Got it and played it last night. Latency was a bit of an issue, but overall I had a good time. I was able to take it and play it in my bed after my back started to hurt in my chair playing docked, so in that respect it works well on Switch.

@alexybubble BOTW is more or less a "restart" on the Zelda timeline. The devs said it takes place at the end of every timeline...But it's pretty more of a "Everything else in the past doesn't really matter canon wise"

@SpaceKaren A 4k Switch isn't happening, the most likely outcome is a slightly more powerful model with longer battery life, and better internals to run the bare minimum that next gen third party ports would require.

@sixrings At this point, nobody in my town cares about Covid anymore and I assume it's like that in alot of places(Especially Japan)

So I doubt Nintendo cares about making it online.

@KnightsTemplar It means something that is connected to the story, like something that is offcial. An example would be the Zero Escape series.

Each game has multiple endings, but only one of the endings is"Canon", meaning only one of the endings is the true end.

So that means this game fits into the Zelda Timeline, or rather, Breath Of The Wild Timeline.

People acting as if they're owed Persona 5 on the Switch is funny asf. Persona 5 is an exclusive, just like Persona 5 Royal is an exclusive. You can't play Astral Chain on PS4, why? Because it's a Switch Exclusive. You need to get that through your head(And no it won't sell better on the Switch, Persona's main audience is and always has been the Playstation)

This makes sense to me; have a Pokemon Direct and a Smash Showcase to go ahead and take care of two of your biggest franchises, leaving more room for smaller stuff in the actual direct.

@mesome713 Coming from a Persona fan since Persona 3; I can assure you that yes, we will double dip lol Persona 3 FES(Enhanced version of P3) and P4 Golden(Enhanced version of P4) shows that Royal will do quite well, hell prob even better than base P5 considering how well known P5 is.

Sword and Shield are going to be some of the biggest disappointments of the year, and I am so looking forward to the game not selling well so I can rub it in yalls face and show that yes, people were actually miffed and it's not just some "Internet rage" thing your claiming.

@RupeeClock Just more and more reasons not to buy this watered down Generation. I'll be shocked if this game breaks 10 mil, I let think it's looking like a 3-5 mil due to all the negative press and fan frustration.

@KBuckley27 Thats not even close to a fair comparason. Persona 5 Scramble is a SPIN OFF game, not a mainline game. Plus Persona 5 Royal is coming just a few months before scramble, so your perfectly set.

Sword and Shield on the other hand are not Spin Off Games, they are MAINLINE games that have had zero effort put into them. For Longtime Pokemon fans, it's so frustrating cause Gamefreak literally gave us the bare minimum for a console pokemon game in a day and age where everything from Mario to Zelda to even Fire Emblem are going above and beyond.

@Desrever Everything here lines up with a Kotaku article from last month which said the new characters would be Anna and Jeritza, so it's more than likely Jeritza who was added to the Empire path.

@sixrings I bought the Fighters pass when it was first announced, so I had Terry before I even knew he would be in the game. Still it's clear Sakurai was looking out for others as well, if people want cheap fan service, google exists.

As a Mother, I can understand his reasoning. I don't think my kids would really pay much attention to a background character while playing, but better safe than sorry for sure.

In before Sword and Shield sells good, but still falls below expectations.

Whats with some of the negative comments towards people who use this? While its true many people are indeed overweight, pretending that it's 100% on them is very unfair. Many overweight people struggle with mental issues, or some sort pf physical disability, making regular exercise a tough experience. I see this game perfect for them though, as its a great way to get into exercise. Me and my daughter use this every morning together, and even though she's only 7, it still seems to tire her out if we go long enough.

@retro_player_22 No the PS4 sells well cause it has great exclusives and is overall the best system on the market in terms of Hardware; the Wii U and Switch have nothing to do with it. You could make an argument the Switch would actually have sold worse had it come out when the PS4 first came out, because a big reason the Switch is selling so well now is because the PS4 and Xbox One are almost done.

Im also kinda in the same boat when it comes to the PS5; though Im already sold on getting a PS5 since Persona 6 will 100% be exclusive to it lol.

@bluesun The thing is that the current Harvest Moon Games are not connected to the OG Harvest Moon games and the current Story of Seasons games; not only in the fact does it not have any of the OG devs on it, but while Story of Seasons continues to improve the core of what the OG Harvest Moon games did; the current Harvest Moon games are dirty cash grabs.

For the people asking about SMTV, it should be noted that when the game was first shown off at the Switch event in 2017, that was when development had just begun, like they were still moving in the new office chairs and stuff.

Persona 5 took around 5 years to create, originally being set to release in 2015 before getting delayed all the way to 2017. Assuming SMT5 is as big, if not bigger than P5, then it's safe to say we're looking at it being a 2021-2022 game.

@gloom Saying Joker is wasting a spot is ignorant beyond belief; he;s the current face of one of the biggest JRPG's currently on the market, and damming Sony for having an exclusive game is like Damming Nintendo for not letting Sony have Astral Chain.

Also to answer your question, P5 Strikers will be on both the PS4 and Switch, and as much I adore my Switch; the PS4 will always be my go to console for the Warriors Games not named Hyrule Warriors.

I mean with how cheap the online service already is; I don't really see people signing up for a different one unless it's somehow even cheaper(like $10 a year or something) and I highly doubt it be a one time payment as that would hurt Nintendo in the long run.
