I play MK competitively online and yet I still lose to friends who only play casually with family. Perhaps this is my calling.
I live in Indonesia but i set my Switch as Georgia & my Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game is USA region, so can i join ?
Oh Great!!! ^.^
Oh wait, wait, oh no, no..., I will be traveling that day..., oh well..., but I hope to get some participation.
What a bad luck ......
I'm in. I'm gonna get slaughtered but oh well. nothing but Heavy characters I'm assuming
I hadn't played in a while but kind of on a whim, and to test a 3rd party controller, I popped this game back in and played for an hour last night. Had a lot of fun, but got absolutely slaughtered almost every time. Small sample size but I feel like I used to be a little better.
I'm probably rusty but I imagine the player base as shrunk since there are so many more games competing for people's time now. Thus most of the people still playing online probably are a lot more experienced than I am.
Still love the game though. Wish Nintendo would release more tracks and racers! I hold to my opinion that releasing a DLC update for the game would be better than releasing MK9 on Switch. Then they could release a combo pack in stores later called "Mario Kart 8 Ultra Deluxe" and the memeing would be supreme.
@Anti-Matter I believe that will work. I am pretty sure it is based on what region your Switch is set to. Why pick Georgia though?
@Heavyarms55
I didn't get charged by eshop tax if i set my postal zip to Georgia. 😅
My local game shop owner has taught me.
@Anti-Matter Good plan... but on another note, I thought you never bought digital games?
@Heavyarms55
My Portal Knights Switch version was digital download version first on December 2017 before i bought again the physical cartridge with same region on February 2018.
I need some eshop fund to subscribe NSO and purchase the DLCs for Portal Knights, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Overcooked 2 & a few of minor eshop only games with price under $2.00
Mario Kart 9 is when now?
The top 8 players in North America receive $25?!
Finally a game I'm good at!!!
I'll enter just to make other players feel better about themselves after beating me
I actually got a few seconds close to 4 world records in this game before, I was literally unbeatable in 200cc online...but after playing one week of crash team racing its impossible for me to drift properly
Wow, I can get $25 worth of games of poor quality!
@PBandSmelly I used to be called the Mario Kart King by my friends. CTR ruined me
If I'm not too busy, I wouldn't mind trying.
I was just thinking about firing back up Mario Kart 8 so this is perfect timing.
