Re: Poll: What's The Best Switch Game Of 2020? It's Time To Rate Your Favourites

MPSSislit

@dartmonkey
Okay, thanks for letting me know and thank you so much for responding to me. 👍
I just wanted to ask since I hadn't heard anything about it. 🤔
One time I sent a Ninjala news tip via the Ninjala Forum and it was reported on 45 minutes later. I wasn't expecting the same result, but was hoping it would be reported on sooner rather than later.
I will keep that in mind for the future. I hope I'm not bugging you guys too much with the news tip.

Re: Poll: What's The Best Switch Game Of 2020? It's Time To Rate Your Favourites

MPSSislit

@xxx128
I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but if you are then that's awesome, because I completely agree with you.

@Nicolai
If you don't mind me asking, what made you give Ninjala a 5/10 and SMB 35 a 6/10?

Hey, @dartmonkey can you ask your fellow peers @NintendoLife if they received my Ninjala news tip or not?
EDIT: I'm asking because I made a comment on the Ninjala Forum (like I usually do when something Ninjala related hasn't been turned into an article yet) on Friday, but I didn't get a response back, nor was an article written about it. I also sent you guys a "News Tips" through the Contact page yesterday, but I haven't heard a response from any of you guys, and you guys are (usually) very good at responding to the users on here.

Re: Community: Found A Great Game On Switch eShop? Send Us Your Recommendations

MPSSislit

@ryancraddock, @Liam_Doolan, and others @NintendoLife
I hope you'll still taking recommendations, if not, sorry for responding late.
Anyways, there's been a game that a user been playing that hasn't gotten a review, and it released early last year (February 2019).
The game is called Evoland Legendary Edition, and I was hoping that you guys would review it.

Re: Ninjala's Getting A Puzzle & Dragons Collab, Season 4 Details Teased

MPSSislit

@kkslider5552000
raises hand
They should definitely bring the P&D Mario game over to Switch like others have said. I think this Collab is cool as well.
Also, have any of you guys played Ninjala yet? If not, I would recommend it. (Although, I seem to be one of the few people on here who enjoys it).
Additionally, it looks like they gave @Greatsong credit.
EDIT: Season 4 is looking really cool.
They're also going to start releasing merchandise as well?! Awesome.
(I somehow forgot to include this bit, even though I was thinking it when I saw the Dev Diary)
Also, who is Greatsong? I'm asking because I gave them an @, but there's no link to their profile.

Re: Happy 68th Birthday, Shigeru Miyamoto

MPSSislit

Happy Birthday, Mr. Miyamoto (or Miyamoto-san).
Thank you for the gaming memories that you and Nintendo have blessed me, and the rest of us with, over the years.
I hope you continue working at Nintendo and have many more years in front of you.

Re: Video: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Trailer Shows Us What's New In November

MPSSislit

@Clyde_Radcliffe
I definitely agree with what you're saying.
I'm saying this as someone who's a big fan of the original GC game (it's my favorite in the series), and the series in general. I stopped playing NH after around 15 hours, because the "spirit" (or "life") from previous AC games felt absent to me in NH, and I also was pretty hyped for NH before and right after it released. Heck, I would even say I was getting more enjoyment out of Pocket Camp, than I was with NH.
I feel like the villagers have started to gain some of their personality back.

Re: Site News: Nintendo Life Turns 15 Today

MPSSislit

Happy 15th Anniversary, Nintendo Life. I hope that you have many more years to come. I hope you and the community never change, or if you do change, that it would it be for the better (though I'm not sure how NL can improve, when they're pretty awesome as is).

Re: Sega Asks 650 Employees To 'Voluntarily Retire', Cuts Executive Salaries

MPSSislit

@Nemesis666
I know that they are 2 separate divisions and that it's Sega Sammy doing the cuts, however this affects Sega as much as Sega Sammy, because develops the arcade and cabinets.
It also affects Sega as much as Sega Sammy because some of Sega arcade dev teams will be moving to the gaming side of Sega, while Sega will still making the arcade games and cabinets with the remaining arcade teams.

Re: Sega Asks 650 Employees To 'Voluntarily Retire', Cuts Executive Salaries

MPSSislit

Yikes, first Sega sells most of their arcade and now this, this is really bad.
I know Sega can get back up on their feet. They've been heading in the right direction for the past 5 years, and I hope they continue on getting even better.
EDIT: Another question I have is, was Sega's arcade business doing fine before the pandemic, or was starting to struggle a bit before then? I always thought that their arcade was booming until the pandemic hit.

Re: Sega Sammy Set To Sell Majority Of Sega Entertainment

MPSSislit

@Nemesis666
I know that they merged and that the companies act as separate companies, however insiders were saying they they felt that the Sega Sammy merger was a "hostile takeover", despite the fact that it was a merger and not a buyout.
EDIT: I made changes to my previous comment to better inform the users that I tagged.

Re: Sega Sammy Set To Sell Majority Of Sega Entertainment

MPSSislit

@Joeynator3000, @WoomyNNYes, @RainbowGazelle, @YANDMAN, and anyone else who has or will ask about who Sega Sammy is, or about Sega's output of games.
Sega merged with Sammy Corp in the early 2000's, however it was viewed as a hostile takeover. I believe some of the management changed, and those changes seemed to hit the Sonic Team the most and affecting the rest of Sega, which sent Sega into a downward spiral, until the restructure in 2015.
EDIT: I made some changes to better inform you guys.

Re: Ninjala Season 3 Arrives, Adds New Arena, Weapons And Spectator Mode

MPSSislit

@Mr_Persona
You do. I think you're confusing them with the NSO Special Offers that are released, like Tetris 99 and SMB 35. For other games that aren't NSO Special Offers and are Free to Play, you don't need a NSO membership. I hope that clears things up.
Also, if you don't mind me asking, what game did you just start on your PC?

Re: You'll Soon Be Able To Invert The Camera Controls In Super Mario 3D All-Stars

MPSSislit

Oh, that's cool. I used to play with inverted controls in games, but now I've gotten used to non-inverted.
I have 3 theories to what this means.
1. 3D All Stars will be available past March 31st. Why would they even bother updating it if this wasn't the case?
2. We will get updates for 3D All Stars every 2 months until March 31st.
3. Both of my theories are wrong, or are mixed together.

Re: Bandai Namco Brings Family Trainer For Switch To Japan This December

MPSSislit

For some reason, this reminds of Outdoor Challenge, since it's a Fitness game, and is made by Bandai Namco, that would that be cool if that got re-released.
Watches trailer, and clicks the Wii era link
Wait a minute, this is Outdoor Challenge.
I played this a decent amount on the Wii when it first came out, so this is really cool, and makes me happy.

Re: Grant Kirkhope's Goal Is To Compose For Illumination's Super Mario Movie

MPSSislit

@Mr_Persona
Oh haha. Good point.
I mean, Ready Player One, Detective Pikachu, and Sonic were good (IMO) and those were live action.
So, had you heard it was animated and are glad that it is, or is this the first time that you're hearing that the upcoming Mario movie is animated?
I personally think Nintendo won't allow anyone to make a live action with a "10 foot pole", unless the upcoming Mario movie is successful, and even then they still may not anyone to make a live action movie of their IP's.

Re: Random: Japan's Former PM Wasn't So Sure About Promoting Tokyo 2020 As Mario

MPSSislit

Huh, interesting I didn't know that. I hope he feels better soon. That Closing Mario part was awesome and clever.
On a side note, I feel like Mario & Sonic is getting back to what it used to be, but I feel like it's not quite there yet. One of the things that would bring it back to what it used to be (even more so) would be to bring back the original M&S announcer (AKA runblebee).

Re: Hands On: Immortals: Fenyx Rising Could Be The Switch Adventure You Need This Holiday

@Kang81
You're not the only one who thinks BOTW is overrated and has issues. I haven't really played BOTW, (besides from when I borrowed it from a friend for a short time). The reasons you mentioned like weapons breaking, the BOTW fanbase (and basically no guidance on where to go next in a big open world game, is another issue I have) are the reasons why I haven't really bothered to play BOTW. (I'm also not a huge Zelda fan, so that doesn't help either).
