In a new Developer Diary video, Ninjala developer GungHo Online Entertainment has announced a new collaboration event and has shared details on the game's next season.
Beginning today, 7th December, Ninjala will be teaming up with Puzzle & Dragons (another GungHo series) for a brand new collab. It'll bring all-new avatar items, accessories, and decorations along for the ride, and will be live up until 6th January.
As a nice little bonus, Puzzle & Dragons Gold will be reduced by 66% from 10th December to celebrate the occasion. If you're yet to experience Puzzle & Dragons on your Switch, this is a pretty great opportunity to try it out.
The team also shared the first details for Ninjala's fourth season – it'll be starting on 7th January and will include new improvements, a new stage and more Gum Weapons – and a range of Ninjala merch has been teased for 2021.
Are you a Puzzle & Dragons fan? Excited for Ninjala's upcoming content? Tell us below.

Ok, raise your hand if you've not thought about Puzzle and Dragons since the Mario crossover they made a few years ago. raises hand
I mean, I say that joke, it probably made millions and millions on mobile in Japan since then. And I have not, so I am still the fool here.
@kkslider5552000 I love how you're staying humble with a self-burn, that second part could have been me word for word 😄
@kkslider5552000 I only played the demo on my 3DS but I'd love a SWITCH port it's literally a perfect SWITCH port for me

P&D is one of those "made for Japan and nowhere else cares" kinds of things.
I still play PaD on my phone and still enjoy it after nearly 2k days of logging in. But now that I work a full time job I don't have much time to play anymore.
On the other hand PaD Gold is not worth it and I highly recommend you don't buy it. I don't regret spending a few bucks for a few hours of gameplay, but it has barely any content and it's a waste of money. It's also way too easy. I only bought it cuz I was curious as a long-time PaD mobile player.

They should definitely bring the P&D Mario game over to Switch like others have said. I think this Collab is cool as well.
Also, have any of you guys played Ninjala yet? If not, I would recommend it. (Although, I seem to be one of the few people on here who enjoys it).
Additionally, it looks like they gave @Greatsong credit.
EDIT: Season 4 is looking really cool.
They're also going to start releasing merchandise as well?! Awesome.
(I somehow forgot to include this bit, even though I was thinking it when I saw the Dev Diary)
Also, who is Greatsong? I'm asking because I gave them an @, but there's no link to their profile.
I played the SMB Edition on 3DS and beat it to the end, but never beat the special worlds. I never beat P&DZ either. I did enjoy the game though, and have picked it up once or twice since. P&D Gold is currently $15, so that means it would be discounted down to $5--not a bad deal at all.
Have also wanted to get P&DX, but without a Japanese 3DS, I don't think that'll be an option. Stupid region lock...
@Goat_FromBOTW bc that's how it is on the box
I wonder how many more properties GungHo has that they'll collab with? PaD is definitely by far the biggest, but i'm not sure if something like Volta-X or GALAK-Z is fit for collabs...
