I ordered mine on Walmart.com because everybody was sold out (should've pre-ordered it.) Oh well, it still says it will come by Thursday, so I hope that they do have them online because that would be good. So, for now I think that I'll try to just get my hands on a Toon Link amiibo while I wait.
@Grumblevolcano, Your point is valid. This could end up with a lot more "fake" games coming to the handheld. However, Sataru Iwata wants to EXPAND consumer choices. So there will still be the normal, high quality games that you expect from nintendo and other third-party companies, but with more small games. However you also will probably need to search for these games more, but if you stay updated than it won't be that bad.
Man. For me Club Nintendo is working. However, I wonder if taking it off was just to prevent further crashing of the site. By now i think that they should just mail them out though.
I can definitely see another slight version too. Of course, it wouldn't be big enough for them to announce (like I didn't even know that there was a Xbox 360 S before my brother told me).
Man, I wish that Nintendo could just release the emulator separately with DLC of the different games. Of course that probably wouldn't work out too well, it could have some good effects, like that Nintendo could just release the code for the games and include the rating that it got when it was originally released. That way, the manual may be hard to get around but some steps could be skipped, like having to plug all of the stuff into the emulator and release it separately.
Meh, I don't really like drawing (though I did love flipnote studio and inchworm animation) so the negative review doesn't really affect me. However I do like reading the negative reviews because they are entertaining for a sick, twisted guy like me > Just kidding, though they are entertaining for me.
WHAT?!?!?! I've only recently started playing it (I don't have an NES, but my friend does, and I rarely play the virtual console) But this seems way to simple to NOT be common knowledge... Ahh well, maybe it was discovered by rage-mashing when they died
I don't necessarily find any of this offensive. If you want to be "easily butthurt" then fine, complain all you want, but it is kind of annoying and expected something more harmful by the subtitle.
What? I thought it had to be a Nintendo game. I say that because Sega develops pretty much everywhere... But what has been typed is typed, so let's go on. "6 gamers playing" or "6 chain-chomps biting!" I may have other ideas later...
I looked up "defected Amiibo" online and a ton of results popped up... however why is it that a bent sword is always 'rare'? I mean that could happen during shipping rather than in the factory where they make them. I personally want to get Amiibo figures but will wait until after Christmas to see what I get for Christmas to see what I should buy (that's why I only have SSB4 3DS not Wii U)
Tier lists really are just opinions. There isn't any official Nintendo tier list because Nintendo likes everyone to think every fighter stands a chance. While that certainly isn't true at some occasions, that's what the update 1.0.4 was supposed to do: balance out fighters. So if another update like that happens, Tier lists would all change. And, if strategically played, all fighters can win against other fighters. Such as some weaker fighter going against anyone can still win if the other person hasn't mastered their recovery.
Dude, this should happen. I mean, sure it's Sony, but it's not too bad of a deal. As long as Nintendo is smart, nothing too bad will happen. And I'd probably watch it. Because that would be so cool.
This is cool- I don't have any Amiibo yet, but I do want one. The main reason I haven't gotten one yet is because I only have MK8 as the only Amiibo available title in my possession, and I don't fancy how weak the Amiibo compatibility is. If I wanted to look like Mario, I'd choose Mario! But I'd love to see third party software that incorporates Amiibo. Or downloadable titles. Nintendo, I think, should embrace Amiibo right now because people love it so much it's out of stock a lot. Make more Amiibo titles, Nintendo! They don't have to be so big.
I'm assuming that Amiibo would work similar on Mario Party 10 as to SSB, where you can level the Amiibo up and customize it (although the latter isn't likely unless you could customize normal characters). If it's not and is a missed opportunity like MK8 (Like seriously, can't they just have the Amiibo be racers or something cool?) then that would be kind of sad. I think that Amiibo has a good opportunity on every game, but just that the different choices that are done aren't too sweet. I guess that could be to maintain the game to be themed still how it is, but then the DLC on MK8 wouldn't fit that, so Amiibo shouldn't be a big deal to change the theme. Plus it wouldn't UNLOCK the racer, just allow you to play as it if the Amiibo has been used.
What about a game that you'd normally play with a Mii with certain powers derived from your "Favorite Color". Such as someone wearing red could have a fireball move and a generic melee move (perhaps like a punch or a mace or something). You could play it as an RPG and then when you tapped an amiibo figure onto the gamepad, you could play as that character (And if they have different models of figures, each would have their own range and melee move assuming it defines what model it is) and each character would have it's own moves. As an incentive to use the figures, you would be stuck with up to level 10 Miis, but Amiibos would be able to go up to level 100 or some higher number. The ammibo would be able to get different moves as it levels up, such as a Mario figure might be able to get an ice range instead of a fire range or a tanooki melee. The amiibos would be overall better than just Miis, plus updates could be made to be able to support EVERY AMIIBO AVAILABLE. Of course, not necessarily, but it would be nice to have it. It could be a free roaming game, like World of Warcraft but like... World of Amiibo or something haha. What d'ya think? Wouldn't it be cool?
Yes!! I had super Mario World 2, but that skin is still used in it. I don't think that this will replace Mario 2D, but if it does at least the fanatics will still produce amazing levels. I also hope this will be like SSB4, where more information will be released as it goes. Hopefully we'll see a lot of items according to the theme, or something like that.
This game is pretty good. @Moon, nice profile picture. I got it today, and it's fun. It focuses more on battle aspects rather than building. So I never have a house, and just wander around to Ant forts.
I personally don't download full games. Think they take up way too much space. But maybe I'd consider getting a Wii U download game, as I have the black one with amazing memory (My family has a thing for amazing memory... We also got the Xbox 360 with more storage [I'd have to say... 20 gb? Compared to 4 gb.])
Pokemon wants to learn the move update. However it already knows 450920 (That's not a real number, give up on trying to prove me false >) lines of code. Would you like to replace some lines of code?
Man, The eShop is under maitinence. Can't update OR T0T.
I'm looking forward to the release-the original wasn't new when I got it, as it's about as old as I am, but when I played it I found it to be one of the best pokemon games I've ever played. This will be enhanced, as it would seem weird to release a new pokemon game with 2003 graphics, but it still hits close to the original. I hope that the game looks crystal as well as the old ones did
I personally wouldn't care-although having a Japanese version of SM64DS would be cool... I still wouldn't import games unless I spoke the language of the region it came from, in which case I'd still have to buy from Europe or US because I only speak English. The reason is because I'd only buy games that wouldn't come out here, but I'm assuming that if it goes to EU it would go to US so that's why I don't care.
@LunaticPandora I agree... I see it every now and then and it looks way outdated-the villains and 'megazords' look like toys filmed up close then cropped onto the scene. I'd expect at least the special effects would look better, but no. Probably low budget, though games like these probably produce that budget.
Not surprised-I once got a Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince game just to find that it had lacking features-sure you could do spells, but not unless the place you're in told you to do a spell with a little symbol. The game wasn't too good, but it still seems better than this...
Really? Why would they have 2 CLONES of a game that the trend is pretty much over. I doubt either of these games will get much attention. I've played flappy bird-one of the million of free copies. It's so simple. If any more of these "Mooching Titles" are created, I'm sure they will get a lot of hate from places like Miiverse. So let's hope that no more clones are created. I'm just hoping by now that no one tries to make a Clash of Clans clone on Wii U, because that would be a little sad..
Everyone realize this: When you get the FREE Smash Demo, there are 30 uses for it. There will be only be 15 days (including tomorrow) To play it before it comes out. That means you can open it 2 times a day. That's more than enough in my opinion. If it locks you out after one game, you can still have 2 plays a day, so that's an OK amount. Basically if you want to play it, there's always tomorrow. Just remember this bit of wisdom...
Here's an idea: By now it's close enough that if you want to play it very badly all you need to do is this: Step 1 wait until 9:00 AM tomorrow Step 2 Download it Step 3 Open it and don't close it. Just keep your 3DS on until you really don't care, but you have 30 uses so... Step 4 Wait until it comes out Step 5 Get Gamefly be amazing! Step 6 ignore Step 5 Step 7 ANNNNND stop talking
Now I can transfer my legit rare pokemon, like darkrai, Zekrom (not rare, but level 100.), and Tornadus. Again, not rare, but impossible to get on Y itself! But somehow, I apparently have a pokemon that is non legit or something, because it wouldn't let me transfer it . Also, It tricked me the first time. It asked me "Would you like to transfer this box?" which I thought meant "would you like to transfer some pokemon from this box?". So I transferred all the pokemon in box 1.
