Everyone has their tastes. @Bolt_Strike doesn't care for the 3DS line-up as much as I don't care for the PS4 line-up. It doesn't mean we should just gang up on him for having a different opinion.

@Bolt_Strike Allow me to point out the main problem with your argument. You seem to think that the whole world should revolve around the customer, which will lead to disaster in most cases. Nintendo has the right to do whatever the heck they want with Metroid, whether you like it or not. It's not YOUR franchise, it's theirs. Sure, it sucks that they're not releasing any huge hits lately, but that doesn't give the fans the right to do it for them.

I used this argument when defending Disney's copyright of Mickey Mouse. In this case, copyrights should not expire when the character is the face of that company. Samus is associated with Nintendo and thus belongs to Nintendo. Is it fair? Probably not, but not all laws are designed to be fair for the customer.

1. Everyone gets excited about a fan game
2. Nintendo shuts it down
3. Everyone freaks out like it's the first time
4. Nintendo fans complain but for some reason still buy Nintendo games
5. Rinse and repeat

The Nintendo cycle!

I played it again for about 5 minutes and got like 10 warnings. They should just update with "Don't be an idiot" warning.

It sounds great, until you realize they may have to pay taxes, figure out how much they spent on the team since the purchase, etc. It may not be as much of a return as shown here.

@3Daniel No. Once you finish a "decision" or story plot, you are not required to see it again. Matter of fact, if you have to replay a fragment to make another decision, you can tap the skip button to skip to the decision part

@IceClimbers Depends on the deal they have with Game Freak and Creatures. I'd imagine it'd be a little over a third since Nintendo is covering for marketing, manufacturing and distribution.

Maybe there should be a ranked Splatfest.

@RoomB31 It depends. Pokemon Go may bring the brand to a mainstream audience and thus increase the sales of the TCG, merchandise, and new games, all of which Nintendo gets royalties from.
