Marvel vs Capcom series with all three online and Capcom vs SNK series with online. Past gen games should be no problem unless the Marvel licences is one.

booted the Wii u to use the gamepad as a remote for the tv. played Mario kart 8 since it was in there for God knows how long. people are still playing it. gotta check Pokken. Splatoon. smash and tennis
