well you DID advertise them here, and a LOT of people check here daily good thing too, or I would've missed out! can't wait to add these to my wall o3o
lol smartphone's battery life is crap if you do anythign more than have the thing in sleep mode in your pocket, ram usage shoots up, it gets hot, and the battery plumets. this'll never be practical. also, Nintendo makes great quality games, and apple just has LOADS of free to play crap on a stick
there's a lot of pros and cons to this game, lots of cons actually. However it's not as bad as what Mario Party 9 did and the minigames are really fun as usual, so I'm still enjoying it. I really hate that I can't save a game in progress and do something else with my 3ds though. Odd, since every other Mario Party ever has had a save feature...
I work backroom at Target and saw one of these bundle boxes back there on a "push-to-salesfloor" cart. I got to hold it and read the back of the box, it's spiffy :3
@divinelite um, xenoblade is one of my favorite games of all time. massive open world jrpg with psuedo=realtime battle system, new game plus, amazing story and voice acting, and thousands of collectables. it's beyond fantastic
@marnelljm you think it's just a graphics update? It's got online play, enhanced controls (actual swing direction instead of random "waggling"), and new training modes
UK is more spoilery, so I like the USA one. shows main new mechanic and the gameplay as well as draws the viewer in with a cheesy live action reenactment
@GreatPlayer because Mario Party always has fantastic one player gameplay and wii party u doesn't? also, i've always played mario parties alone because i had no one to play with, so i'll love this version.
im in the US and while online play had a visibly cut framerate, it was still playable and i was connecting with people within seconds, I don't even get to try the warmup room also, I didn't waggle in the original and so the controls feel just as good as back then, if not better since I can set up backhand or fronthand as I like. for those people who got wii sports resort, the motions and controls are IDENTICAL to this (nearly)
oddly enough, I think the waiter mini-game best shows what the wii u can do. 1-1 motion that knows what angle you're holding it compared to the tv and precision rotation and control with no jitter. so fluid
mine transferred fine, in fact, i transfered everything from my wii just to get all my wii fit data over, and I have to say those pikmin transfer things are so cool (i loved the 3ds transfer tool, but this one blows that completely out of the water)
"Kid Icarus: Uprising (Nintendo) — Quite why this outstanding 2012 3DS release is on the Download list is beyond us right now," because it's a good game...?
every song is somehow dirty, and kids are exposed to them on the radio all the time. although for the longest time I never noticed the line in thnks fr th mmries "he tastes like you, only sweeter" until I listened to my little siblings singing it in band hero and then I was like "........................."
well duh. split second decision making and problem solving, map memorization and efficiency planning, reaction time practice and hand eye coordination, of COURSE it's good for the brain
blah, i'm going to end up buying this on wii U and 3ds even though i have it on wii, wii mario all stars, nes, snes mario all stars, gba, computer, and online... but who cares its worth it
um, the 72 pin connector uses spring-based pins that wear down their tension over time and thus lose contact. this boiling method implies all he's doing is cleaning it, which won't fix it. i just ended up buying a new 72 pin connector for my NES 3 years ago and it worked great
i still say streetpass is the dangerous one. you can't really block that i think. with spotpass of course if you add random people from the internet someone is going to post a picture of their "stuff" and send it to you
i'm praying there was a miscommunication at nintendo and the order was "turn off streetpass" and when it got down the nintendo pipeline it got understood as "turn off spotpass", because otherwise they have it completely backwards. as other people have said, streetpass is the dangerous one, you can remove spotpass "friends" that send you dirty things
i have this for my ereader and it's addicting and awesome. i mean, what other pinball game has a top and bottom half board? if i fall off the top I still have a chance to live
i love you nintendo, so much. im getting the club pass for all of the things because if i ever play any one of the things more than 5 days total i'll save infinite money. its like the arcade cost theory: if you are going to buy a game, make sure you'll play it more times than it costs to play once. so if it costs a dollar to play at the arcade (DDR), and you'll play it more than 50 times, you might as well get a $50 DDR game. then after 100 plays it's like each individual play costs 50 cents. 200 plays is 25 cents, so on
I will literally buy a japanese 3ds in order to get this game. I already imported daigasso band brothers dx and its one of my favorite music games of all time, I still need to buy another copy just so i can download more songs. its THAT good. even if it came to america i doubt the anime songs i like would be available for download over here
