@dartmonkey
Okay, thanks for letting me know and thank you so much for responding to me. 👍
I just wanted to ask since I hadn't heard anything about it. 🤔
One time I sent a Ninjala news tip via the Ninjala Forum and it was reported on 45 minutes later. I wasn't expecting the same result, but was hoping it would be reported on sooner rather than later.
I will keep that in mind for the future. I hope I'm not bugging you guys too much with the news tip.
@xxx128
I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but if you are then that's awesome, because I completely agree with you.
@Nicolai
If you don't mind me asking, what made you give Ninjala a 5/10 and SMB 35 a 6/10?
Hey, @dartmonkey can you ask your fellow peers @NintendoLife if they received my Ninjala news tip or not?
EDIT: I'm asking because I made a comment on the Ninjala Forum (like I usually do when something Ninjala related hasn't been turned into an article yet) on Friday, but I didn't get a response back, nor was an article written about it. I also sent you guys a "News Tips" through the Contact page yesterday, but I haven't heard a response from any of you guys, and you guys are (usually) very good at responding to the users on here.
@HotGoomba___Rebrand I feel like people did the same thing with Ninjala. (Except there was more hype for Ninjala at first, then there was for Daemon X Machina).
@ryancraddock, @Liam_Doolan, and others @NintendoLife I hope you'll still taking recommendations, if not, sorry for responding late. Anyways, there's been a game that a user been playing that hasn't gotten a review, and it released early last year (February 2019). The game is called Evoland Legendary Edition, and I was hoping that you guys would review it.
@kkslider5552000 raises hand
They should definitely bring the P&D Mario game over to Switch like others have said. I think this Collab is cool as well.
Also, have any of you guys played Ninjala yet? If not, I would recommend it. (Although, I seem to be one of the few people on here who enjoys it).
Additionally, it looks like they gave @Greatsong credit.
EDIT: Season 4 is looking really cool.
They're also going to start releasing merchandise as well?! Awesome.
(I somehow forgot to include this bit, even though I was thinking it when I saw the Dev Diary)
Also, who is Greatsong? I'm asking because I gave them an @, but there's no link to their profile.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Miyamoto (or Miyamoto-san). Thank you for the gaming memories that you and Nintendo have blessed me, and the rest of us with, over the years. I hope you continue working at Nintendo and have many more years in front of you.
Yikes, that's not good. Hopefully they can fix it quickly, as they fixed the anti cheating software issue pretty quickly. Also, where did King-X's comments go, did they get banned, delete their account, or something?
goes though track list, doesn't recognize like any of the songs
Oh, hey there's Toy Story.
As you can tell, I also don't listen to "modern" songs that much.
@AlexanderDaniels Actually, that's something that they added in the 8.1 update, and it's been that way ever since, so I'm not sure if it's going to change.
@shonenjump86 That's actually been something I've been hoping for ever since Smash Ultimate was released. My friend and I used to play with CPU's online with Smash Wii U. It was a team battle, it was us VS. the CPU's and it was really fun.
@Clyde_Radcliffe
I definitely agree with what you're saying.
I'm saying this as someone who's a big fan of the original GC game (it's my favorite in the series), and the series in general. I stopped playing NH after around 15 hours, because the "spirit" (or "life") from previous AC games felt absent to me in NH, and I also was pretty hyped for NH before and right after it released. Heck, I would even say I was getting more enjoyment out of Pocket Camp, than I was with NH.
I feel like the villagers have started to gain some of their personality back.
Happy 15th Anniversary, Nintendo Life. I hope that you have many more years to come. I hope you and the community never change, or if you do change, that it would it be for the better (though I'm not sure how NL can improve, when they're pretty awesome as is).
@Nemesis666 I know that they are 2 separate divisions and that it's Sega Sammy doing the cuts, however this affects Sega as much as Sega Sammy, because develops the arcade and cabinets. It also affects Sega as much as Sega Sammy because some of Sega arcade dev teams will be moving to the gaming side of Sega, while Sega will still making the arcade games and cabinets with the remaining arcade teams.
@themightyant You might want to post that in the 3D All Stars Forum. I think it's a well thought-out theory/suggestion, and others in the forum will probably agree.
Another question I have is, was Sega's arcade business doing fine before the pandemic, or was starting to struggle a bit before then? I always thought that their arcade was booming until the pandemic hit.
Yikes, first Sega sells most of their arcade and now this, this is really bad.
I know Sega can get back up on their feet. They've been heading in the right direction for the past 5 years, and I hope they continue on getting even better.
EDIT: Another question I have is, was Sega's arcade business doing fine before the pandemic, or was starting to struggle a bit before then? I always thought that their arcade was booming until the pandemic hit.
@Nemesis666
I know that they merged and that the companies act as separate companies, however insiders were saying they they felt that the Sega Sammy merger was a "hostile takeover", despite the fact that it was a merger and not a buyout.
EDIT: I made changes to my previous comment to better inform the users that I tagged.
@Mr_Persona Okay, I wanted to just let you know just in case you didn't know. You used to need a NSO membership for Rocket League, but know that it's Free to Play you don't need it. I think NL even made an article on that.
@Joeynator3000, @WoomyNNYes, @RainbowGazelle, @YANDMAN, and anyone else who has or will ask about who Sega Sammy is, or about Sega's output of games.
Sega merged with Sammy Corp in the early 2000's, however it was viewed as a hostile takeover. I believe some of the management changed, and those changes seemed to hit the Sonic Team the most and affecting the rest of Sega, which sent Sega into a downward spiral, until the restructure in 2015.
EDIT: I made some changes to better inform you guys.
@Mr_Persona You do. I think you're confusing them with the NSO Special Offers that are released, like Tetris 99 and SMB 35. For other games that aren't NSO Special Offers and are Free to Play, you don't need a NSO membership. I hope that clears things up. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what game did you just start on your PC?
@Mr_Persona Okay, it's always good to have more than one hobby. Do you mean your NSO membership? If so, you don't need a NSO membership for free to play games on Switch.
@boxyguy Does this mean that you are able to play Ninjala without having as many issues as you were having? I agree, I feel like people are not giving Ninjala a chance (or second chance) at all, and it has bugged me as well.
@Mr_Persona I initially thought that you couldn't change it, but apparently you can. You have to click on the Hanger icon, go to Avatar, go to the second page in the Avatar page, and the second & third icons (hair & face respectively) on the second page are (I believe) what you are looking for.
@EmmatheBest They kind of fixed that. Starting with Season 3, if you buy the Season 3 Ninjala Pass, then the cosmetics won't be consumed during Season 3. I believe this is something that's going to happen moving forward with future seasons.
Awesome, it got posted. You guys gave me credit, I wasn't expecting that. Thank you so much for posting this, I really appreciate it. Anyways, Season 3 is probably the biggest Season that Ninjala has had so far.
@boxyguy It sounds like you're using satellite internet. If so, that stinks. You change the matchmaking settings to where you can just play with others in your region and not worldwide.
@CodyMKW Awesome. I don't know how I missed that. So, I take it that your a fan of Ninjala? How are you liking it so far? Also, "we have a new player" (on Nintendo Life).
@EngineerMario I actually expected Ninjala to be at 5 Million by the end of Season 1 (2 months ago), and expected it to be at 6 or 7 Million by end of Season 2 (yesterday). Have you tried out Ninjala yet?

I like their movies, they're not Disney (or Pixar) quality, but I believe do a good job with the upcoming Mario Movie.
@Kang81
That makes sense. I'm not that into open world games, as I feel like I'm not guided as much and can lose where I'm going very easily, even though I like Collect-a-thon's.
BOTW had a mission tracker at the beginning, but when I progressed a bit further the mission tracker stopped being a thing. Why would that even be a thing, unless you put it on a harder difficulty.
Huh, interesting I didn't know that. I hope he feels better soon. That Closing Mario part was awesome and clever.
On a side note, I feel like Mario & Sonic is getting back to what it used to be, but I feel like it's not quite there yet. One of the things that would bring it back to what it used to be (even more so) would be to bring back the original M&S announcer (AKA runblebee).
@Kang81
You're not the only one who thinks BOTW is overrated and has issues. I haven't really played BOTW, (besides from when I borrowed it from a friend for a short time). The reasons you mentioned like weapons breaking, the BOTW fanbase (and basically no guidance on where to go next in a big open world game, is another issue I have) are the reasons why I haven't really bothered to play BOTW. (I'm also not a huge Zelda fan, so that doesn't help either).
@Sam_Loser2 I believe I saw somewhere on Nintendo Life saying there could be in-game purchases for IPR(or G&M), which could potentially include timers. I don't know if that has changed since then, and I believe others would the situation of that better.

My hope for this update is that they add in the ability to fight against CPU's in Battle Arenas in a 2v2 match, like you could in Smash Wii U's Online when you created a Room, but that probably won't happen (yet) since it hasn't happened so far.
@OctoAori20 If you're talking about the first beta's matchmaking and netcode, then yeah it was bad, but I haven't had many issues since launch and each update has made it slightly better than the update before it.
