Re: Retro Studios Outlines "Symbiotic Relationship" With Nintendo Teams

Mickey

"M-Mister Iwata-san? Is the fur good enough yet?" Kelbaugh said, while uncontrollably shuddering. Knowing full well that, if Iwata says 'No', the team would have to spend another week in the Nintendo game development dungeon.

Mr. Iwata looked at the fur, shook his head, and looked back at the employee to say:

"... No, It is not good enough yet."

Re: Game Boy Advance Titles To Hit Wii U Virtual Console From April Onwards

@Kaze_Memaryu I don't completely disagree with you, you do make some very good points, but, like you said, we'll just have to see how it turns out.

Though, the way I see it, there could be some console gamers (or handheld gamers that also own a Wii U) that may have missed out on some GBA games and might wanna play catch-up on the system's library without having to pay ludicrous prices for the carts online.

Then again, there probably aren't enough people in that situation to technically make this a "good move" for Nintendo... Blargh, whatever. I'm still happy about this.

Yeah, I'm just gonna be a big ole' jerk and say: Screw all of you guys' wants, I'm getting what I want and that's good enough for me.

That oughta stop all the people who were pestering me about liking the idea. u_u

By the way, to those who are all confused as to why the GBA games aren't also coming to the 3DS at this moment in time, here's a short and quick answer: The 3DS is doing great! Right now, Nintendo wants people on their Wii Us or [for those who don't already own one] buying one so they've got to put more games on the system.

Anyway, I'm loving this.

Re: You Can Now Use Your GameCube Pad On Your Wii U

I'm going to be THAT GUY and say I never really liked the GameCube controller. I personally disliked the size, button layout, shape and feel of the controller. And the only time I ever REALLY "got into" was with Star Fox Assault's dual-stick mode. Of course, that's probably due to my freakishly huge hands.

Re: Hardware Classics: Nintendo Virtual Boy

Mickey

"it's a console every self-respecting Nintendo fan needs to witness in the flesh at least once in their lifetimes." You really must get out of the habit of adding these details, Damien. I almost bought a Virtual Boy!

Re: Namco Bandai Is Bringing Barbie And Monster High To Wii U, Wii, 3DS And DS

Mickey

"although we're not entirely sure that Barbie Life and Monster High: 13 Wishes are the kind of games that dedicated Nintendo fans are waiting for." Then you CLEARLY don't know dedicated Nintendo fans. Since that Barbie game on NES, the hardcore Barbie/Monster High/Nintendo fanbase have been craving a game to do their FAVORITE THING justice and, with Namco Bandai on the wheel, (a company devoted to quality #StarTrekTheGame) it's a near guarantee that these will be the new Wii U blockbusters! BARBIE/MONSTER HIGH/NINTENDO FANS UNITE!

Re: Mega Man FPS "Polarized Opinions" Within Capcom As Well

Mickey

@aaronsullivan Believe me, if there was a choice between this and Rockman Xover then I'd choose this in a split-second. Oh and seriously? It wasn't Retro? Huh. Okay, screw me then.

@mariobro4 I raised my internet voice, more for emphasis than anger. I didn't even add an exclamation point.

This isn't like Wind Waker cause that was just a change in art style. It's not like Metroid Prime because that kept the spirit of the original Metroids. THIS IS TAKING A MUCH BELOVED SERIES, TURNING IT INTO A DARK AND EDGY FPS, AND THEN PROCEEDING TO CALL IT MEGA MAN. "Bomberman: Act Zero" anyone?
