Personally I only ever use the N-ZAP 89. I've tried every other base weapon (since most of these 79 are actually just variants with different loadouts), and none of them have been as effective.
That said i understand wanting some gameplay variance if you play this day in and day out. Personally I've only played enough to unlock all the base weapon types.
That official Sonic Twitter account takes the piss big time. They promoted the Grumps' playthrough of Sonic Boom instead of promoting Sonic Boom itself because it sucked so bad.
They've made the last-gen versions of Black Ops 3. Despite it looking awful I'd imagine they did the best they could in the time they had since Treyarch had to finish their maps before Beenox could start them.
On another 'obscure Sonic appearance' note, that image you've used for the article was the cover of a choose your own adventure book which I read in the 90s and haven't been able to find since.
I'm surprised to learn that NL has a contributor who's (if my calculations are correct) either still in high school or has only just left. It's not a bad thing (the article is certainly as well-written as any other on NL), just... interesting. Shows that we're well into the second generation of born-and-bred gamers in journalism.
Anyone who hasn't played the Trilogy before: I say go for it! Not only will you be getting three fantastic games, you'll most likely be helping to convince Capcom to localize the next game, The Great Ace Attorney. Localization isn't a given in this series like it is with, say, Layton, so give us Ace Attorney fans a hand, huh?
Price is a little steep, but I feel like Capcom might use what this makes to fund translation of the next game, so I'm pretty much obligated to buy it.
No one's going to call absolute bullpoopypoop?
What kind of console has a new model that improves the CPU to the point where it has games exclusive to that new model? That's absolutely idiotic.
DSi had those camera games, but that's only because it had a new external hardware feature. Nintendo has upgraded the goshdarn CPU in an existing console.
This has to be the lowest-quality review I've read on NL. I mean, I get that it's an old one and NL understandably had some middling vocabulary in the early days just because they were the early days, but this... Apparently the reviewer hasn't posted since 2010, long before I got here. Who was David Snoddy, then?
It's funny, reading this now; there's actually relatively little in-depth analysis. The review basically boils down to "it's another Zelda, slightly refined. You'll like it" Which isn't anything against good 'ol James; it just sorta highlights how this was loved upon release and then hated by many in hindsight. perhaps 'just another Zelda' isn't enough.
My dopamine levels rise when I have a good gym sesh too. Maybe lifting is as addictive as heroin too. It's most certainly bad for you to stay in good shape.
The game doesn't have PvP multiplayer on ANY platform. Only horde mode 'Escalation' on everything but Wii U. While this means that any other version would be a better bet, you aren't missing all that much. In terms of campaign, it's definitely on par with War for Cybertron's campaign.
Actually, the reason it was canned was because the lead programmer put a keylogger into the game, and when it was discovered, he left the project and took the source code with him.
Not surprised. Why'd it leave 3DS, and why can't they just make the 3DS version? It seemed like they didn't even need the crowdfunding when it was only the 3DS version...
I agree. Nintendo has 'earned the right to fail' once or twice. Sure, it sucks, but the great experiences outweigh the bad ten to one. Also as long as we keep getting stuff like SM3DW, it doesn't matter if they're in the s*** or not.
Also awesome. I hope Takumi is working on a new Ghost Trick.
Note that the wording of the interview meant that the possibility is still open that Takumi is working on the same thing as Yamazaki. It wasn't confirmed or denied.

Re: LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Has Neat DLC, Yet It's Not Listed for Wii U
Damn. Was planning to get this on Wii U if it had parity with other consoles, which for a Lego game seemed fairly likely.
Re: Latest Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Features Everyone's Favourite Admiral
I somehow doubt Harrison Ford's voiceover dialog for a Lego game will be particularly well delivered.
Re: The Legend of Zelda for Wii U Gets Its 2016 Release Window Back, as Project Guard Slips to 'TBC'
I thought the Project games were part of Star Fox Zero?

Yeah, I've always wanted an F4F figure, but they're so damn expensive.
Re: Feature: Our Top Wii U Games - Third Anniversary Edition
Wonderful 101 takes the top spot for me.
Last week I would have said it doesn't even deserve an honorable mention, but those last few levels man.

Iwata does look like his suit is hanging off him in that last one. Rest in Peace Iwata.
Re: Beenox Won't Be Working on Spider-Man Games Anymore
They've made the last-gen versions of Black Ops 3.

Re: Site News: Nintendo Life Turns 10 Today
Congrats guys! Here's to ten more.
Re: Video: Speedrunner Sets New World Record for Super Mario Bros.
@dadajo @Gridatttack The fact that a non-TAS speedrun is only off a perfect TAS run by a third of a second is pretty damn impressive.

Heh. This is cute.

I'll buy it to support the release of Great Ace Attorney in English, but the horrible redraw of the judge almost completely puts me off.

Re: Check Out the Evolution of Visuals in Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
