Outside of Metroid 5 the rest is none of my interest. Advanced wars looks good, but it will be a 60 dollars remake.

@RupeeClock If you feel obssesed to get every damn pokemon in the game you will have a really frustating time. Yeah, I know people have diferent goals, but freemium games like this can be way too expensive if you want everything fast. Eventualy, you will get every pokemon for free, just need to be patient.

I wanted Super Nintendo Switch, but I know they will probably go for ''New Nintendo Switch''.

@Rika_Yoshitake Nintendo, not game freak. Pokémon Sword and Shield did not look batter on launch.

@jcboyer515 I got many master ball from those surprise trades. And Yes, I did complete the story and captured Zacian. There is nothing esle to do, i already completed the battle tower. Where is my charmander?

@jcboyer515 Leon didn't give one for me. I actualy captured one in a Max Raid with a master ball.

I loved the 3D Dialga and Palkia, I have no idea why are some complaining. It just looks gorgeous. Loved the Legends Arceus too.

@Heavyarms55 the reason live action stuff like Sonic and Detective Pikachu works is because people find animation ''childish'', doesn't matter if it's a cartoon, anime, unless you are top tier ''Pixar'' stuff. I mean, even kids like live action, it's just a trend. You're not suposed to like it more though. Animation suffers from discrimination. That's it.

I would like to see them helping Game Freak develop a Pokémon game with a better overworld design.

Just remake F-zero GX or X, people will buy it for online alone.

If we are getting a switch any close to the orignal 300 price, then the hardware upgrade will be minimal. There is no way we will get a beef upgrade to play first party games at quad HD under 400 dollar price tag.

@ModdedInkling of course, the world only had to be remodeled, but that has nothing to do with hardware utilisation.

@ModdedInkling This is not really a comparasion, but Xenoblade DE has completely remade graphics, 3d models, lighting, textures, it doesn't look worse or comparable at all to earlier versions, you should put it in the same tier as Xenoblade 2, the original wii could never run it.

Shall I remember you guys that OLED and AMOLED screens suffer from something called ''Ghosting'' aka as ''Burn in''? Menus and HUDs are their worst enemis.

@ModdedInkling Xenoblade 1 was completely remade with new 3d models and textures, lighting etc. You can't compare it to the wii and 3ds version.
Anyway, any game running below 1080p 60fps would benefit from new hardware. MK8 deluxe and Smash Ultimate, could get updated shadow resolutions ( they look terrible in ultimate, still better than the inexistent shadows in Smash Wii U lol).

@ModdedInkling I don't think you can blame the developers of the best looking games such as Botw and Xenoblade 2. We need a slightly more powerfull switch just to keep those frame rates stop resolution from droping below 720p. Remember the switch only has 4gb of ram, wich probably only 2gb is used as Vram, wich limits textures and resolution.

@RadioHedgeFund I agree with the monolith softwre doing a pokemon game, the overwolrd of xenoblade is amazing. But changing the battle system would be a huge drawback. Pokemon's battle system is the best thing of it.

@dimi Yes, but Nintendo uses Nvidia and they can use DLSS to achieve 1080p and beyond easily.

Xenoblade is one of Nintendo's most sucessful IPs (of not many lol), they deserve the recognition just Like arms and Splatoon had. Rex was suposed to get in the game if it wasn't for the late timing of Xenoblade 2.
Nintendo's IPs will get priority over third parties for obvious reasons.
You don't have to like every Nintendo first party game, and so, you don't have to like every new fighter. It's commom sense. I don't like Minecraft, yet I'm not complaining Steve is in. People need to calm down and let others apreciate they favorite new fighters. Bunch of spoiled brats.

@Darknyht Not really, but if the docked handheld can support 4k they can at LEAST keep 1080p across all games and potentialy support 1440p on their IPs. 4k requires tons of VRAM and i doubt they will go for more than 8gb of ram. This is a win win situation.

@BloodNinja the article says 4k only when paired with the tv. And yes, this will at LEAST get rid of the frame rate when played in 720p docked. Games like Fire emblem three houses and xenoblade 2 really need this.

@dimi the ps4 pro supports 4k and it mostly play games below quad HD(1200p). 4k means nothing, only that it will go beyond 1080p for lighter games. This is a plus anyway.

@BloodNinja If it supports 4k then it should have more gpu power and more RAM. The current switch model NEEDS this to at least keep constant 1080p in all games in TV mode while adding 1440p to some games, and keep handheld mode from going below 720p in some games (huh...xenoblade 2). At 400$ this would be really nice.

@BoFiS @BloodNinja It's not a bigger Switch, the current switch model has a huge Bezel that can be removed to make a bigger screen. It was made to prevent screen scratches, but with an OLED screen, I don't think the bezel will be needed anymore. It's commom sense.

'' I prefer the pixel art'' boy, you guys talk like if the pixel art in the orignal game was top notch, not sure if that's bias or just nostalgia, but the original game was heavily limited by the hardware and did not age that well. There are much better exemples of ''pixel art'' (why do I find that name so cringe?) on SNES, Genesis and PSX. Look at Digimon world 3. I will take the 3d over the dated pixeled game without a second thought. People are just overreacting, this game doesn't look too diferent from Let's Go, just the character models on the overwolrd are chibi, the rest is pretty much the same, the character models in battles have their real proportions. I get it they can do much more with all the pokémon games on Switch, but this is NOT terrible nor worse than the original game at all.

@Northwind People disliked Sword and Shield for those low quality textures, not beucase of the graphic style. Characters and Pokemon looked fine, the grass, the water looked fine, it was trees, some objects and the plain terrain that lacked some decent texture. The graphic was actualy really good.

If they keep the battle frontier with the online modes, plus a proper ranked battle mode against anonymous players ( you needed battle revolution for that) and new pokemon from new regions, I will buy it. Platinum content is the bare minimum and anything bellow that is unacceptable. This should be the definitive 4th gen game.

I'd prefer if they completely remade the world in a new 3d environment with Sword and Shield's word style( but with higher quality textures please). Look at both Botw and xeboblade 2, they can do so much more with the hardware in both these remakes and legends Arceus. Anyway, platinum was my first game, I feel like this style will give me plenty of nostalgia as it is essentialy the original game remade in HD, I don't know why that option was in the poll and there is no way the original looks better as some say it. It looks good but they can do better than that. I feel like they really need help with optimizing these games, it was the reason I skiped sword and shield.

@Wexter Let's Go was catering aroung Go players, not the mainstream pokemon gamers. This game here, Legends, seems to to be trying something new, you an catch pokemon with just the pokeball, but you still have wild battles.
And yes, Final Fantasy is just an JRPG brand at this point, it's like Need for Speed, the game completely changes yet they keep the same name. Thankfuly Pokemon is not doing this.

I have never given up on a game because of bad graphics until Sword and Shield. Now this game, while it does look more complex, suffers from serious aliasing and frame rate drop. They are going into the right direction, but they seriously need help with the hardware if they can't get the to run on switch. Xenoblade and Botw look incredible, game freak can't do it alone, ask monolith software for help. Genshin Impact looks better than this and it's a MOBILE game. Let me remember you guys that they are charging full price for this. This is inexcusable.

@Brydontk If they change it for Pokemon, competitive players will get pissed. Final Fantasy is a solo game, you can change whaterver you want as you are only fighting the AI.

@Brydontk of course it's turn based, this is the core gameplay from the pokemon gamees, you can't change it.

If the f1 continue to be made by codemasters, I'm fine with it as long as they don't force microtransactions on things that are not cosmetic.

@UltimateOtaku91 yes, look it up, Mythra has an optional censored outfit in xenoblade 2. They just adapted thar version in smash.

It still baffles me that GTA V is not in the Switch. Sure, storage might be a problem, it will require a SD card even if it uses a 32gb cart, but there is still a potential market for it.

@HotGoomba___Rebrand Seems like they sacrificed too much just to have ray tracing in that version. Direct X ray tracing is pretty demanding just like RTX.

The physical game is more than 400 reais here in Brazil (like 80 dollars) and the minimun wage here is 1000 reais. I might get it digital, but I don't have enough space in my SD card. Those are though times

There is no need for Xbox as I have a gaming pc and I can play all games there. Sony oftenly releases their exclusives on Steam. Nintendo is the only console trying to not mimic a pc... so what's the point of another console?
