Re: Junichi Masuda Reassures Fans on New Pocket Monsters for Pokémon Sun and Moon

@e105zeta Hence me saying that if they just buckle down and try to make each game something new it would be better than just throwing in Pokémon and hoping people eat it up. Just make one last Stadium-esque game with the old combat system and everything, perfect that for people who want to play in the future, and then revamp it for future entries. New combat, new storytelling, new structure.

Re: Wii U Reference Discovered In Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Website

I have extremely mixed feelings on this one. Considering Advanced Warfare will be the first truly new-generation Call of Duty, it is looking to take advantage of the hardware at every step along the way. I imagine that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will be similar to the DS versions of CoD - handicapped, not altogether terrible, but far worse than the main releases. Depending on which iteration we get, we can safely know how much power a company like Activision could get of our little engine that could. And, honestly, I'd rather have no AW than a gimped one - this game is looking to finally bring me back into the CoD fold.

Re: Two Tribes Announces New 2D Shooter, RIVE

Just as a note to @XCWarrior, they have confirmed that the game is releasing on the Wii U. However, they don't know if they have the budget for a release across the PS4, Xbox One, AND Wii U. Those consoles cost a ton more to develop for.
Also, in a general regard to the story: a twin-stick 2D shooter from Two Tribes that focuses on in-level exploration? Count me in!

Re: Intelligent Systems Development HQ Image Emerges

You know, I am feeling extremely conflicted about the fact that Thomas didn't bring up the Advance Wars series. On one hand, they haven't made a game in the series for a while, so it makes sense to not really mention it. On the other hand, this also means that the Wars series is fading into obscurity; at least the Fire Emblem series is close enough to it for comfort. Honestly, I would be perfectly happy if Intelligent Systems became a third party developer and started making games for a variety of systems. Preferably sticking to Nintendo hardware as their system of choice (a la Naughty Dog), but occasionally making games for the PC and whatnot. Wouldn't a Wars game on the PC be completely fantastic? Let me answer that for you: yes.
