I own a lot of consoles but this is my absolute favourite based on design. It's the most beautiful system anyone has ever made. The packaging on my Famicom version is especially incredible.
I was playing the Andromeda Galaxy version of the game the other day (my Wii is multi-region) and was surprised to find that the box art on my copy has a picture of Cygnus A.
@TYRANACLES I'm not 100% but I'm fairly sure. A character called Travis who is a ghost in Killer7 that says I used to be an assassin. There's a YouTube video of it I think.
I would love this to be true. I got Killer7 at launch and adored it. Absolutely batsh*t crazy and so unique.
Also, it's literally only just occurred to me that the dead guy called Travis who gives you advice is actually the ghost of Travis Touchdown. I'm stupid.
Regardless of whether or not this relates to a Sunshine remake (it doesn't IMO), imagine a COVID free world where E3 took place etc. Doesn't it feel like there's a hell of a lot of games unannounced?
Everything Nintendo has revealed so far this year could have been presented in a 30 second commercial. Surely they have big things to announce imminently. Right?
@LillianC14 Having now finally completed the game I'm even more unsure why you didn't like the game. Have you played it? I had the original on 360 and got horrendously stuck. Bought it on PS4 because of the extra content but didn't really play it much. Traded that in for a Switch copy and couldn't put it down. It's been great. A huge thumbs up from me.
1995. Nintendo finally finished the N64 design and decided to go with cartridges and forced a ton of developers to jump ship to PlayStation. How different would the gaming landscape look today if that decision hadn't been made.
@LillianC14 Give it a try. It's a fantastic game and brilliant to finally have it on Switch. Great graphics, incredibly challenging puzzles and a really intriguing story. What's not to like???
@Alucard83 It's a fantastic mix of puzzle and anime drama. If that's not your thing then fair enough. A lot of people would disagree but that's what's so great about games being available in all flavours.
This looks bland and over produced now. I loved this game on Xbox because of the striking visual style. This looks less like a comic book and strays from the original beauty. Fingers crossed the gameplay still holds up.
@JimmySpades Wow! Bit aggressive to my fairly innocuous comment. Thankfully I don't spend my life reading through all of your previous comments. Although in future I'll make sure I set a reminder to check them just in case I agree with your choices and you still get salty.
@nessisonett You don't have to buy them. Farm the games out to a port specialist so it doesn't hinder Nintendo's new output. Where's the harm??? Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has made Nintendo enormous amounts of cash that helps fund new games and future consoles. It's a win for Switch owners who have never played them. It's a win for Nintendo's bank balance. It's a win for fans who have played the ports because it means tons more money and time for Nintendo to create new IP and new games in existing. Everybody wins surely?
It's a golden age in the sense that we have complete access to every previous generation and therefore gaming in general becomes a richer and more diverse medium with every year that passes. I have amazing memories from the 8-bit generation onwards and still get that same buzz today. NES - buying a copy of Metroid from Boots for £40 with my birthday money. SNES - importing my first Japanese game (Ranma 1/2) but then having to wait a further 4 weeks for the adaptor/convertor to arrive. N64 - playing Super Mario 64 in a kiosk in Beatties with a crowd of other kids trying to work out how to use an analogue stick. GameCube - marvelling at how small the discs were and thinking that graphics would never better than Burnout. Wii - getting an Uncle who had never played a videogame in his life to try Wii Sports and laugh his arse off while challenging me to one more tennis match. Wii U - using the GamePad to scan for security camera in Zombi U felt like the future. Switch - playing a fully fledged, no compromise Zelda game in the palm of my hands. The fact that I have all of these memories and can still enjoy all of these games if I want to is pretty special. Oh and my Famicom GB Micro is the tits.
I had this when I was a kid and didn't get anywhere near completing it. Can't wait to download it to see if I've got better at games as the years have gone by.

Re: Rumour: Super Monkey Ball Announcement Coming Later This Month
I would poison my entire family for remastered versions of 1 and 2 on Switch.
Re: Review: Super Mario All-Stars - All That Glitters Isn't Necessarily Gold
@Madder128 Absolutely right. These games have not aged regardless of how many other ways you can play them.
Re: Platinum Celebrates The First Anniversary Of Its Switch Exclusive Astral Chain
I really wanted to adore this game but I just got bored after the first hour or so. Here's to a port of Lollipop Chainsaw instead of a sequel.

I'm secretly hoping for a port of The Need For Speed on 3DO.
Re: Amazon Lists Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered For Nintendo Switch
@nkarafo Great point. Every racing game should have this option.

@huyi So get it on Switch or Xbox One.

Re: Nintendo Has Removed Pikmin 3 From The Wii U eShop Ahead Of The Switch Release
The only people this screws over are die hard Nintendo fans who still play their Wii U (like me). This is poor form Nintendo.
Re: Taiwanese Rating Suggests That The Original No More Heroes Is Heading To Switch
@Mushvision Not true. Which is why the boss battles appear incorrectly in the Japanese and EU versions.
Re: Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics Version 1.1.2 Is Now Available, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

@kirbygirl Me too. I played it to death on 360. Got the PS4 version last year and just got my Switch copy today. I love, love, LOVE this game!

Re: Can You Match These Links To The Zelda Game They're From?
Question 3 - I'm really hoping they release 'Majora's Mash 3D' on Switch. Lol. Definitely my favourite potato themed game on N64.
Re: Rumour: A Tomb Raider Collection Might Be On The Way To Nintendo Switch
@Zenszulu , You're right. I have an Atari Jaguar and I adore it. The best version of Rayman is on Atari Jaguar.
Re: Rumour: A Tomb Raider Collection Might Be On The Way To Nintendo Switch
@Angelic_Lapras_King Saturn.
Re: Rumour: A Tomb Raider Collection Might Be On The Way To Nintendo Switch
@ChromaticDracula As long as it's physical I'm in too.

@Damo Exactly.
Re: Circle Of Football Has No Rules And Absurd Characters, And It's Coming To Switch This Year

Re: Review: Namco Museum Archives Vol 2 - An Eclectic Mix That's For Hardcore Fans Only
Pac-Land was available in the west on Wii U Virtual Console.
