@Grumblevolcano Why, if Federation Fart fails which it will and they probably know that, they'll start from scratch in the new Metroid. Metroid hasn't had a Metroid prime home console game in almost a decade, and in today's game world Metroid Prime being the way it was is not a current gen game. So they need to fix somethings in it from Destiny and Halo because they are now the main space shooters.
Hate to change the subject, but is Final Fantasy coming out on NX and when? After that big "Play it FIRST on PlayStation" meaning coming to NX later, I'm hoping 😂🙏🏼 I care much more about Final Fantasy than Dragon Quest, which most people probably do also.
This game like Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival is another failed spinoff that has to go through the cycle. It won't sell well and many won't buy it, but I think Nintendo's trying to find the boundaries with it's fans. Star fox zero with bad controls 👎🏼 Metroid Federation Fart 👎🏼 Animal Crossing Monopoly 👎🏼. I think these are moments Nintendo's staff may laugh about one day. Like "hey, remember when we thought we actually could sell that crappy Metroid co op game?" But now Nintendo's experimenting is over and it's time to buckle down with NX, no excuses
What if they made F ZERO NX and it was an open world game where you get to travel around mute city and do what you want. Basically I'm proposing a futuristic space GTA where you can race. it would be cool to see captian Falcon travel around, give you place to explore. Heights and epic car chases to comeplete. It would bring a fresh start with some old vibe on a great franchise. You can still race anytime but you can also do heights, car chases, fight people with falcon moves or guns, or anything your little heart desires
@Yorumi You have to understand though however that gamers are all about what's next. Why should I buy a Wii u over a Xbox one? Well you shouldn't and although the game pad is cool and unique it's not enough to beat the Xbox one. Nintnedo isn't trying to outpower it's rivals but trying to make a unique way to play games. The NX can cross the bridge between home and portable for the first time ever in the complete sense.
And I'm kinda shocked how worries everyone is about this console, Wii U had a different interesting idea but a lot more than just led to it's downfall. The Wii U had
No good Launch Titles 3rd Party support for a year Amiibo as a gimmick which didn't save it Games didn't ultilize the game pad enough
And the Wii U failed, but look at what the NX has already
The winner game of E3 a new Zelda Ubisoft, Warner Bros, and Square Enix already love it Not sure about a gimmick yet Seems to utilize portability being able to play anywhere especially multiplayer anywhere on any tv
So the NX is already being set up for success when the Wii u was not. But with that being said, it's crucial that NX can play the big 2017 games, Battlefront 2, the next Madden, and FF7 Remake. If so, the NX is a grand slam.
So hyped for Mario Galaxy 3! I liked Mario 3D world a lot especially for it's multiplayer, but it never had the same thrill of challenge as Galaxy. Also I haven't always been the biggest Pokemon fan, but I would be exciting to try out or see a new game on NX. Also, I think that another series of old will have a game or remake come out alongside Botw, such as F Zero NX, or Golden Sun Exile. One can only hope
@HSuzumiyaVI Absolutely, And before Nintendo talked about the idea of 1, you're NX and your Tablet and phone all connected together is the gimmick. People go nuts over Pokemon go and find out they only have to pay $150 to either play an updated version NX app with new exclusive Pokemon, or have the real game on NX and use tablet and phone play to draw people in who aren't familiar with some of Nintendo's work
@carlos82 I understand your point but I'm pretty sold at this point. This could be the console that finally breaks the balance between the home and portable parts of Nintendo. For instance, in ssb4 my friend has a Wii u and played that version, but missed out on Magicant, Gerudo Valley, Reset Bomb Forest and other stuff too. This could change gaming and become what's next as far as letting you play where portable and home unite into one
@BiasedSonyFan Exactly, some people have always wanted Nintendo to make console's like Sony and Microsoft, but that's what makes Nintendo special. A way to play games that no one else can. It's low price, portable factor, and a strong title library will over the new alternative to traditional console gaming that everyone is craving. This world is about "what's next" and what's NX't (no pun intended) is unique and incredible
@aaronsullivan Perhaps we will see an NX Plus or Pro as it goes deeper into the NX life they may add the X2 or X3 for even more improvements. However, it may never be up to par on the PS4 or Xbox One's power, but that's not really the goal of the NX.
Sounds like a sweet console, but Wii u sounded good at first too. I will gladly wait for NX because two things are key to it's success. The X2 isn't a necessity but the graphics in general are key. Also, a strong launch like up and key third parties need to jump on board. With these factors, I think that NX will be unique, yet on par to Xbox one and PS4. But it has to have third parties, good advertising and be cheap possibly $150-$250. I think we could have Nintendo's best idea for a console in a long time as long as they have the games and graphics to go along with it.
Good stuff. It's about time that Sega gets back on their feet. They've been on a crazy rollercoaster and mainly focused on Sonic for a while now, but I think now they're rediscovering their identity as a company. It's also good to see how the NX is already included as a platform, so perhaps Capcom, EA, Ubisoft, Square Enix, Namco, etc will start to do the same thing with more and more 2017 releases
Wow, I'd love to go to Japan and check this out, but it's so far away, where Orlando is only a couple hours. If Nintendo were smart, they would make it in the U.S. because millions of tourist are already at Universal, Disney, and Seaworld. More tourists are in Orlando than in Japan
@PieNinja Yeah, the thing that's so weird about this game in a good way is it relates to almost every Zelda game. The floating island thing makes me think Skyward Sword, but overall, I'm thinking Wind Waker in the sense of new different graphics and similar looking enemies and it would fit with WW in the story nicely
How the heck are you supposed to make a trilogy out of Tetris. I can barely see a half hour Christmas special with Tetris and Dr. Mario. This will be retarded
I am excited that third parties are jumping on NX, other than the fact I haven't jumped on NX yet. Hopefully Warner Bros does fully support the NX for it's full console life. Hopefully however EA, Ubisoft, and Capcom and more will join the party, Just prepare for whatever's NX't (no pun intended)
I think that voice acting and character reactions such as the old man running away from the torch Link lit in the Treehouse presentation. To me, this seems like the first time Zelda has had a living, breathing world since Majora's Mask.
@Anti-Matter Yeah that'd be insane, although, I'd rather that stay the same if it were up to me. I'd rather have a futuristic GTA style F zero game that combines an open world and racing. The avatar idea could work nicely into that. Perhaps Captian Falcon could retire and now have to train you.
@Anti-Matter Couldn't agree more, but an early release of animal crossing would be bad. Remember how new super Mario bros u missed out on amiibo, the pro controller, and developments in mii verse cause it came out so early. A new f zero and BotW however would be great because BotW won't be the only Zelda game and F zero or MK9 won't be the only racing game
It's sad that the savior for the Wii u will come to late. It's not the Wii u that matters anymore however. They can't screw over the Wii u owners who won't get the NX, but the NX needs to the primary focus. A successfull launch lineup will be crucial to the console's success for third parties and the fans. Hoping for the best
NX launch titles
Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild
Pikmin 4
F Zero or MK9
Smash Bros NX (port)
Mario Galaxy 3, I hope so. As much as I enjoyed 3D World, I felt Galaxy had so much more depth and is one of the few changelling Mario games that takes more than 2 hours
What will sell the NX is not VR, but games on it is what matter, especially launch titles. Look at the Wii with Wii Sports and TP, the Wii did good. The Wii U had New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land, and the Wii U did bad. It's a history. With Zelda BotW, Pikmin 4, MG3, MP4...
That's what will win and draw in third parties, cause would you rather have a console where ou could play Madden and FIFA, or Madden, FIFA, Zelda, and Mario. Just sayin
Link must have needed a rest, so he called in Toon Link to do his job for a while. He did a pretty good job. But Link can't worry about him. He's got a lot of other crap going on right now, such as not being able to cut the grass for hearts.
I hope it's after Wind Waker, but to me, I think that the Old Man being King Hyrule isn't a bad prediction. How else could the Master Sword get back to Hyrule. And when King Hyrule says they must go and make a new Hyrule, in BotW the Old Man tells them this is the birthplace of Hyrule.
I have a new game theory that I listed on a previous article, so let me know what you think
Breath of the wind will start a fourth path of the storyline after Oot. Now there will be where Link Succeeds in beating Ganon as a child Succeeds in beating Ganon as an adult Does not succeed in beating Ganon Runs and does not face Ganon (BotW)
This would explain some of the ancient Sheikah artifacts and the broken Temple of Time. Perhaps Link cremated himself until he thought he was ready to beat Ganon (100 years) This would put a unique spin on the whole series. Link giving up and running would also explain the corroded master sword, perhaps the guardians were once good and saved the Royal Family when Link did not, or maybe that's why they are against him.
Honestly at this point, until we know some npcs and the roles of Link and the Guardians, it won't be easy to predict. Maybe the Guardians are like the Master Sword in the sense that when he uses them for help if they are everntually good, that Ganon gains power but also now has a weakness
@IceClimbers Of what we know, yes it does make it hard to have the master sword in the timeline after wind waker, but it's what we don't know that makes it interesting. Maybe the Master Sword was frozen with Link, which would explain the corrison I however still like the idea of a fourth storyline split though
