@nhSnork Sony changed its system last year I think. Only 1 PS4 per account (with exceptions) and up to two Vitas.

I think as long as they can be transferred easily, then the Switch will be fine. I can understand not allowing digital transfers without certain safeguards first.

I think VC is overrated. It's nice to have, but not that necessary.

@Menchi187 I would agree with you, but I think it's ridiculous how I need to download a 14 GB install for a physical game on the PS4. The install file is bigger than Zelda.

@Yasume: It is indeed 2017. Most tablets have no more than 16 GB of space, none of them use hard drives, and flash memory is still somewhat expensive in the high range. Also, PS4 and Xbox may have more space, but a huge chunk of that is wasted by inefficient physical media.

@ThisGuy215 3DS got everything from DSi and Wii U got everything from Wii. How is that "very Nintendo"? It's actually more Sony and Microsoft

@Traveller Not necessarily. The systems are different and not even the competition really offers this.

@BLP_Software Indeed. PS accounts are also linked to hardware and it's severely limited. The main difference is that the transfer process is much easier than Nintendo's

@DBailey Possibly, though the same is true when you transferred from Wii to Wii U, so this doesn't really change anything other than maybe the transfer process.

And, seriously, the game is much bigger than a $60 game, so paying a little extra for more content is justified here.

Yeah, the orbs aren't really worth it once you have a good team. Nintendo should have made them cheaper anyway

@Untempered-Link See, you're looking at it from a quantity standpoint. If you really like those PSN games, go for it, but as others have said, the offerings have been mediocre at best. Compare this to an SNES that you know you will play, and with online to boot.

Nintendo probably made the decision based on activity. If there's not enough activity, there's no point in maintaining it. It'd be easier to just use Twitter (among others)

@DarkKirby This is how I see it.

The first few months, Nintendo is selling to the fanboys. They will buy out all the preorders regardless of what is at launch.

This summer, Nintendo will branch out to those interested in Nintendo. They will have Splatoon, Mario Kart, and Zelda by then along with some indie titles and 3rd party games.

This holiday they will sell to the parents and the "second-console" owners. They will have Mario as their big November title, and surely some 3rd parties will port yearly titles to the Switch by then.

Other than this, I don't know why they would launch in March in the first place.

@JLPick At the same time, some third parties put so minimal effort in the Wii U that it was laughable.

I applaud Sega, Ubisoft and Activision (Skylanders) for at least TRYING to help the Wii U, but EA made no such effort. All their ports were either half-butted or delayed or lacked most content.

@Stargazer Because the Wii was a thing. It didn't have the power, but it still got ports.

Either way, some devs already said the Switch is easy to port for. Heck, major Japanese games are being ported for Switch, so it's possible for western devs to do so too.

What's ironic are the PS4 vs. PS4 Pro numbers. Guess Japan doesn't care about specs as much as the west does.
