Give the existing user base must be approaching critical mass I’m hopeful this indicates a new hardware launch. I’d sell my body for a proper announcement on that.
The music in this game needs to be experienced. It’s good enough to listen to on a standalone basis is and is available on Spotify. If you like synthwave, get on it.
For me the best old skool yet new gen shooter on the switch. Rolling gunner and many more offer great bullet hell madness but if you want that old school arcade feel with modern pixel graphics and awesome sound, this is well worth it.
I’m assuming this will be awful given the blatant attention grab last week. I’d put money on it.
That said, there seems to be a strong relationship with NL so I’m betting we won’t see a review for a while if it IS bad. I’m ready to stand corrected.
I hope the devs ARE reading this because this dedication should be supported and I can confirm it has just made them a sale. Just purchased both games, my Friday treat.
Has anyone else noticed 99% of the coming soon section of the eshop right now is absolute shovelware pap? Hey Nintendo life, how about an article on the absolute state of the eshop? It’s long overdue comment...
The only thing persistent about this game on switch is the crashing after restart. I have to exit and reboot around half the time. Surprised this didn’t get a mention. Same on my friends switch too.
The eshop deluge of shovelware, limited filtering plus insane lag has finally seen me say good buy to anything but monitoring of new releases. Are Nintendo even aware of these issues? I don’t see any articles on this, ever.
Turned off by the art style but got it anyway based on reviews of the PC version... three hours later HOOKED!! I actually prefer this to slay the spire the gameplay loop is just genius!! Best game of its kind. Hands down.
Bought it on sale. The resolution in handheld is out of kilter with the screen itself so you play through this virtual mesh which means nothing is ever sharp. You can only see one of your characters arms etc unless revealed by animation when moving. It’s horrible.
Also there is a recurring glitch when jumping backwards underneath a platform which means you can slide right across the screen over and over again with your character frozen in mid fall pose.
Surprised the review doesn’t mention any of this. Avoid.
Why aren’t you reviewing this? Massive Damage and Raw Fury are absolutely ripping of your fanbase right now. People need to know before they buy this terrible, shocking port of what is frustratingly a great game. Do your followers a favour and tell them about this before they buy.

Beginning of the end. I was an early adopter and the lack of enthusiasm google show for their OWN product is gobsmacking. I’ll never trust them again.

Re: Feature: Nintendo Life eShop Selects - December 2020
I’d love to have reason to vote for Double Dragon but here in the UK we STILL can’t play it.
Where the hell is it?!
Re: Review: Double Dragon Neon - An Energetic Reboot Which Has Aged Surprisingly Well
Still not even in the coming soon section and no update, anywhere. Guess the UK doesn’t matter.

I'd've said puff piece but this ‘content’ is a little low energy for that. Come on NL, sort it out.

Yay! A years old mobile game with naff controls and a single aesthetic! Let’s write a fluff piece!
