Don't know if I'd give it a 6, but out of all the Yakuza games I've played so far, Kiwami was my least favorite. I thought Zero was much more enjoyable in every way, and Like a Dragon was just awesome.

If I hear ''Ghibli-esque'' or ''Ghibli inspired'' one more time, I'm gonna throw a fit. But seriously, thanks for the review.

Wow, absolutely amazing news to see this coming out in the West. The demo is really fun to play and left me impressed. Maybe a physical release is not very likely, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Haven't played this yet myself, but from looking at gameplay, this seems very similar to another DS title, 'Go! Go! Cosmo Cops!'
If you like this game, I highly recommend giving that one a shot as well, it's quite fun.

Tried the demo on PS5 and was blown away. I'm really excited for this.

It's an all-time classic, one I come back to play every now and then.

I think it looks great. Finally a movie based on a video game that is LIKE THE VIDEO GAME.

Elden Ring. I actually kind of enjoyed that game. No idea why nobody talks about it.

@Exerion76 Have you played Air Twister on Apple Arcade? It's from Yu Suzuki and is a lot like Space Harrier. It's not very good though, at least I didn't think so.

@koekiemonster Me too, I've been playing it recently. One of my favorite Breakout-style games, brilliant.

I was hoping to see a new game. If it's just a port of the 360 version, that'd be very underwhelming.

Wow, maybe they'll finally do something else besides Yakuza and re-releasing Sonic 2 for the hundredth time.

The Wii is still the best console when it comes to light-gun shooters. Playing House of the Dead 2, 3, and Ghost Squad on there is a lot of fun-in short bursts, of course.

@Daniel36 Played the heck out of this on PS4. One of my favorite racing games ever, just a blast to play. The physics are excellent.

It does say ''captured on Switch'' on the bottom just for a few seconds.. I'd be very impressed if this runs well.

The logo is awful, but not surprising with this minimalist, soulless trend in design going on.

Dungeon Encounters is getting a physical release, hope this will too.

The Switch needs a LOT more stability. Never had a console with so many games freezing or crashing.

Yoshi Experiments. The Yoshi survival horror game we never knew we wanted until now.

Kururin Squash is a delightful little gem. Great graphics, very easy to pick up and play. Great music too.

@stache13 That's probably the main reason people played it. From what I remember, the gameplay itself is pretty tedious stuff.

@riggah I agree. I played Endless Ocean Blue World last summer and really got into it, played it for weeks. An absolute gem.

@Arckadius Thoroughly enjoyed it too. I played in 3D through most all of it--it looks fantastic to this day.

@EmmatheBest They should have put the DS version in HD widescreen in that collection. Would have been neat I'd say.

Currently playing the DS version on 3DS. Never really got into the game till now!

I played and beat it recently. I liked it, it's a very good action game. Didn't care a whole lot for the story though. The areas also look pretty bland and generic. I wouldn't mind to see more story in Metroid games for sure, flesh Samus out a bit more. But then again, her being a silent protagonist is part and parcel of the series.

Joy con are nice, when they work.

He's a very talented game designer. He's worked on the Yakuza games long enough. I just want to see something new from him, doesn't matter who he works for.

This whole joy con debacle has put a real damper on my enjoyment of the system overall. The quality and stability of the Switch itself has been disappointing. Can't tell you how many times games have crashed on me, how many times the joy-cons will just disconnect while playing in handheld mode, etc.

It says 2022 on the box, that's enough for people to buy it.

So how much actual storyline will this have? I'd definitely be excited if this comes to the west if it has a full-fledged story with interesting characters.

@earthinheritor Agreed. It's getting tiring calling everything a ''zelda clone'' or a ''souls-like'', etc etc. It's basically if a game has hearts for a life bar, you bet your arse it'll be called a zelda clone.

I am in love with the game so far. As for those 2 cons, I like stories in my games and don't mind reading, and in my opinion the combat is fine, certainly not clunky.

@chipia God, I hope that is the case. They have produced some of the finest RPGs ever. Dark Cloud 2, Dragon Quest VIII, Ni no Kuni, etc.
