Well your opinion is irrelevant here, as that is not even the XL (LL in JP) they are talking about. Nintendo has not released a photo or even said what will be on the new Pokemon 3DS LL. If you would have read the lovely Orla's article you might have understood this.
Having said that; I too want that Year of Luigi XL here in the US. Let's hope they release that in the West eventually.
I think I enjoy A Link to the Past just a tad more than Chrono Trigger, but both titles are some of my favorite games ever. The SNES was and still is great, and this list is really solid. Every game on it is still fun to play.
@HiroshiYamauchi Yeah I definitely noticed that as well. On the far left side of my Gamepad screen there was a vertical white stripe, and the game certainly lags at times. It is playable, but Nintendo should fix that. This has to be one of my favorite NES games, along with SMB3 and a few others.
@NintendoLife - You people would be my favorite if you found out exactly why they didn't rerelease it in the West until now. Perhaps they just didn't recognize the massive interest until Miiverse went up...
I noticed I could go on Mother 2's Miiverse page the day it was released in Japan and kindly asked for it to be released in the West, and from there on many good people followed suit. (To be honest I just kind of stumbled upon the Japanese Miiverse and noticed anyone can comment on any Miiverse page) I'm not saying that I started this or it's being released because of me, but because of every single person (you!) who took the time to request the game in a respectable fashion. Thank you to everyone who did that! I think that really made an impression on Itoi-san as to how much we appreciate his work of art.
@Peach64 Agreed. I'm interested in seeing how they use all of the 3DS' features. Nintendo always seems to take advantage of their hardware in unique ways.
I'm so happy that we are back to using buttons in Zelda. The Wii U Zelda should follow suit. Stylus and motion control were ok, but nothing beats the classic button control method in my eyes, or my hands.
@SennaKurosaki "And it is the die-hard-fans that persuade the average Joe to want a 3DS too."
I've actually convinced more than a few of my friends and random people to get a 3DS, and these are adults I'm talking about, although I have no idea if they play them a lot or not. One of my friends even bought one for his wife... and then they got divorced.
@rjejr I guess I should move to Japan? Part of the problem is Western people see gaming as "childish", which is childish in its own right. I'm 26 and I still read comics, watch anime, play video games and gasp have a great job while going to college. I'll do what I enjoy doing until the day I die. People who judge other people's hobbies as "childish" are inch brained morons. People who stop gaming because they are afraid what other people will think of them are in the same category.
@chanchandesu I picked it up early on in the 3DS' life, because of the slow software start mostly, but the game has never froze on me in about 100 hrs of gameplay. I enjoy it quite a bit, but being someone who wants to know and do everything I can, the game is a little too much for me.
Tetris Axis is a lot of fun as well. It's the perfect game for shorter play sessions. The other modes added aren't going to change the world but they are fun as well.
@Tech101 That is definitely true. The only month of this year that I don't have any games I plan on purchasing is July. I can wait until next year. Patience, they say, is a virtue.
I picked up the Pikachu LE 3DS XL so I won't be getting this if it comes to America, but I really hope it does! The more LE models we get the better. I'm not opposed to getting another LE XL if it is special enough to me, like say a Luigi Green model.
@yoshisaredragon Good observational skills but sadly that is not the case. The trailer on IGN has them filled in with the systems already mentioned and does not include the Wii U.
This is beyond ridiculous and just causing a stir for no good reason whatsoever. Hopefully they will announce the eShop version soon enough or SEGA will certainly be the bane of some Nintendo fan's existence. I don't want to hear "A Wii U port is too difficult either". That'd be the biggest crock of horse crap I've ever heard. I don't care for this game too much, I just think leaving out Nintendo on the reveal trailer is ignorant.
It's too late to port Xillia to the Wii U as a standalone, but Xillia 2 should be on there (and maybe include Xillia on the Xillia 2 disc?). All subsequent entries should also be on the Wii U. Support Nintendo's new home console Baba-san!
Sure I want some 3DS news and release dates, but the 3DS is going along just fine right now. I NEED some Wii U news, as do the rest of the Nintendo fans around the globe. A Pikmin 3 release date in the not so distant future would do wonders for the system itself and the fans.
@AndyGreen @crumpledpapyrus What version do you think is the best option for this game? Digital or Physical? I have two 3DS' right now so that is kind of a reason to get physical, physical. I wanna get physical! (sorry about that) I think the digital version would be more clever for this type of game, but then I wouldn't be able to play it on both systems...
They should do a $20 or so "cross-buy" option where one gets both the Wii U AND 3DS versions, and allow one to share save files from the 3DS to Wii U and vice versa as well.
Kind of a bummer that the game that interests me the most out of the three has not been trademarked in the West yet. They all look good, but The Friday When Monsters Appear looks the most fun to me.
Thank you for reporting rule-breaking comments instead of sitting back and making catty remarks about the moderation team. If we don't know there's a problem, it won't get fixed, after all — TBD
I feel bad for EU that they have yet to get this game (but it's close!) and then jealous that they get a LE 3DS XL when the US just got the normal one. It all equals out I guess. I'd swoop up that LE if I were you. Fire Emblem: Awakening is one of the most amazing 3DS games, if not the best.
Human beings are the virus. There are some good intelligent people out there, but for the most part.... No. He is one of the "No's". Don't worry, all you people are cool.
Kickstarter is just not for me. If the final product is good enough then they can have my money. I guess I'm a little old fashioned... like good root beer or whoever CC is.
Hopefully Ubisoft just finds one of their designers or developers who can speak well to talk about their games. Mr. Caffeine was a disgrace, and last year they hired a comedian. Yes, she is a good comedian/actress, but that was clearly them trying too hard which makes them look pathetic. I don't need a celebrity MC up on stage to introduce everyone, just talk about your games and let them be the stars.
There is a ton of references and homages! I can't believe this game isn't on the eShop... It makes me want to play Nintendo games just playing it. I am liking it a lot so far.
Just a little pink puff Kirby action for me this time around, and that isn't even available until next Tuesday. I might pick up Dillon's Rolling Western 2 in the future on the cheap. Hopefully it goes on sale sometime. I never played the first one but wouldn't mind checking this newer one out eventually.
Nice! I'll be picking this up. I fooled around with the DS-10 when on mini tours back in the day. Still have it, as well. I actually plugged the DS in during shows a few times Sadly I haven't played keys in a couple years for a plethora of reasons, and now my awesome keyboards just sit in the basement collecting dust.

Re: Game & Wario Brings Mayhem to North America on 23rd June
@rjejr July does need a Wii U game. You could be right, friend. SMT IV has filled the 3DS void in July quite nicely.
Re: Review: Super Little Acorns 3D Turbo (3DS eShop)
@Faruko That is a no brainer. LM:2 is great.
I'm nuts. I gotta pass on this game. Just too much to play right now. Good review though Phil.

Re: Shin Megami Tensei IV Launches This July In North America
@Tech101 I doubt it will be. Animal Crossing is $34.99 here in the US, so the price just differs based on amount of content, I believe.

By "getting" he means "purchasing".
Re: Shin Megami Tensei IV Launches This July In North America
5 days before my birthday. Why, thank you ATLUS!
Seriously though, the lack of games in July was akin to water in the desert before this was announced. So I guess this is like that clutch oasis!

Seriously people, that Nintendo Direct blew my mind. I'm speechless. (hence why I am typing )
Re: eShop Leaks Possible Date For Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move
I've never played any of the previous entries. I'll most likely get this if the game is quality and good, which most first party Nintendo games are.
