Re: Rare's N64 Classic GoldenEye 007 Is No Longer "Banned" In Germany

Pavil

Of all of the massively popular games from the 1st quarter of the N64's life span (Mario, Star Fox, Wave Race, etc.), this is probably the only one that has completely failed to age decently. The controls, AI, graphics and subject (Goldeneye isn't even in the top 15 best Bonds) leave a lot to be desired.

Too many to name from nostalgia, so I'll roll with Super Double Dragon (SNES). Somehow I mastered it back then and genuinely enjoyed the look of everything. But that frame rate! Wow! It would've made an awesome arcade game that played properly.

A runner-up would be Fighters Destiny (N64). It's probably the best fighting game on the system, but that isn't saying much with so few to choose from.

Re: Streets Of Rage 4 DLC And Physical Edition Release Dates Confirmed

A "normal" physical release had already been released after the Limited Run last year. In fact, I remember getting mad about it being out before my LR copy had even shipped.

Was released July 30, 2020 (by Merge).

Re: Limited Run's E3 Showcase Will Include More Than 25 Physical Game Announcements

I hope Studio MDHR doesn't make a deal with LRG. Cuphead is such a well-known, well-established entity that it shouldn't need them. A widespread, physical release without a brief, month-long window would make more sense.

Regarding the main announcement: I hope that means some is left for Super Rare Games (who I love supporting, by the way).

Re: Feature: Best NES Games

Dr. Mario in the top 10? Can't tell if serious.

Also, Adventures of Lolo should be within the top 25.

Several other games on this list have me wondering what type of criteria people use to judge "old" games these days.
