I'm going to wait and see what the new handheld offers in: new gameplay, DSi games extras, DSiWare (only Dr. Mario interest me, so far, and not that much), before jumping in.
I've seen some Tiki footage, and the physics are weird, not earth like. The structure someone created had a pivot that made it unstable and instead of collapsing, it was perfectly OKAY, standing still, with monkeys climbing up and down. Incredible!
Looks like another good double update for America. funFUN is out and Tiki looks like a steal, I liked the stress levels and rigid structures you saw in the trailer. Can't wait for the review.
I really wanted this game before, not sure now... It's kinda wacky and childish rather than a thrilling, scary walk through the dark school corridors at night!
Ahhh OK, either way you did give it around a four on your website too. It's pretty cool, I didn't know there was a TV Show King Party, might buy it if it's cheap.
@Terranigma: Wow, hold your horses, I was simply trying to lighten the conversation since I thought you where a bit hard on Corbie for a simple keyboard error and taking it out of context, seems like it didn't work. But I won't press the matter on, since it is a sore subject. If it has offended you, I'm very sorry!!!
I've never heard of Strong Bad until it came out in WiiWare, but I don't think it is a comic but rather an animated internet cartoon. I was meaning, for example, things from Ibáñez, Hergé or Marvel.
You got another fortnight NoE, don't mess it up... ( It's going to be great with both Orbient and WoG ) Congrats to Hudson for releasing Pit Crew Panic! close in both regions !!! And you guys know that four games each fortnight is the same as two games weekly, right? No special treatment, if anything, we are starting to be treated like the US.
Finally Space Invaders is out and all those complainers can shut up And yeah, we are holding MaBoShi in custody until WoG comes, so don't even mention that game
I'd like to see how you could port Trauma Center (for example), wesleyh, without dumbing down the gameplay/requirements. The Wii apart from the motion control, it is also a great pointing device. You can't port Wii games that use these controls effectively to the PS3 or X360.
Another Spanish developer has a go at WiiWare, cool The game is looking good and coop is a great plus for me. But there might be similarities with LostWinds.
Hope you like it NTSCgamer, because I didn't, I thought it was too slow. (Thank you Taito for the low entry price) I think more developers should try this, could be like a paying demo. Sell the first level, room, etc, for 500 Wii points, you try it, and if you like it buy the rest... but keep it cheap ... OHHHhh wait!!! Couldn't they give the first level free, like some Nintendo channels do, and then pay for the whole game via DLC? End of WiiWare, beginning of ShareWare!
I'm interested in the game and its gameplay mechanics. The springing does seem a bit wobbly. An example (from the IGN video) when preparing for a jump a line goes straight up from the Boingz although instead of going up-and-down it makes a parabola. Could be part of the mechanics, but it did seem weird. Either way, I'd try it out when it comes out here and check the controls myself.
@marmosetofdeath: Do you know when this game is coming to Europe? Like most developers; are you still translating, rating the game, etc...?
As I said in other news, America will get MaBoShi when we get WoG, that's NoJ evil reasoning with the updates. Don't kill the messenger. Haven't got a clue really, having regions sucks. I understand the ratings, etc. But as the world tends to globalise, this fragmentation is...
@4: Nobody has said anything about Boingz yet. Guess they are waiting for the review.
Will the DSlite be compatible with DSiWare, or is it locked to the DSi model and the region which it is bought on? I was thinking on getting the DSi, but due to their limitations on regions, software, etc. I'm thinking on getting a Lite now and not trouble myself on the DSiWare, DSiGames, etc.
@Tony: Just go to their website, see their midnight series and mobile series (Asphalt, Midnight, Platinium, Real Football, Soul of Darkness, Assassins Creed, Abracadaball, etc).
KDR_11k, you really think the Art Style games are going to be weekly updates? I think it will take a month and a half (or more) to get them all. P.S. Think bad with NoE and you will get it right.
EDIT: The person who updated the Strong Bad release for PAL did it for the fourth and not the third. Yup, the European Strong Bad 3 is late, but we don't skip it
Good fortnight. NoE FINALLY gets it (they nearly got it last update), after so many months. This way NoA WW won't fly away so easily, but we won't catch up with it either.
Finally some screens for this game (wanted to see how they developed the 3D) and it doesn't fail.
While we wait (a common European sport), you can have a go at Darkest Fear on your mobiles, which has the exact same gameplay as this game only with a top-down 2D view. Highly recommended!!!
So does America only has one rating organization for all those countries? Guess they should try unify the ratings companies here in Europe sometime in the future. Thanks for the information Jason.
I'd pay good money for a WiiWare Bridge Builder game, and this does look more like it, since the structures you build seem stable and not gooey like in WoG.

Re: Wayforward Launches Official LIT Web Site
LIT defines itself as a 3D horror action puzzler.
The setting is right, schools at night are quite eery, so quiet and lifeless.

Re: EU WiiWare Update: World Of Goo And Lots More!
What to say? WoG is great (goes back to it)
Re: Europe to Get World of Goo This Friday
SilentJ, the deal's off "wuahahahaha"
Don't worry, you guys will get the game on Monday (all this was part of the deal we discussed in Iceland). I always keep my word!
Re: Behold The All New Swords & Soldiers Trailer
Looks cool, can't wait to play it (hopefully soon)!
Re: Europe to Get World of Goo This Friday
We all saw it coming, what a great WiiWare update is brewing up for Xmas.
Re: World of Goo
That's weird because it's VCs turn on the 26th.
Re: Niki - Rock 'n' Ball Coming To European WiiWare This Friday
That's because the UK is one hour behind mainland Europe
Re: Nintendo Confirms Japanese Christmas Eve DSiWare Line-Up
Might get that as a substitute (if I find it), thanks Bass.
Re: Nintendo Confirms Japanese Christmas Eve DSiWare Line-Up
Bought already a DSlite for Xmas, they lost a DSi sale for not having it out earlier.
But Dr. Mario does sound tempting
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Strong Bad Episode 5 & Big Kahuna Party
@SilentJ: Let's meet in "The Solfar" at Reykjavík (Iceland). Bring no one with you.
@Versus22: Don't worry, you'll get it next Monday if not the other. It's a good game, but not as special as WoG.
Re: Niki - Rock 'n' Ball Coming To European WiiWare This Friday
I think the 500 points is due to the price of Plättchen over here. Bet this will be 1000 points in the US
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Strong Bad Episode 5 & Big Kahuna Party
How does it feel with no MaBoShi? The bank account number for the ransom is:
DE89 3704 0044 0532 0130 00
PAY UP if you want him alive!
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Buster & Scratch, Hockey Allstar Shootout
I see NoJ is playing their cards nicely.
And another two WW week, congrats!

Re: Swords & Soldiers Officially Delayed
If this came out on December like they wanted; the 19th was going to be a hectic WiiWare update, with Orbient, S&S and WoG.
Re: World of Goo Makes PC World's Holiday Best List
They'd better release it by then, if they know what is good for them!
Re: Bobby Carrot Forever Confirmed For WiiWare
I know the game/company, though I'd prefer Comic Blast or DDD.

I'm with you Wiiloveit, ULTIMATUM is the 18th, you've been warned NoE!
Re: Manga Coming To Japanese WiiWare in January
Don't know about this one, but if they put Naruto, all the kids will want it.
Also western comics could have a go at this method of distribution...
Re: Review: Pit Crew Panic! (WiiWare)
No, no, no. We are getting World of Goo tonight.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Space Invaders Get Even & Pit Crew Panic!

I think I understand the controls more, thanks for the explanations guys.
Shame about the European release.

Re: Evasive Space Is Anything But Evasive When It Comes to Screenshots
106 screenshots????
EDIT: (After all 106 screenshots) lol Looks like an improved Protöthea.
Re: Wii Firmware Update Makes Transferring to SD Faster
Any SD card bigger than 2GB is SDHC, and the current Wii Firmware doesn't support it yet.

WWR on December?
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Strong Bad Ep 4 & Target Toss Pro: Bags
