graphics look beautiful! Can't wait to see it first hand.
