I dunno about this i think i would just go to a arcade
Oh look its a first... an air hockey game!
I bet like Family Table Tennis; this will be 500 points as well, and have a very low medicore score, like a 5 or below!
Air Hockey...
@ Most-Excellent!
Totally agree with you there. This one looks like one that would appeal to some, but not to others
"This one looks like one that would appeal to some, but not to others "
I think it will appeal to others but not some.
Anyway I think this might be cool if they get the controls perfect
If u have Wii Play why buy this ?
4 Player. Wii Play only supports 2. Also this has different stages some with obsticles and those stupid power moves. All that said the Wii Play version is probably going to turn out better
Wait, why am I even caring? It's Arc System works who for whatever reason won't release their games in Europe. Shame, as their 500 Wii Point games would do well here.
The only one I would remotely care about is their track cars game (no slots )
I love air hockey. Not sure how well it would work as a game, but I'll keep an eye out.
looks good!
YES! An Air Hockey game for Wiiware! I love Air Hockey! Will buy if it's cheap, and doesn't suck like FTT.
I'm awfully meh about this. I think they should just remake the original pong, with four player (co-op or versus) and an online mode, but no updated graphics. Now that would be awesome.
@Wiiloveit
The Pong(-ish) re-make that's on the Wii Play disc, is probable my favorite adaptation of pong that I've seen before. (Although the flash game '3-D Pong' was pretty awesome too.)
Looks fun.
@MrPoo6321: I found the controls on that version were often a bit dodgy. If there was a version with just vertical movement, then that would be a nice touch.
I think Ninty should go and release all the Wii Play titles seperately though, at about 500 points a pop (maybe with a couple of extra bits and bobs here and there). This will be a good way to rip-off those who can't buy the full game in the first place (which can be found cheaper than a seperate remote on the interwebs), or those who only want a bit of fishing. They could even add DLC, letting players get a second mini game for about 300 points.
I smell teh monies for Nintendo.
Oh, and back to the article: I read the dev's name as Askys (ass-kiss) instead of Aksys at first. Oops.
Wii PLay was sufficient enough to cover this base. For the love of all that is holy, though, I hope you can turn off the "Yah!" voices.
FTT wasn't that bad, is just not controlled as you would imagine, I wonder if this one will be like that too?
