there's a lot of pros and cons to this game, lots of cons actually. However it's not as bad as what Mario Party 9 did and the minigames are really fun as usual, so I'm still enjoying it. I really hate that I can't save a game in progress and do something else with my 3ds though. Odd, since every other Mario Party ever has had a save feature...

im in the US and while online play had a visibly cut framerate, it was still playable and i was connecting with people within seconds, I don't even get to try the warmup room
also, I didn't waggle in the original and so the controls feel just as good as back then, if not better since I can set up backhand or fronthand as I like. for those people who got wii sports resort, the motions and controls are IDENTICAL to this (nearly)

oddly enough, I think the waiter mini-game best shows what the wii u can do. 1-1 motion that knows what angle you're holding it compared to the tv and precision rotation and control with no jitter. so fluid

i'm praying there was a miscommunication at nintendo and the order was "turn off streetpass" and when it got down the nintendo pipeline it got understood as "turn off spotpass", because otherwise they have it completely backwards. as other people have said, streetpass is the dangerous one, you can remove spotpass "friends" that send you dirty things

i love you nintendo, so much. im getting the club pass for all of the things because if i ever play any one of the things more than 5 days total i'll save infinite money. its like the arcade cost theory: if you are going to buy a game, make sure you'll play it more times than it costs to play once. so if it costs a dollar to play at the arcade (DDR), and you'll play it more than 50 times, you might as well get a $50 DDR game. then after 100 plays it's like each individual play costs 50 cents. 200 plays is 25 cents, so on
