Day 1. Team Ladybug has definitely reached "I'll buy almost anything you make" status for me

It doesnt matter to me since i always keep my consoles but BC should be a common feature for new consoles at this point. Is there any reason it shouldn't be? Is there a better feature that could take its place?

I'd sure like to see more racing games that aren't kart racers. I mean more stuff like motorstorm, split second, jak X, blur or vehicular combat like twisted metal and wwe crush hour

A mega man VS game. PLENTY of characters throughout the series to include

Mega man legends 3. The one game that most if not all mega man fans want

New mega man X game

Stylish action game with Zero

Collab with inti creates and do a mega man gunvolt game. Or mega man X and Luminous avenger

Curious to how the game would've turned out if kamiya "interfered". I do love bayo 3 but kamiya's bayo game is the best one

This isn't the most welcoming news but I think people are assuming the worst. For all we know he could mean they wanna do larger scale games.

Most of their games are quite short and even tho some people like myself constantly replay bayo for higher scores or to just get better at the game, there's probs even more people who just play through those games 1 time. As repayable as bayo, vanquish, metal gear rising are, they're still short games with not much content. Maybe they're making games with more unlockables, longer stories, more fleshed out characters, more missions.

Even if they are just straight up making gas games, what if they make actual good ones? What if they're actually fun and have decent content that'll make players want to keep playing? This is still Platinum. Even tho they've had their fumbles they've still made some of the hypest games in the industry.

All we can do is wait and see but I'm keeping faith

I so wish Capcom would sell them the rights back to their games. Platinum has gotten way better since the ps2 era. Imagine if they made God hand, VJ, or okami with their skills now

Superstar? Astral chain was great and I'm glad it sold well but where's Kamiya's credit? Did we forget how incredible wonderful 101 is? Bayonetta? His games have the most platinum energy out of all their titles. He's a literal gem in the industry.

Kirby 3D is long overdue. It's seriously time to step it up now. You can't do 2d sidescrollers forever

Great article. I was definitely guilty of impatiently hyping up and even getting mad over a game not having any trailers or footage or updates. Pressing my face up against and constantly tapping on platinumgames' window asking "are you done yet? Are you done yet?? ARE YOU DONE YET", isnt going to make the game come out any sooner. At the end of the day they don't owe us anything. They don't HAVE to show us anything. There's plenty to enjoy in the meantime. No bayo 3 yet? Cool. Guess I'll just play W101. Nothing on Lost soul aside yet. Oh well. Maybe I'll try out ninja gaiden 2 while I wait for that. The games will show up when they're ready. That's all there is to it really 🤷

I wonder what Nintendos next console will be. It'll have to be switch 2 right? It'll seem like a step down if the next one is just a home console

I really enjoyed this game but only the first time. Every time I tried revisiting, it just felt...boring. I realized its just a collectathon with not much else. Other Mario games had smaller more concentrated levels that were far more enjoyable. Moreso when you replay them. And yea open world Mario wasn't done before so its cool that it finally happened but the next game should be more linear

It looks even better than I imagined. I do hope the confetti is an option and that the gore is still there.

Hopefully they're working on a patch for the game. It needs some serious balancing

Now dont get me wrong. An ultraman type game being made by kamiya has me inhumanely hype, but this is a super early announcement. They're still recruiting for the game for goodness sake. What's up with bayo 3 which was announced almost 3 years ago with nothing since? They should have kept this hidden while bayo 3 gets the spotlight

I would gladly buy this 2 more times for switch and ps4. This game is my all time favorite. It's my number 0 favorite game. Levels had plenty variety, the game was so colorful it hurt my eyes, and the boss battles were tiring (in the best way). I legit felt exhausted after winning them cuz they were so much. Combat could've been deeper, and a couple levels were very unwelcome but dude. This is the only game that tops dmc5 imo

This is just kamiya saying piss off really. I'm just sayin. People are very hype for your game that hasn't been seen in what two years? We could use a little more than "yeah everything's good. Go away"

W101 is the only game that beats dmc5 imo. By like 2% but still

There's inspiration and there's ripping off and they are kinda ripping right off. Some of the bosses do look neat tho. Like the macho rooster and the pianist

Dude I've waited so long for this game to hit consoles. Might have to triple buy this. 1 for switch since it releases next week, PS4 digital for the trophies, and if they release a physical, PS4 physical to add to my collection

None of these "reviews" matter. At the end of the day they're just the same opinions everyone else has. If you think the game looks good get it and play it for yourself. If you don't then ignore it and move on to the next game. Or try it anyway. You might end up liking it.

Been waiting for another action game where you play as a cop and ofc Platinum would be the one to deliver. Can't wait for this game!

The greatest action game I ever played (along with dmc5). It was colorful, had a buncha variety in the levels, combat was fun although it could've been deeper, it was funny, it had unlockable characters which I really miss in games, and the boss battles. MY GOD THE BOSS BATTLES. It had flaws like every game. The drawing could get jank at times, and some levels didn't need to exist but damn I loved this game. I don't even want a sequel cuz I doubt Pstar could top it

With AC releasing in a couple months it was obviously gonna get the spotlight at e3 but I'm
still pissed that we got nothing on babylons fall. At least I know what I'm in for with bayo 3 but babylons fall is completely unknown. could be like bayonetta, it could be an rts, it could be like metal gear rising, it could be an rpg, it could be scalebounds second wind, it could be a first person shooter lol. I love platinums original titles best and it just hurts not knowing what the game is

They need to show all 3 of their current games at e3. We've seen nothing on babylons fall or Bayo 3 since they were announced and astral chain could use a fresh trailer. I love P* so much that anything they announce hypes me to the sky but they need to show off more.

@mordecai sadly I think most people didnt even give it a chance. It's imo the greatest action game I've ever played (along with dmc 5). Literally Nonstop hype from start to finish. Theres a couple segments I couldve done without, and the controls can get a bit jank at times but damn I love that game to death

So hype. I just hope these will be original titles tho. Thats when they truly shine

@YANDMAN cuz capcom is very capable of making cool games but they just put all their power into resident evil and street fighter

@antster1983 probably not. strider originated on playstation. surely they wouldnt leave ps4 out for a new entry
