@Royalblues The switch’s power is certainly part of it, but BOTW looks great and the lay game runs on the switch from when it was brand new, so they didn’t even have as much time to learn how to optimize the power

I like Pokémon cards, the anime, and I enjoy having the Merch. However I own sword (including the DLC) and let’s go eevee and neither game has grabbed me. Hopefully when I get legends arceus (I’m just too busy to get it now) that will get me to actually like a Pokémon game

@blindsquarel Problem is this isn't a Zelda game. The majority of the metriod fanbase is very "hardcore" and won't buy the games for a ridiculous price ecspecially since the games don't have annoying motion controls, but the motion actually makes them better, at least in my opinion so there is less of a reason to play the new version over the old one

@Snatcher Unless you have a Wii U, in which case you can just buy it on the virtual console. I wouldn't bother trying to get the OG game with wii pricing. I mean I got the game for 20$ at a gamestop years ago and now the standard price is 100$ + and even gamestop is charging 60$

@JeanPaul The question is the pricing. They don't want to charge 20$ for it I'm sure, but the game is 20$ on the Wii U eshop and this is metriod, not a zelda game; they can't rely on the name to sell the game, even if the game is great (which it is)

@Specter_of-the_OLED I don't think you can delay a game without a release date, and I'm pretty sure that's what they're trying to do. They are being very quiet and not giving significant updates or empty promises

I have the game, I've played the very first tutorial mission, and that's about it. I tried one other mission and failed terribly and I'm just so terribly busy the next couple months

@Specter_of-the_OLED They didn't hire fans, but fans pay them to make levels. I mean that's pretty much just mario maker 2 right? I mean i know mario maker is more limited than what you can do with a rom hack or a new game, but it's still easier than going out and hiring someone

1. Celeste isn't that hard once you get used to it. There is plenty of challenge in the game but its not unforgiving, the game doesn't punish you in any way for dying

2. They turn off comments on anything related to covid, which is understandable. I don't think something like that shouldn't get posted because the actual opinion in the article isn't contraversial, its just the general topic

@UglyCasanova Despite what you may hear, the main game isn't that hard, or long for that matter. It only really gets tough when you get to the post game. Not to say the game is easy or anything but it's something I could beat when I was 10 with enough practice

I hate the graphics, but I can get past those. However I just got monster hunter ride, xenoblade chronicles definitive edition, and SMTV and so I’m very busy atm

Fun fact: On steam you cannot look at persona 4 golden without being asked to input your birthday before watching a trailer for it, however you can look at this game without inputting your birthday or anything

@blindsquarel no, at least not anymore. There are items that you can pay to upgrade faster, but they give you 3 max level item enhancers so it’s no longer a problem

Both the switch and the Xbox versions look about the same to me, in many instances I thought the switch looked better, but in others I liked the Xbox better. If u play the game I’m playing it on gamepass because I’m not paying for the expansion tho

Sea of thieves could run on the switch, it might require some optimization but I'm sure they could make it work

I’m super paranoid, it took me hours to download a mod for Minecraft because I was cross referencing everything

I have low standards, even if this game is bad it can’t be that bad. I think the only way it would be bad is if it’s way too easy and short

@kurtasbestos yeah, you could pay 99.99 USD to get like what, 37 special slots? The shop is empty and there’s no way to get coins quickly anyways

@AmplifyMJ they need to let us expand our storage with coins like Pokémon go, that’s the biggest problem with the game in my opinion.

Looks pretty cool, I’m not going to buy it tho. I have so many games I’m going to get and my backlog is literally 90% of the games I own

@zapswitch I believe Nintendo payed them a large sum of money (I can’t remember the exact figure) to have the game as a console exclusive. This was revealed in a leak last year. In fact at least in early stages it was leaked that the game was not originally intended to be a switch game at all.

I get it, gameplay over graphics. But honestly pokemon gameplay isn't all that great, and graphics are an integral part to the expirience.

I’m personally really hyped for this game, I really liked the 2nd and this seems to be bringing in more new ideas than just salmon run

@StarPoint also split screen on Wii U sucked, idk why they did some balloon side mode that nobody wanted to play

I didn’t even know I had this but apparently my brother got this at 9 cents on our switch and it’s been sitting there

I got this game for Christmas but it got delivered to the neighbors so I didn’t get it until a few days ago, and I’ve been really busy and haven’t been able to play much of it at all

@TheRedComet Yeah I 100% agree, but I would rather wait twice as long and get a product I enjoy if it ever came to that then get a terrible product in a short amount of time.

A bad game is worse than no game at all, j would rather have a 8 year development then have two bad games 4 years apart, if need be

Pikmin bloom is a fun thing to do on my walk home from school but I feel like they could change a few things, like what if you only planted one flower at a time(instead of these big clumps) , but they were permenant

@Baircade I like pikmin bloom but how do you spend 50+ hours in it?

Fortnite was my top game with a over 200 hours and I nearly exclusively play with friends
