"so it is possible the 3DS character list could be smaller than the one on Wii U due to the lesser hardware capabilities." not really, didn't they already say they were making both games have the same characters? and that was why they were toning down moves on the wii U version so it would also work well on the 3ds?
Kingdom Hearts never had a chance of getting onto any nintendo home console, it's always been a sony thing for the big games, and a nintendo thing for the handheld games (except for birth by sleep, i still need that...)
oh hey I figured out what the backup save thing is ACTUALLY for. Before, if you wanted to delete 3dsWare to make room for more stuff, your save data would be deleted too. now, you can do that and it'll AUTOMATICALLY create a backup file that sits in your 3ds until you download it again (says so in the manual, hover over the options software and click manual on the bottom) . how handy
@JaxonH i like the gamepad for some reason, it was designed for it after all, so in those big vertical sections there's a lot of white space on the sides (on the tv)
price is fine, anyone who says otherwise is silly. especially with an included 32 gigs of space. (my xbox360 is crying in a corner with it's 4gig space)
with as much as you bashed it i'm surprised you gave it that high of a score, although I agree with the score. though, I disagree with almost every thing you wrote. enemies and platforms are extremely easy to tell which layer they are on, as the game blurs things out of focus and so it's really easy to see what is where. also, I'm playing through the game now and without some of those checkpoints I would not have been able to keep my sanity, I have the 3ds version too and I wasn't sure why I stopped playing that one but now I remember. With checkpoints in the levels aren't as brutal, but still put up a good challenge. I can barely get TO the checkpoint in the last level of the normal levels, as it's so freaking long and tedious. As for the ghost levels, they are probably my favorite part because the gameplay is so radically different since it's not just move kill jump kill repeat, it's a tougher variant on what works and it's really fun to play through.
pfft idiots. HELLO? Four swords adventures? Pac man versus? almost every game in Nintendoland? people love asymetrical gameplay and "private" screens, it's true we have yet to see the most it can offer, but sit a group of brainstormers down for 5 minutes and I'm sure you can think of something
OH, MY, GOD I forgot to watch the other e3 trailer bits, I only saw the one in the morning! now I have amillion things to catch up on, like this piece of AMAZINGNESS
YAY! i've been waiting for this for SO long! Picross DS was fantastic and I've been waiting for a solid 2d sequel (Picross 3d was great too, but I still love the 2d ones)
I love the N64 controller, used it two of the three ways (I don't think I ever found a game that used left hand to d-pad, right hand on control stick), and goldeneye's method of faking dual analogue by make players hold two controllers per player was genius and funny only thing I didn't like about it, was that the control stick's plastic would wear down and become herp derpy after a while. I want to replace my N64 control sticks with the ones in the psuedo N64 controllers they have in hotels http://images.wikia.com/logopedia/images/1/1f/Lodgenet_N64_controller.jpg
@supered91 um, of course. it's a Wii U, so of course Wii remotes will work. you don't even need the motion plus included ones. I still use my four wii remotes from when the wii first came out and they work fine, except the one that died from an orange juice acciden
2 month delay on the boxed copy? WELL, good thing I decided to go digital in the first place. why would I even want to have to swap discs to swap to luigi mode anyway?
i'd get it if it was like, $2 the demo was terrible, you had to look hard to find the single player option because of a coding oversight (you had to push left because it defaulted the selected level to a locked level), and the credits were the funnest part, and they bored me. no thank you
i have an emulator for it, and I can make it display the two screens side by side, and then use my stereogram viewing technique on it to mush them together and play it in it's original 3d and if I want, it's original red color, or there's a black and white option
.... ......... they'e not charge induction? why would they... why put a hole in the back of the jacket.... http://bit.ly/15lmSvb (best purchase I ever made btw) come on nintendo
for the online mandatory thing, I buy a console to play game. If I have to pay for something completely unrelated to play my game then the console better have built in internet or pay for my internet provider for me
hey xbox, no one used your backwards compatability before because you needed to shell out tons of money to havethe proper harddrive add on for them to run AND not all of them were supported
here's the things you need to succeed: backwards compatability in some fashion a controller ability to play games without being connected to the internet
@FyreeTSG I recently just bought a new 72 pin connector for my NES http://www.amazon.com/NES-Connector-Packaging-Nintendo-8-Bit/dp/B000A3IA0Y it fixed all problems. I don't think those CAN be cleaned because they work using spring-like connectors, which get worn out and stop "springing up" and your solutions are to either pull out all 72 back to their original "bouncyness", or get a new connector
I made my own Wii lens cleaner when my copy of Brawl stopped working (being a double layered disc the lens was struggling to read it cuz it was dirty)
I wedged a random cdr into a rectangle of cardboard and taped them together, rigged a piece of bandaid onto the other side so it would rub the lens when it went in, and put cleaning solution on the bandaid. worked like a charm
edit: worst video quality ever, but here's a video of it with a description of how to do it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTUQ83dh2AQ , and DONT try it on your wii U, it's for wii
btw, this also fixed any powerups that involved holding the use-item button for control option B. before you couldn't charge snowballs, they would just shoot, and the jet rocket whatever its called power would instantly explode even if you were holding it
Lego City was crashing sometimes for me before the update, and now it's not... although it hasn't been long enough to see if that was actually what fixed it or if I've just been lucky so far.
there were only two things I didn't like about this game. 1: you couldn't make dialogue text instantly appear by pressing the dialogue button, and it's slow as molasses, and 2: you could only take on one missions at a time (unlike the other games). other than that it was a fantastic adventure
