Building games are great, I like them a lot. After playing one, the rest might feel the same. Some do, some don't. After my first wire frame building game - Bridge Builder (PC) I wanted more, some time later I got Girders (PPC) that was good and last year was great with Armadillo Run (PC) an awesome physics game. The more of these games the better, at least that is what I think. Want to get this one and World of Goo whenever they appear in Europe (Hint Hint: hope soon...). PS: The people asking for DLC for WoG, play this one as if it was DLC
Why don't they publish it themselves? They must need funding. Since High Voltage isn't publishing it (alone?), let's see if Yuke does a better job than them at getting this games over here, 'cause HV's other games are a lost hope.
It's ALIVE! But I have to ask; Are all three coming out on the 21st or is it going to be one ArtStyle each fortnight for six weeks (or more)? I think the latter.
Virtual Toys is a Spanish developer (YEAH FOR THEM)... weird to see the game come out first in the US. Although maybe it did due to the contract they have with publizher UbiZoft to make thoze great gamez. P.S. The blitz is still there (two games weekly), only not all the games are hyped up to smithereens. EDIT: Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam image; http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/2166/i16812jd6.jpg
Not bad, they are getting there, but they are still missing one game. You need four games each fortnight NoE. Artstyle or SB would of been a nice fourth. ~ Here I come Space Invaders!!!
@that_dan_guy: The slot is already in the title, duhhh
Bet they went the slot cars route since the input is very simple, just press the trigger, or in this case B. I hope the cars skid when they go too fast into a curve. And the wifi options, I can see them using it for sharing custom tracks. Out of their three games so far, this is one I could see myself buying.
@WiiloveitOnline: Bring it on... OMG!!!11!1 MR and PUP are going to be huge when they get released. MR wifi looks wicked with all those online features but in my eyes it can't beat PTw/BEER.
@Terranigma: You? My avatar will stay the same, it's to remind myself that region locks will always exist (lol).
Like KDR has pointed out, NoE (I mean NoJ) is going to torture us by not releasing it next fortnight. Oh wait... forget about next fortnight, I want it this Friday!!!
@WiiloveitOnline: These guys don't get it. Anyways, let's play a match online when this comes out, all right?
US releases on monday is going to be huge, so many games have to come out before october ends.
@Terranigma: No game should be more entitled to come over than others. It's better to have the option to buy a bad game than to never have it. Atleast that is what I think.
I don't know why people are calling it a good week (it might be a good week), but this isn't a week it's a FORTNIGHT, get it straight.
Well like the tip said we got TP (soon on my Wii). I'm starting to think that NoE's WiiWare will never catch up with NoA's at the recent pace we have been going. By realeasing the services every fortnight you have to release at least four games, not two or three.
Look at these monthly releases: May: US - 10, EU - 6 (great US launch) Jun: US - 7, EU - 3 (great US after-launch) Jul: US - 4, EU - 4 Aug: US - 4, EU - 6 (EU catch up) Sep: US - 8, EU - 6 (US catch up??) Oct: US - 8, EU - 5 (US CATCH UP?!??!111!?//?) Total: US - 41, EU - 30
The service has been more or less the same appart from the great opening month in the US. But lately the differences between the US and EU shops have been gradually increasing. That is why I thought they would increase a notch this friday by releasing TP, SB and all artstyle games today. Guess I was wrong. I don't really know why I always come hopeful for the next release, just by adding a little more to the service you can improve it considering the state which it is in. I think it's maybe because I like to complain. Heh, I'm a complainer
Onto the new release, HSH. I've played the HSH demo for PC. Not bad, but not my kinda thing. Maybe if they added some Wii exclusive content and is no direct PC port. BTW, it isn't a Sims clone, you don't control the people, it's only the decorating part. Congrats to TIM and TP for having the release dates close to the US, atleast some developers know the process.
To the duo Objection_Blaster and AlexSays: That isn't a issue. What it really comes down to for me is value for money, and that is a subjective matter (see Serpent's comment). Wii lost a sale to PC.
This game reminds me of a mobile game called Darkest Fear which was awesome, one of the best mobile games ever. The gameplay elements with light and puzzle are all there, so are boses and top down view. The third person view is whats going to be an upgrade of that game. When this game comes out, I'll be comparing it to that one.
(copy & paste from news "New Swords & Soldiers Instructional Video" ) This and Swords&Soldiers will surely be future buys for me.
[...] This is something we've been considering [...] CONFIRMATION High Voltage doesn't want our money, good for them. Remember the Wii has limited space, the more time you spend thinking and not releasing, that space will be occupied by your competition.
How can they still be considering taking their games over here? After 5 months from their first US release and they don't have a plan of action, still considering, even though any currency outside the US is still stronger than the dollar (this means bigger returns).
We were all right when we first heard news on this game. Nothing to look forward for us PALs. SIGH.
Does the WiiWare version of the game have 5 or 6 chapters? The sixth chapter (moon) was going to be the exclusive for our over priced retail copy, so is this extra chapter in the WiiWare and/or PC version?
Apocalypse although I see four great games (counting Orbient), they still can't give us all the games next fortnight since the PAL version of World of Goo is going to be retail (just like ness points out).
Don't worry that the rest will come out in two months. Hip Hip for NoE!!!! HOOOREEY !
I noticed in some videos that the graphics looked weird (crispier), are they changing all the gfx or just the character sprites? Although I prefer the original (after playing it countless times), having it updated like this really gives you an incentive to buy a game that you can play for free (not a cash-in).
Some Q's. Don't they have english, spanish and french in US WiiWares? And isn't there applications problem also over there with all the countries they have in America, or do they all use the same rating system?
Like they say, "The grass is always greener on the other side".
Two games a fortnight are never going to catch up with Americas weekly duo. If it isn't quantity or quality, what the hell is did NoJ think it is doing with PAL with this batch? If you are doing catching up, do it quickly (more games) and get it over, specially with bad ones.
Maybe they are having problems, like always, bringing them over here (even though now we are their strongest market). I hope next-generation (since this one is a lost cause), Nintendo will have worldwide releases and we can forget all this crap. Heck, a region free console would be perfect, you just decide where to spend your cash.
Art Style™: ORBIENT™ is the first in a new game series from Nintendo, combining deep game play with atmospheric flair and simple, elegant controls that anyone can pick up and enjoy. With two more Art Style titles scheduled for release in October, this is your chance to be the first to enjoy this truly remarkable gaming experience. So two more Nintendo games next month apart from MaBoShi?

Re: Strong Bad Episode 4: Dangeresque 3 Coming To US WiiWare On Monday
Seems like Strongbad is in no rush in EU. At least one region is getting the monthly schedule they promised.
Re: World of Goo Coming to WiiWare in Europe!
Should of been like this from the beginning,
releasing it via retail was madness and they knew it.
Looking forward to getting it, and hope it gets released before 2009.
Re: Art Style Series Coming To Europe Soon
Spiffy website, thanks Starwolf for the heads up.
I think we will get Rotohex next year (2nd January),
same week the US is getting MaBoShi (5th).
Re: Art Style Series Coming To Europe Soon
Next year Mr. Cheez, it's well worth the wait!

Re: Family Glide Hockey Coming To WiiWare
The only one I would remotely care about is their track cars game (no slots )

Re: Review: Art Style: Rotohex (WiiWare)
An Art Style game is always an eight.
I'd get Orbient out of the three and relax. (or Dotstream, if they ever do it)

HECK YEAH! Finally~ AAA WiiWare title crossing the pond.
Re: Review: Strong Bad Episode 3 - Baddest of the Bands (WiiWare)
Already a review? Kudos to the WWW Team.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Strong Bad Episode 3 and Art Style: Rotohex
Oh PEI, and I thought that the phrase "Nothing like ours" would give it off.
@AENIGMA: Yeah, I would like a Dotstream one too. Just any to be exact.
Re: Lonpos Comes to Europe
The question is when, I think it will take 7 WiiWare releases till this comes out.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Strong Bad Episode 3 and Art Style: Rotohex
What a weak week. Nothing like ours.
I thought AlienCrush, HSH and MaBoShi were also coming out.
Re: EU WiiWare Update: Tetris Party, The Incredible Maze and Home Sweet Home
Would be funny if they got the last artstyle, StrongBad, AlienCrush, HSH and MaBoShi (because the rule one developer game per month is BS).

Re: Review: Tetris Party (WiiWare)
Isn't that why it is called Party, because of the local multiplayer?
Score is a little low, I expected a 9.
Re: Tetris Party Hits Europe Friday
Great, only Strongbad and all artstyle's left to go for this friday.
Re: Digital Leisure Announces Sudoku Challenge!
I also think they need to work on the UI, don't care much really because I'm pretty set with SkinzSudoku on my PPC.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Tetris Party & The Incredible Maze
I expect Tetris Party, Strong Bad and all three artstyle games atleast next friday if NoE wants to improve from their previous lackluster fortnight.
@WiiloveitOnline: The forum is on the VC site.
Re: Mart Racer To Bring Supermarket Sweep Excitement To WiiWare
Nice use of cell-shaded graphics. It only needs a little work on the steering I think.
Re: Tetris Party Tournament Announced
Thanks for the info Corbie, lets see how it develops
Would be cool if it was worldwide, then we would be getting Tetris Party this friday. But heck, not getting my hopes up for nothing.
Re: Tetris Party Tournament Announced
Which region is this for? Edit: Aw, like it says on the link, for the US.
Feels like another great week is dawning

You can buy it in a box if you feel like it Alex, just for a measly price of $55 in a few months time. I know you want to.

Re: Tetris Party Released On WiiWare In Japan
You guys are spoiled rotten. Just after a great week, you want another? High hopes there.
Tetris Party is one of the few WiiWares that will stay forever in my Wii (no space left) accompanied by Dr. Mario of course.
