Re: Rumour: A New Zelda: BOTW 2 Name Is Gaining Traction Online...

BotW 2 has connection with A Link between Worlds. I think it has that same mechanic: ability to travel between Hyrule and Lorule. It's like the 'upside-down' in Stranger Things.

They basically created an open world Lorule and reused the same Hyrule in the first game. The Towers will served as a portal between these 2 worlds.

The same concept as adding Majora's Mask to complement Ocarina of Time.

Good for him, he didn't turned to piracy. He will enjoy the console and game more than anyone of you.

I remember as a kid I have to save up months of pocket money just to buy a new game. I treasured and enjoyed that game more than any games I have today.

When you pirate games, you have hundreds of them installed, you won't enjoy them as much as something you work hard for - strange how the universe justified every actions and consequences.

All the games companies just don't get it: making a kart game won't replicate the MarioKart experience.

Nintendo's secret sauce is their game mechanics.

Nintendo games are all based on a pre-defined laws that controls the gameplay. In Mariokart, players in last place are given rockets and boosters to move them forward. Players in the middle are given blue shells, red shells, bomb, etc to attack the front. First place player is given banana peel or useless coins. These laws create a tight game that ensures more chaotic competition - that is what makes MarioKart fun.

Re: Mario Kart Convinced Nintendo's President To Join The Company In The '90s

Unlike Iwata, he is a business oriented CEO. You can tell from the way things are managed at Nintendo, it's mostly ports from Wii U to Switch - he is trying to recuperate from the losses that Wii U was causing.

Iwata was a game developer and a gamer, so quality comes first. He probably over did it - so many good games for the Wii U that didn't sell.

I have spoken to Gary Bowser a few times at that GBA site, he was known as Garyopa at the forum. I don't know if he knew that his own people are ripping him off. A lot of people are not paying for SXOS through their website, it was paid to his team members through their personal Paypal account. Some of their team members are generating serials for the CFW and selling them outside the company.
