I remember commenting that Bloodstained RotN is made by the entire team that made SotN, one of thr two games that made the name Metroidvania and it lives up to it..just that Switch version runs slower than Steam/xb/ps

I have and played both. GotY is voted by industry insiders. We vote on the fan favorite. Sales has nothing to do with GotY as "It Takes Two" has proven recently. Nobody should base sales or a GotY win on what is better as we all love games that either have poor sales or reviews. That would make a good thread someday to see what everyone's is. Mine is NieR Gestalt ps3 version with the dad...poor reviews & sales but my personal favorite game of all time.

The entire team that made SotN made Bloodstained, which is better than all of these indie games...but you left it out because you didn't like it's performance? I had no issues with the performance and it's literally made by the team that created the genre. My creditability in this article is ruined

For the short minded individuals who neglect to research, she would've been tied up with this project for a month. Most one shot deals like this are $30,000. Sure times is tough, but $4,000 a month with no time for other income is like asking a McDonald's employee to run on $400 a month. Do your research people. So ungrateful, just wnat people to slave work like other companies do and ignore the politics that hurt individuals making the games you play contributes to the problem

I liked the Valkyrie Elysium and Star Ocean Demos way more. Also the song in Harvestella when you're in the dream area was sampled from FFX

Along with Job Simulator, these are things I play games to escape from, not pay to do it. Seems gaming is oversaturated and they're running out of unique ideas

@somnambulance Nice! I also play Elden Ring. Over 100+hrs and beat the game with 2 endings and Malenia but still play for fun. On that note, my just for fun break game from ER was Kirby. My first Kirby game, it was a nice break

A lot of these are multiplatform. #1 game to buy on WiiU is Xenoblade Chronicles X. Arguably the best in the series, now with 3 announced, there's little chance of a port, and the file size is big, so the physical copies sealed will skyrocket like WarioWare WiiU already has

After the demo, I canceled my preorder. I've been playing them for years. Best one was WO3, SW4, DW8, DW8E, and well Sengoku Basara 3 lol. DW9 I was okay with. SW5 was absolute crap.

I LOVE Legend of Mana. I have the PS1 physical, PS3/Vita digital original, the Switch physical remake, ps4 remake digital, and the strategy guide. I 'was' excited watching this trailer...till I saw the battles. Very lazy strategy turnbased instead of the action style of the real game. Very disappointed and going to pass. Gameplay as to be good to buy a game. If you're not going to have fun playing it, don't play it

Spoiler alert: I was a Sony fanboy for a few decades from PS1-4. Last year when a PS5 disappeared from my bestbuy cart, I decided to buy a Switch and couldn't be more happier. Mind you, I grew up with NES & SNES, so buying NSO expansion was a no brainer for someone who never had an N64. Plus I did buy a WiiU in 2018 and bought a lot of retro estore stuff....but still counts because I was a fanboy for Sony for years. Now I buy for both and love/hate both for their plus and minuses

The kickstand is also the same as the normal Switch, not broad like the Oled, but with the weight and screen size on the one little kickstand, it's not suitable.

@Darkyoshi98 I have all 3 digital on my PS3 as well as my Vita. But we are a rare breed that like Gex (Scott the Woz also likes Gex), and that actually have it. I just mentioned WHY this is happening is most likely due to Plus doing this.

Chrono Cross is a legendary 10/10 game. Personally for me, I enjoyed it more than Trigger, FF7,8,9. Here's why:
30 playable characters that each have 3 limit break cutscenes, many dual and triple limit breaks based off which characters are in your party, 6 cutscene summons, best OST of all time (songs still on my phone and car), you can switch between the 2 realities, you can change the fonts, new combat system, beautiful and colorful environments, if you want, no random battles, beating the game once unlocks FF, play as the bad guy, 9 endings, 1 developer ending has a sick and twisted joke resting your game to title without saving, the dev ending also has a joke battle and the entire OST.

Those not complaining in this must have never played through the original clearly.
I have and am glad it's on Switch but seems rushed. Told us about it in less than 2 months. Neglected to tell us download was needed and neglected to tell us till day of release that they removed some cheats. Waited till the last minute to get as many preorders as possible. Shady. This is all beside the fact that characters look distorted on Switch when they looked better on a PS2

It's not that mighty tbh. Remove the dlc from 2022, then you have solid games, BUT let's say 1 per month and then you still have a lot of empty spots!

You can't post this on Twitter and get people's Hope's up for Alucard unless you actually have Alucard. I would imagine on surface value that Iga would not walk into a Konami office again and that they would allow this anyways, so that's why I'd unfortunately have to look at 505 Game characters

That comment should debunk those few who still believe HE will be the final character. Current 3 runner ups most likely are Sora, Waluigi & Master Chief. I am guessing by his comments that they will have some sort of scene or short talk about the series in general showing an overall look.

As far as MGS new game goes, Kojima is gone, but even worse, for Castlevania let's not forget the entire team that made ALL 3 Advance, ALL 3 DS and SOTN is gone! They made RotN and are making it's sequel right now. That game is better than MGS Survive and is the 2and best Castlevania game without being called Castlevania lol. So my expectations are VERY low. I'd also like to play the DS games without spending $300 or on an emulator

The team that made the DS, Advance games and SotN have all left. They made Bloodstained RotN, and are working on a sequel right now. So I suggest if those are the Castlevania games you want, that you play RotN & wait for the sequel

Isn't this the 3rd time (since March when I first got a Switch), that these games were on sale? I guess it pays to wait on Ubisoft games..that's what I learned when I was playing PS4

Bloodstained RotN is bar none, the BEST on the Switch as SotN isn't available on the Switch.
