@Zuljaras This day one update is exactly because of morons like in the video. To prevent them using and leaking the console/games before everyone else until the official release day. π€·ββοΈ
The whiney and elitist Nintendolife community at it's best again. It's not just here, but ESPECIALLY here. Slowly I remember, why I stopped reading and posting here quite some time ago. π
@sethfranum
It theoretically works on every game, but since you lose a bunch of buttons or they are inconveniently placed, it doesn't really work on many games.
Maybe this will change on Switch 2 with changing button mapping, but the C-buttons are mapped to the right stick and I'm not sure if you can change that. π€
@HugoGED PS5 Pro sold without an optical disc drive. You HAVE to install almost every game on the SSD to play it. That's basically digitally to me. π€·ββοΈ
@user0 It's almost 100% certain. you can resell them. I think this is one major reason, why you have to put the gamekey card into the console, if you want to play the game.
@Olliemar28 Just wondering, because every time you post a story based in a social media post, if it's Bluesky you mention it by name, but if it's X for example like here, you just say "social media". So I was thinking maybe you get a little bit extra if you specifically mention Bluesky by name. Don't know, not sure if there's anything like this. π€·ββοΈ
Gamekey cards basically is "physical media", which at the same time it is and is not. π€ So it would be the same as on other consoles from Capcom's perspective.
@NintendoWife With dock, hdmi-cable, power adapter and maybe a second controller Switch 2 is a fully fledged home console. But still rather small. π€·ββοΈ
@darkswabber Also, Nintendolife or any other news source for that matter, doesnΛt have to implement the videos from Nintendo Today in their articles or post. They can just write something with a reference to watch the video in the Nintendo Tiday app.
The mental gymnastics here are quite something. Just download the freaking app and watch the videos or whatever there. Is it anything different, if you watch it somewhere on social media or elsewhere?π€¦ββοΈ
@SplatRay001 Some people pay a couple 100 bucks for a special edition of a game, for some even 10 bucks is to expensive for the standard edition of the same game. π€·ββοΈ
He is right.π€·ββοΈ Back in the days I paid around 100β¬ (converted) for a N64 game. Today, many gamers apparently are more into hoarding games than playing them, because it's always cheap, cheap, cheap.
@GameOtaku On the other hand, In got the opportunity to try many games, I never would've purchased in the first place. π€·ββοΈ Also, I can just pay 40β¬ for 1 year and can play all the games I want. And be honest: For how long do you play a game? Especially these old ones? Sure, if you want tonplay only one or two games and nothing else, buying them separately would be the better option, but for most others ...
