@vincentgoodwin thank you, nice to see some facts around here and not incessant (and annoying) speculation. Also worth mentioning is the fact that NX was only mentioned because it was in tandem with the DeNA announcement, so the haters would be convinced they would be going full mobile. They were in a lose-lose situation really, but that's the internet for you.
@TwilightAngel who are, Square Enix? Because they're 'thinking about' porting two games to the NX? You're right, how could I be so foolish! It's been there for so long, what was I thinking? Screw Starfox Zero, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Tennis Ultra Smash, SMT X FE, Fatal Frame V,, Yoshi's Wooly World, Mario Maker and Zelda U (along with several Wii U games I haven't bought yet). Dragon Quest XI might be ported to NX guys! Stop playing your Wii U and Splatoon and stop being excited for loads more Wii U games because the NX is almost here!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hugs and kisses everyone and thank you Square-Enix for helping me see the light.
@vitalemrecords I'm just showing you the support the Wii U is getting, I said MOST of those games are out by the end of the year how is that hard to comprehend? Yeesh calm down dude, you don't need to attack people for showing you how you're wrong. There's 6/7 really good Wii U games coming out before the end of the year, already two, likely 3 (Pokken) next year, is that not enough for you? And as people have pointed out the damn NX hasn't been announced, you've got a Codename and a hell of a lot of rumours, that's it. Enjoy your Wii U dude, I sure am, and Nintendo sure aren't abandoning it.
@pherret022 IX really was a great game, I just hope the reversal of the numerals won't mean a reversal of quality lol. I'd love to play that game again.
@Grumblevolcano have to agree with you there, this negativity has gone beyond getting on my nerves. Nintendo could showcase Zelda U, a new Metroid game for Wii U and many others in their next Direct and the haters would still come out with the same rubbish. Just leave the Wii U alone if you hate it that much, I'm tired of pointing out how the Wii U's lineup is more than satisfactory as is.
@Grumblevolcano yeah OK then, I won't count Zelda U for Wii U. I mean, it's not like Miyamoto and Reggie have said they've seen it recently on Wii U and it looks great. Thanks for clearing up the issue, there was absolutely no indication that Zelda U is a Wii U game, but you've proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that Zelda U U U U U U U is in fact an NX game, and not a Wii U one. I'm sorry but sarcasm aside that might be the most stupid things I've ever read on the internet, I'll give you Pokken, albeit there's absolutely nothing that says it will never come to Wii U but are you for real? So when the Zelda U trailer is shown in the next 6 months I can't get excited for buying it on my Wii U? Even if it is confirmed AGAIN to be a Wii U game will you be there to tell me it doesn't count? Because I'll look forward to it.
@vitalemrecords I said most of them are coming out this year, you can include Fatal Frame to that list, then you have Pokken Tournament, Zelda U and SMT X FE which I'm very excited for, so that's what 9 or 10 already confirmed? And Nintendo are supposedly the bad guys here for abandoning their system? Never implying you were a hater by the way, I've already identified who they are in this site, just wanted to point out that a company already planning to release 10 games for the system they are 'abandoning' doesn't add up to me, particularly when if the NX launches late 2016 that's 4 solid years, which isn't quite the same as abandoning in a 2 year lifespan as you said.
Sounds like Square got their wrists slapped by Nintendo for the NX part of this announcement. But still I'll jump on the bandwagon: NX 2016 confirmed, Wii U dead R.I.P, Zelda U NX confirmed, Nintendo 3rd party confirmed, Nintendo R.I.P confirmed etc...
@vitalemrecords this is Square-Enix bud, they're kinda a different company entirely, who don't give a crap about Nintendo, its fans or the Wii U. Nintendo on the other hand are already confirmed to be releasing, what, near a dozen great games still to come on the Wii U? Most before the end of the year? Kinda got your facts mixed up I reckon.
@Geonjaha Dragon Quest... Dragon Quest everywhere. And here I was calling Square Enix the Final Fantasy milking devs. Though I'd hate to be the party pooper, but with SE especially when it comes to this series, we could be waiting a long time for these games. That's why I'm not really worried about the Wii U, even if DQXI comes out next year, chances are SE will have no problems doing a port if the NX launches later than that, so again people are being a bit presumptions saying this is a sure fire sign that NX is launching next year, definitely thickens the plot, though.
I don't think there's even a single doubt that Smash will be on NX, and it will be integral, and amazing. Nintendo seem content with the current ones for now, which is god because as am I and I won't stop playing them for a long time, so we might be kept waiting for a while. The possibilities they have though really are endless, I'd love to see what more 3rd party content they could bring on board, though of course nothing OTT or from EA, Ubisoft (except maybe Rayman) and the other scummy ones. And is it possible to be excited about it just for one character? I believe Splatoon and the Inklings have come a little too late for the latest Smash games, even as DLC, but they are certain to be in the next ones, and they will be probably the best new addition to Smash pretty much ever for me. Already excited!
Would anyone recommend Tomodatchi Life at that price? I'm a big Animal Crossing fan, and I tried the demo for this game and really enjoyed it, just waiting for a good discount since it's over a year old, I'm really tempted by that £25.
@arnoldlayne83 "in all honesty for us users it would be great if Nintendo became 'just' a software powerhouse" speak for yourself bud, a large majority of people would recognise that that would be a very bad thing for the Nintendo brand, despite how oh-so-convinient it would be for you. Zelda and Donkey Kong on PS4? Mario, Kirby, Samus on Xbox? Yuck, someone give me a bucket.
@rushiosan ? Do you decide when/how people other than yourself find enjoyment? The Wii U's best game (IMO) released only a couple of months ago, and there are still at least another half-a-dozen great games on the way, don't know where your statement came from at all.
Great article, almost 100% spot on, but since I'm here before the haters, I'll just tell you how you can improve it to exactly 100% in their eyes in just 5 measly words: "It's the Nintendo fans' fault".
@FlaygletheBagel that's what I'm saying though, it's hypocrisy of the highest order. Nintendo have their faults, I won't deny that, but try and say that Sony, Microsoft or in particular the 3rd party devs like these are saints is just ludicrous. I know people who absolutely despise Sony in particular for their anti-consumer policies, and I can't blame 'em, I at least have owned all their systems bar the Vita but boy has it been a rough ride through the years. Here the Sony fans and Nintendo haters are though attacking us on a Nintendo site, believing the glory days of the SNES were the only times when it was good to be a Nintendo fan. Though TBF at least the industry as a whole was 1000000000000000000 x better back then, though the main contributing factor to that was the lack of greedy 3rd parties (and when Squaresoft/Konami made good games). But no I for one would have to wait for a major price drop before I pick up this game on my PS4, they're just nothing special at all, in fact, only 2 PS4 games I've purchase have been (The Witcher 3/Bloodborne). Maybe at £10 or something this time next year, that looks like all it's worth.
Slightly Mad Studios, EA, Ubisoft, Gearbox, Warner Bros, Sony, Konami, Microsoft, Activision and Square-Enix all walk into a bar, the Bartender says:
"Sorry guys you've got the wrong place, Homebase and their beds are round the corner for all you liars."
@LiamR ....O...K then... I'll be sure to hear whenever you decide to tell us, but just take this experience in mind, I knew you were telling the truth, but don't but your neck on the line about this unless you're 100% sure, as from where I am it still looks 50/50 as to whether or not NOA are publishing this or not.
@LiamR why don't you tell us a few details on NX now that you've been proved right? I, my dog and even Detective Gumshoe and his dog knew this game was bad from a long way away, didnt really need some 'inside info' for that.
For me a part of Nintendo has died today, a part that will never be the same no matter what happens in the future. But of course now is the time to look at the past, and respect his life's work. Yet to see one quote from anyone that knew him that is contrary to the way we as the public saw him. I'm extremely glad he achieved what surely was beyond even his dreams, but it still stings how he passed, and only a year older than my parents. RIP Satoru Iwata, if only for Earthbound, I'll always remember you.
@TheLastLugia I get that what was said was inconsiderate given the situation but please don't stoop down to insults it doesn't help the situation. --Jazzer
@ToxieDogg he's just an absolute low-life. Just the smallest amount of empathy, that's all I'd expect, imagine if he was your father, mentor, brother. Never mind the fact that he's a major part if an industry we all love and has affected us all, regardless of our personal ties to him.
@Ninstarkof this guy had a horrible last year or so, partly in thanks to people like you. He had a hard time in his job, then has this terrible illness which caused him to lose a considerable among of weight and affected his personal and professional life even more, then he dies suddenly, months after things were turning around for him. And what do you do? You hate on him and the people who respected him greatly. You're a despicable human being and I don't ever want to see you again.
@cdude there's a difference between voicing genuine disappointment (which I have no problem in and partake in quite a bit myself) and hating on every little thing the company does without fail and whining about it on a Nintendo forum, particularly the way they seem to enjoy comparing Nintendo to the other companies and treating them as inferior. Case in point, Stafox Zero is comparable to Indie games that are released on PS/Xbox. Another one, Xenoblade X sucks compared to the open-world games released those systems. They bring up those ludicrous statements about games that haven't released yet and they haven't played, and suddenly you're a 'fanboy' of you disagree with them. There is a way to voice disappointment, going around creating petitions is not the way to do it. Those people are the real tools.
Honestly ridiculous. The guy has left Twitter because he's apparently getting death threats. Like I said before, why this game? It looks bad, definitely not amazing, and yet haters caused all that commotion based off of what we now know was false information. Federation Force, Starfox Zero, NX God for the first time I'm actually worried about Zelda's unveiling later this year, these good-for-nothing jerks are going to ruin it, no matter how good it looks, just like they've done for EVERYTHING since E3. It's funny how most of the haters haven't commented here, I'm sure they will be back for the review if it gets less than a 7.
All these people saying Nintendo heard the backlash and decided to do a 180 lol yeah right, in that case Federation Force would've been cancled a month ago, Nintendo don't give a monkeys about some haters on Nintendo Life saying how Nintendo have fallen and how things were better in their day. Nintendo will keep doing their own thing and good for them, all this backlash is just pathetic now when even games like this cause a storm of hatred, I'm sure Nintendo have gone back to the drawing board with 'NX' because of Unseen64 and are planning to release a wannabe PC to compete with Xbox/PS just to satisfy the whiners. Come on Unseen64 give us something to laugh about, can't wait for his next statement that generates more than 100 comments here, perhaps people have learned their lesson, though I extremely doubt it.
I'll chime in and say BIS is by far the best in my opinion, and I doubt Paper Jam or any future instalment will best it, it was the complete Mario and Luigi experience. Though PIT is the only one II haven't played, I will get this version and I'm looking forward to it, it's a great series.
Ever since E3 people have been have been complaining about almost everything and I mean sure some of their complaints have been justified. But a lot more have just been over exaggerations and stuff people made up just so their exaggerated anger can feel justified. Then you have the people who think nintendo is never going to release anymore games on the Wii U, who fears would be understandable IF nintendo didn't do directs and if we didn't have two years left with the thing. This has got annoying fast. Willing to bet any money this same people come here and crow if/when this game gets 5s or 6s. Stupid-whiney-doom-mongereors.
My favourite will always be Persona 3 FES' opening. As for Nintendo, yeah it's pretty difficult for anything to beat Melee, though Twilight Princess does at least match it IMO.
Well they deserve a hell of a lot of credit, most fun Nintendo developed game I've played since Galaxy 2, heck probably most fun I've had in general in a game since then.
@MightyKrypto just because I think the PS4 and Xbox One are crap? It's my opinion, you're still free to like them if you want. Sony/Microsoft have gone backwards IMO and I'm extremely disappointed with both of their current consoles and the way they're doing things.
@FlaygletheBagel I'm sorry, I take it back, I thought you were only referring to the PS4/Xbox One, I have no doubt at all that over the past 10 years Sony/Microsoft have helped shaped the industry more than Nintendo into what it is today, but is that really a good thing? Especially when you consider things like pre-order bonuses, COD/Destiny problems and DLC in general, something that Sony and Microsoft have been happy to help come along. But I would never take away from the 360/PS3, loved them both, but it's not like Nintendo not pushing the industry is a new thing only with the Wii U, they've been faking behind there for years. But screw the PS4/Xbox One man, both just wannabe PCs if I ever saw any lol, with only half or dozen or so worthwhile exclusives between them.
@FlaygletheBagel I'm just making a point and saying there's a lot of people out there who can't stand Sony, Microsoft or both, and they show it by not buying their products. Even Sony is losing is Japan, I think all 14 of the best selling 2014 games in Japan were on Nintendo consoles, and it think with all the success they've had this year over there, it will be a similar outcome for 2015. If you find Nintendo irrelevant then don't buy their products and don't come to a site called NINTENDO life to whine when they do something you don't like. A Microsoft like overhaul won't happen and quite frankly they don't need it, investors are happy, they're making a lot of profit and they're expanding rapidly. All that of the back of what was by far their most successful pairing of consoles. Irreverent indeed.
@FlaygletheBagel true innovation through Sony and Microsoft? Name me one, then, if they're so great, and please don't make it so easy for me to laugh with either Morpheus or Hololens. £600 goggles? 10/10 IGN too much innovation.
@Ralek85 I'd take Xenoblade Chronicles, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Beat the Beat Rhythm Heaven, Mario Strikers Charged, Monster Hunter Tri, NSMBW, Red Steel 2, Zack and Wiki, Prime 3, Another Code R, The Last Story, Sin and Punishment if we're talking about hidden gems and lesser known good games that the other did not have, and they're just on Wii. So there ya go, opinions.
@FlaygletheBagel if only, eh? I would love Nintendo to announce the NX, make it a compulsory online device and require people to pay for it. If only Nintendo became like Microsoft, then the world would be a better place, we would have 3 identical consoles and maybe Devil's Third will be playable in America and it could spell the death of console gaming in Japan. What was the Xbox One's sales in Japan last month? 1000? Less? I wonder why... Maybe that's an example you should follow, Japan hate Xbox and don't buy it, why don't you do the same with Nintendo? Especially after this horrific news
Damned if you do damned if you don't situation it seems. They publish and release it, the haters would have a field day if it becomes one of very few retail Wii U games to get a very average score on Metacritic, and if they don't, well, see several comments above, Nintendo are apparently dead and buried already because they don't publish a bad game, allow greedy Youtubers to use their products for easy money, a disappointing E3 and for making figurines. Best thing is it's still coming out next month in Europe so we'll see how good it is then, probably pick this up in the bargain bin with the few other 3rd party games I've got on Wii U if it isn't all that bad (because Disaster Day of Crisis was good IMO if this situation is similar to that).
@Discostew exactly, these idiots are getting far too handy with that word. It's just such a shame that this is the way of the internet, you go onto a comment section such as this and lo and behold, a troll approaches using his ignorance and low intellect trying to get some sort of reaction, the first comment, no less.
@faint oh and for that one he means New Leaf, not any of the upcoming ones. That is an amazing number considering it's still relatively new and not the most Japanese game out there.
@faint Why will Ace Attorney flop? It looks great and there's a strong AA following in Japan, not to mention it's been heavily covered in Japan for months really. I think it will do well, 100,000 in no time I would think, which is pretty good considering.
@Kirk K, then, I'm a 'fanboy' for looking forward to Starfox Zero, a game made by Platinum and directed by Miyamoto, just because you weren't blown away by the graphics of the E3 footage. K then. That just tells me you aren't worth anyone's time. I've played through The Witcher 3 and was blown away by those graphics but then again, I wasn't expected SFZ to match those at all, and it doesn't need to to be a fun and great game for me. But go ahead 'f' word away, you seem to be quite trigger happy with it.
Oh and PS are you just that deluded or blind with hatred that you can't go onto the Metroid Prime Federation Force, Animal Crossing amiibo Festival or even the general Digital Event videos and see the dislikes? Heck even the SFZ has loads of dislikes from people like you. It's got so out of hand that even Gamexplain got quite a few initial dislikes for even posting a discussion about ACAF even though they didn't say one good thing about it. There are people out there that aren't happy, and doing absurd things to get their voices heard (MPFF petition). No one's forcing you to buy any of these games, if you don't like 'em don't buy 'em that's they best way to get your point across, just don't go on articles insulting people for looking forward to them, especially when there are many things to look forward to.
@Kirk 1. Due calm down it's a Nintendo game, on Wii U, I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the graphics. Sure there are even many better looking Wii U games already, but this is Miyamoto we're talking about, he really doesn't care about matching other AAA games graphics wise 2. All that text to talk about minor texture issues? Minor pop-in? Like I said calm down, game looks great to me and many others. 3. Rushed Wii prototype that was upgraded to HD? Kinda bold words there, especially for a game that is, wait for it, not. Even. Finished. 4. Please don't use that 'f' word, there's a difference between fans and 'fanboys' IMO, and the moment you brand all us real fans as 'fanboys', just because the game doesn't meet your unrealistic expectations, you just lose all credit and come across as a grade A whiner. Let's see how this game works out and changes over the next 5-6 months and then your 'Wii prototype' allegations might actually hold water, eh?
@rjejr @arnoldlayne83 there you go now you're bringing up some good points, I agree most of those games you mentioned are great, particularly Bloodborne, but my point in bringing up The Order 1886 is that you can't say Sony's standards are higher when they allowed that game to be made as it was, and you summed it up perfectly well. I also agree that gameplay variety is essential, something I'd argue both Nintendo and Sony do very well. And there again is a point where we differ, you bring you No Man's Sky and say it LOOKS ten years ahead of Starfox and I think that's your main problem here, you seem to be jumping the gun a bit and judging games before they are released based mainly on graphics. To me, and many other I've seen I can assure you (about half of the comments I've seen on IGN said the same) NMS looks like much-ado-about nothing, I think they should've dropped their lofty ambitions a long time ago and focused on what makes videogames great-fun. You see to be awaiting games that push their systems to the bouviers and offer new way to play and that's fine, me personally I'd take another Donkey Kong as good as Tropical Freeze any day of the week. Good to see you're as hyped about XCX as I am
Oh and as for the people asking about XBX's voice acting it seems to be on the same-lines as Xenobalde Chronicles, cutscenes and battles are fully voiced, whilst the text when talking to NPCs in New LA is not I'm afraid. Oh and they're using American actors as well, unfortunately the main character also only talks in battle, there are several voice options you pick I when you create him/her.
@Aromaiden that would be cool, I love Monolith Soft and Zelda could be a perfect fit for them, but I don't see Nintendo giving anyone else a role to play in a main Zelda game, but hey, they requested Platinum's help with this game so who knows? Though one of the guys in charge at MS has already said they're working on their next game, and I doubt a team of their size can have 2 AAA games on-the-go coming immediately off-the-back of one, no matter how small a role they would play in Zelda U's development.

Re: Exclusive: Project CARS "Simply Too Much For Wii U", Developer Now Waiting On New Nintendo Hardware

Re: The Great Ace Attorney and Yo-Kai Watch Lead The Way for 3DS in Japan
Brilliant to see Ace Attorney's success. Well over 100,000 on its debut, hopefully Capcom remembers the western fans and starts the localisation.
Re: First Impressions: Trying to Believe in Devil's Third
@LiamR ....O...K then... I'll be sure to hear whenever you decide to tell us, but just take this experience in mind, I knew you were telling the truth, but don't but your neck on the line about this unless you're 100% sure, as from where I am it still looks 50/50 as to whether or not NOA are publishing this or not.
Re: First Impressions: Trying to Believe in Devil's Third
@LiamR why don't you tell us a few details on NX now that you've been proved right? I, my dog and even Detective Gumshoe and his dog knew this game was bad from a long way away, didnt really need some 'inside info' for that.
Re: Obituary: Satoru Iwata
For me a part of Nintendo has died today, a part that will never be the same no matter what happens in the future. But of course now is the time to look at the past, and respect his life's work. Yet to see one quote from anyone that knew him that is contrary to the way we as the public saw him. I'm extremely glad he achieved what surely was beyond even his dreams, but it still stings how he passed, and only a year older than my parents. RIP Satoru Iwata, if only for Earthbound, I'll always remember you.
Re: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55
@Ninstarkof "I talk about how this could be a good thing for Nintendo"
"Why am I the bad guy"
Your words kid, not mine. You should be ashamed.
Re: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55
@TheLastLugia I get that what was said was inconsiderate given the situation but please don't stoop down to insults it doesn't help the situation. --Jazzer
Re: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55
@ToxieDogg he's just an absolute low-life. Just the smallest amount of empathy, that's all I'd expect, imagine if he was your father, mentor, brother. Never mind the fact that he's a major part if an industry we all love and has affected us all, regardless of our personal ties to him.
Re: Nintendo President Satoru Iwata Passes Away Aged 55
@Ninstarkof this guy had a horrible last year or so, partly in thanks to people like you. He had a hard time in his job, then has this terrible illness which caused him to lose a considerable among of weight and affected his personal and professional life even more, then he dies suddenly, months after things were turning around for him. And what do you do? You hate on him and the people who respected him greatly. You're a despicable human being and I don't ever want to see you again.

Re: Nintendo of America Confirms Plans to Bring Devil's Third to Region
Re: Nintendo of America Confirms Plans to Bring Devil's Third to Region
Re: Nintendo of America Confirms Plans to Bring Devil's Third to Region
Re: Review: Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time (Wii U eShop / DS)
I'll chime in and say BIS is by far the best in my opinion, and I doubt Paper Jam or any future instalment will best it, it was the complete Mario and Luigi experience. Though PIT is the only one II haven't played, I will get this version and I'm looking forward to it, it's a great series.
Re: Nintendo of America Confirms Plans to Bring Devil's Third to Region
Ever since E3 people have been have been complaining about almost everything and I mean sure some of their complaints have been justified. But a lot more have just been over exaggerations and stuff people made up just so their exaggerated anger can feel justified. Then you have the people who think nintendo is never going to release anymore games on the Wii U, who fears would be understandable IF nintendo didn't do directs and if we didn't have two years left with the thing. This has got annoying fast. Willing to bet any money this same people come here and crow if/when this game gets 5s or 6s. Stupid-whiney-doom-mongereors.
Re: Video: Brace Yourself for these Top Five Most Exciting Intro Cutscenes in Gaming
My favourite will always be Persona 3 FES' opening. As for Nintendo, yeah it's pretty difficult for anything to beat Melee, though Twilight Princess does at least match it IMO.
Re: Interview: Splatoon Co-Director Tsubasa Sakaguchi On His Best Weapon, Mastering Gyro Controls And The Future Of Nintendo's Freshest IP
Well they deserve a hell of a lot of credit, most fun Nintendo developed game I've played since Galaxy 2, heck probably most fun I've had in general in a game since then.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
@MightyKrypto just because I think the PS4 and Xbox One are crap? It's my opinion, you're still free to like them if you want. Sony/Microsoft have gone backwards IMO and I'm extremely disappointed with both of their current consoles and the way they're doing things.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
@FlaygletheBagel true innovation through Sony and Microsoft? Name me one, then, if they're so great, and please don't make it so easy for me to laugh with either Morpheus or Hololens. £600 goggles? 10/10 IGN too much innovation.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
@Ralek85 I'd take Xenoblade Chronicles, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Beat the Beat Rhythm Heaven, Mario Strikers Charged, Monster Hunter Tri, NSMBW, Red Steel 2, Zack and Wiki, Prime 3, Another Code R, The Last Story, Sin and Punishment if we're talking about hidden gems and lesser known good games that the other did not have, and they're just on Wii. So there ya go, opinions.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
@IceClimbers da heck? Sony fans criticising Sony? Someone get that 'Homer parading armageddon' GIF stat!
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Isn't Bringing Devil's Third To North America
Re: Ubisoft's Former Wii U Exclusive ZombiU Confirmed For PS4 & Xbox One Release
@Discostew exactly, these idiots are getting far too handy with that word. It's just such a shame that this is the way of the internet, you go onto a comment section such as this and lo and behold, a troll approaches using his ignorance and low intellect trying to get some sort of reaction, the first comment, no less.
Re: Feature: Taking to the Skies for a Final Look at the Star Fox Zero E3 Build
@TheFurminator wow, that has got to be the most insightful comment I've ever seen on this site so far. Congratulations! A winner is you!
Re: Fire Emblem Fates Leads Japanese Charts Alongside Rhythm Heaven and Splatoon
@faint oh and for that one he means New Leaf, not any of the upcoming ones. That is an amazing number considering it's still relatively new and not the most Japanese game out there.
Re: Fire Emblem Fates Leads Japanese Charts Alongside Rhythm Heaven and Splatoon
@faint Why will Ace Attorney flop? It looks great and there's a strong AA following in Japan, not to mention it's been heavily covered in Japan for months really. I think it will do well, 100,000 in no time I would think, which is pretty good considering.
Re: Feature: Taking to the Skies for a Final Look at the Star Fox Zero E3 Build
Re: Feature: Taking to the Skies for a Final Look at the Star Fox Zero E3 Build
@Kirk 1. Due calm down it's a Nintendo game, on Wii U, I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the graphics. Sure there are even many better looking Wii U games already, but this is Miyamoto we're talking about, he really doesn't care about matching other AAA games graphics wise
Re: Feature: Taking to the Skies for a Final Look at the Star Fox Zero E3 Build
Re: Feature: Taking to the Skies for a Final Look at the Star Fox Zero E3 Build
@Aromaiden that would be cool, I love Monolith Soft and Zelda could be a perfect fit for them, but I don't see Nintendo giving anyone else a role to play in a main Zelda game, but hey, they requested Platinum's help with this game so who knows? Though one of the guys in charge at MS has already said they're working on their next game, and I doubt a team of their size can have 2 AAA games on-the-go coming immediately off-the-back of one, no matter how small a role they would play in Zelda U's development.
