I hope it never really "catches up" to Mario Kart 8. At one point, it is enough to sell basically the same game again and again and just adding new (or old) courses and drivers.
Don't have the time or patience to play a Mario Kart game with 200 tracks and 500 characters/karts. And if Nintendo had continued like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, what would've been the expectations for Mario Kart 10? 500 tracks and 700 characters/karts? Where would it end? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
